初中英语新课程标准(2011年修订版)
二、语言知识
学生在义务教育阶段应该学习和掌握的英语语言基础知识包括语音、词汇、语法、功能和话题等五方面的内容。语言知识是语言运用能力的重要组成部分，是发展语言技能的重要基础。表3是二级和五级语言知识的分级目标。详细内容参见附录一、二、三。

一、课程性质义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质。
