Robots are especially desirable for certain work functions because, unlike humans, they never get tired; they can endure physical conditions that are uncomfortable or even dangerous; they can operate in airless conditions; they do not get bored by repetition; and they cannot be distracted from the task at hand. Robots don't have to look or act like humans but they do need to be flexible so they can perform different tasks.Current robots have advanced sensory systems that process information and appear to function as if they have brains. Their "brain" is actually a form of computerized artificial intelligence (AI). AI allows a robot to perceive conditions and decide upon a course of action based on those conditions.General, robot not only refers to certain intelligent human-like machine but also it is a automation equipment, combined with the mechanical, automation, sensors, computer technology and so on. It representative a national’s science and technology level.In my opinion, robot technology is in infancy time, just like a PC in 30 years ago. This filed have greater potential compared to pure machinery and computer fields. With the continuous increase of productivity and higher demands to working condition and living condition, Robotics will play a more and more important role in our life and work.As regard to me, I know robot is through the animation, Science fiction-Film and a lot of other television works. In college, I read many books about machinery, computer courses, after that I had a depth understanding of what the robot is. After graduation, I went to work in the YFV, a company which belong to automotive industry. YFV has many robots produced by ABB. This make me realized how much the robot technology bring to us. It also makes me firmly believe that robot technology is one of the most promising technology.9、你的理想？你选择院校专业的理由是什么？After careful think and analysis, I choose the Robotics Research Center.Because the mechanical engineering is one of the basic disciplines involves a wide range, different schools of different research fields, the difference is very big. The idea was to choose a personal interest, accords with the personal innovation ability of the mechanical field. So I willconsult browsing compared each school of mechanical characteristics. In mechanical institute of aeronautics browsing website, I found the institute of aeronautics robot. Because the robot involving machinery, microelectronics and computer etc many disciplines, belongs to the frontier science and technology. In this field, can learn more knowledge of robot technology for individuals interested and beihang university institute of robot, and finally I strong chose to enter oneself for an examination institute of aeronautics robot.一般都会问一些专业课的知识，多是与实际相结合的。
