She is so afeared, sorrowful and irritated that no words can describe the feeling of suddenly throwing into the darkness from the bright world. However, the fate brought her Miss Sullivan. With Sullivan's love, Helen Keller gradually went out of the negative mood, and cheer up to fight with her unfortunate fate. In his book, Helen Keller wrote down like this, "The greatest disaster, not the wounds of the past, but in the future to give up". For a girl without hearing and sight, it is difficult simply to open her mouth to speak. For she can not hear any voice of others and herself, shehas to use a hand to touch and feel the movement of her teacher's throat and lips as Miss Sullivan is speaking. A success pronunciation often needs thousands of times to imitate and correct. In this period, she wrote, "My work was practice, practice, practice. Discouragement and weariness cast me down frequently; but the next moment the thought that I should soon be at home and show my loved ones what I had accomplished, spurred me on, and I eagerly looked forward to their pleasure in my achievement". When Helen can speak the first complete sentence like "it's really hot", she and Sullivan realized that perseverance can overcome any difficulties. However, the fate didn't stop teasing her despite her disabled body. When she was 12 years old, she wrote the first short story The frost king, and make a great stir. But soon people found this story is similar to Miss Cambay's work The Frost Fairies. The accidental similarity hit Helen heavily, she was almost fear of writing. In writing her last work, teacher, a fire accident burn up her 20 years' collections of notes and letters, together with the Braille library and the exquisite craft gift given by many countries. Helen was not discouraged by this hit. She is like a true fighter full of spirit, and prepare to deal with all kinds of misfortune at any time, and stubbornly fight to the final victory. Just as she said clearly in her book, "…but I may not enter. Fate, silent, pitiless, bar the way. Fain would I question his imperious decree; for my heart is still undisciplined and passionate".Cherish and pursuit the value of life constitute another important aspect of people's viewpoints of life. We cannot determine the length of life, but we can decide the width and height of life.
