教材分析 【What】本节课活动主题为“分享一个关于道德故事的看法”(Share your
opinions about a moral story)。本课讲述了一个国王为了试探民众对于问题的态度,将一块大石放在路中央,并将金币藏在石头下面,然后观察人们的反应。大多数人都抱怨但没有行动,最后是一个年轻女孩将石头搬走,获得国王的赞扬和金币。
【How】本文是一个寓言故事。寓言故事是一种东西方皆有的文学体裁,它的篇幅一般不长,语言精辟简练,情节简单却极富表现力,多使用拟人、比喻、象征等修辞手法,以借喻的方式来揭示有教育意义的主题和深刻的道理。
【Why】本课聚焦人的社会责任感。学生不仅要理解故事表面的意义,而且要学会解读其深层内涵。如果将整个故事进行联系和引申,联系到个人生活和整个社会现状,那么这个故事又表达了什么意义呢?作为个体的人,面对社会问题应承担怎样的责任?这都是值得学生深入探讨的问题。
学情分析 学生上课态度认真,思考问题效率很高,有表达的能力但缺乏表达的勇气。学生是高一年级的学生,对英语的理解和运用能力有一定基础。他们已经初步接触过故事的阅读和写作,对于故事中的主题和情节有一定的理解。然而,对于隐含含义的理解和应用还有一些困难。
