affected by traffic jams, so it is a reliable way to avoid
being late for appointments.
However, there are also some challenges when taking the
Beijing Subway. Firstly, it can be very crowded during peak
hours, especially on lines connecting the city center and
suburban areas. Sometimes, I have to wait for several
trains to pass before I can get on one. Secondly, the signs
and announcements in the subway are mostly in Chinese,
which may be difficult for foreigners to understand.
Therefore, it is important to learn some basic Chinese
phrases or use a translation app to navigate around the
subway.
Overall, the Beijing Subway is a great transportation
option for locals and visitors alike. It is affordable,
fast, and convenient, although it can be crowded and
