After this module’s study, students can ask others if they want to go to some places.
Period One
Teaching aims:
1. Being able to read the words in Module 9.

3. Through practice, be familiar with these expressions in Module 9.

Teaching steps:
1. Write the words on the blackboard.

Ss: Who can read this word?Invite him/ her to read and to show others how to read.
T: Give them some necessary help and rules about reading the words.
2. Use the words in different situations.
1)peace: All the Chinese people love peace.
2)world: One world , one dream.
3)kangaroo: There are lots of kangaroos in Australia.
4) Encourage students to use different expressions to practice these new words.
Homework
1. Read and write the new words and Chinese meaning in your exercises books.
2. Pre-read the dialogues and passges in Unit 1 and 2.
Reflection
单词较少,所以我把相关的文化知识、句型知识补充进去,对但此进行拓展性学习,运用性练习。学生的积极性很高,能吸收很多信息,能说出很多不同的句子来。这在很大程度上锻炼了学生英语思维和口头表达能力。同时也为今晚的造句作业提供了信息来源。
Period Two
Teaching aims:
1. Being able to read and understand the dialogue in Unit 1.
2. Being able to read aloud fluently and emotionally.
3. Being able to retell the text.
Teaching steps:
1. Warming up and lead-in
T: Show some pictures to students.
Q: Can you introduce the places in English?
Ss: (I like the Great Wall because they are beautiful…)
2. Tasks
1) Read the passage in groups and understand it.
2) Find the sentences with ‘do you”and underline them.
3) Listen and repeat.
3. Task Two
Activity Book Unit one
Ss: Read the questions on this page and understand them. Then read the passage silently.
Ss: Finish the exercises. Discuss with your deskmates.
T: Let’s check up.
4. Reading aloud.
T: Read the passage for students to repeat.
Ss: Practise reading aloud.
5. Retell the passage with the help of key words.

Find their questions and difficulties. Try to solve the problems by themselves.
Then disscuss in pairs. Follow the teacher to repeat.
