1. 单元(或主题)教学设计说明
英语课程标准强调培养学生英语听、说、读、写能力,提高学生英语综合语言运用能力。本单元设计紧扣学生英语核心素养培养的四个要素,即语言能力、学习能力、思维品质和文化品格,通过两个人物看病的场景呈现,引导学生分层阅读,使学生整体感知语篇,逐层深入理解语篇;通过活动设计、情境创设,培养学生语言运用能力以及合作意识;通过微信发帖求援与帮扶的拓展设计,培养学生灵活运用语言的能力,也使学生懂得了朋友间应该互相帮助,相互关心,情感教育升华。
2. 单元(或主题)学习目标与重点难点
学习目标:
会听说读写词组:brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine;
学会疑问句型“What’s the matter with you?”和“What should I do?”,以及对它们的答语;
了解并掌握情态动词的用法;
读准字母组合ch的发音;
能够在交际操练中潜移默化渗透学生善待自己、关爱他人的情感教育。
重点难点:
会复述story time的内容;
会自如使用如下两个句型,并能在日常对话中使用;
What is wrong with you ? I have …
What should I do? You should…
了解并掌握情态动词的用法;
单词medicine, temperature的发音。
3. 单元(或主题)整体教学思路(教学结构图)
本单元共有八个板块:第一板块Story time讲述的是苏海感冒去看医生的过程以及迈克去看牙医的过程由此引起新单词feel, check, should和新短语brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, 以及新句型What’s wrong with you? I have… / I feel…。第二板块Grammar time主要讲的是由what引导的两个特殊疑问句,一个是医生看病用语:What’s wrong with you?另一个是病人询问医生的用语:What should I do?
