Therefore, the studies of micro-porous or micro-tubule structure in bone tissue engineering scaffolds are increasingly being taken seriously. Several types of micro-porous or microtubule structure in scaffolds were highlighted. Their recent research and application were discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of the microtubule structures generated by different techniques were analyzed and summarized. It should have good biocompatibility and biodegradability, and three-dimensional connected porous structure with a specific shape[1–5]. Thereby it facilitates the transport of oxygen and nutrients, excluding of cell metabolism, cell growth and reproduction [6-8].According to the study of tissue engineering scaffold by the researchers, the research status of micro-channel architecture in tissue engineering scaffolds is highlighted. The advantages and disadvantages of various preparation techniques were analyzed and summarized. Their development trends were prospected [9–12].The scope of the paper with three main areas of focus shows as follows:(1) The requirements and effect of tissue engineering for micro-porous or microtubule structure in scaffolds [14–15],(2) Manufacturing micro-porous or microtubule structure in manual bone scaffolds with traditional methods,(3) Manufacturing micro-porous or microtubule structure in manual bone scaffolds with CAD and RP[13],(4) The design of manual bone micro-porous or microtubule based on cells deposit [16-19].2. Conclusion(1) Traditional preparation method has the advantages to prepare micro-pore structure of complex shapes and of high porosity, but the shape is implemented by a manual operation whose controllability is not good enough to control some structural characteristics accurately such as the distribution of micro-porous or micro-pipe, spatial trend and mutual interchange etc. The emergence of rapid prototyping technology provides a new and very effective way for construction of three dimensional space structure of artificial bone and achieves precise control ofthe construction process. Moreover comprehensive application of manufacture methods will be the main direction for future research.(2) Using finite element method and computational fluid dynamics technique can characterize various factors quantitatively, make numerical simulation and experimental study for microfluid flow state in the microtubule network with different structure parameters of tissue engineering scaffolds, give structure parameters of microtubule network after optimization, provide design basis for rapid prototyping of tissue engineering scaffolds, design best environment for growth and proliferation of tissue cell. This brings a lot of help for us to further understand stent insertion and make optimization design of scaffolds.
