Are you worried about your memory skills or is there

someone in your family who gets easily confused and forgetful? Everybody knows what a great loss it is when you lose your

memory, even if it’s only for a short period of time. However,

memory loss can be a sign of a serious problem. Unlike your eyes,

which may weaken with age, your memory need not become

weaker as you grow older. In fact, like your muscles, your

memory can improve with training and practice.

Let’s take the example of the chess champion. Have you

ever wondered how they can play chess so well? What’s their

secret? In fact, the best way to improve your memory is to keep

on using it. The more you use your memory, the better it will

respond.

There are lots of things you can do to help remember things

better. You can use the same areas of your brain in different ways.

You can work out the logical parts of your brain by solving

riddles. You can work out the visual parts by reading and

drawing from memory. You can even improve the very physical

act of memory by learning how to relax.
