 Teaching steps:

1. Write the words on the blackboard.

Ss: Who can read this word？Invite him/ her to read and to show others how to read.

T: Give them some necessary help and rules about reading the words.

2. Use the words in different situations.

1)peace: All the Chinese people love peace.

2)world: One world , one dream.

3)kangaroo: There are lots of kangaroos in Australia.

4) Encourage students to use different expressions to practice these new words.

Homework

1. Read and write the new words and Chinese meaning in your exercises books.

2. Pre-read the dialogues and passges in Unit 1 and 2.

Reflection

单词较少，所以我把相关的文化知识、句型知识补充进去，对但此进行拓展性学习，运用性练习。学生的积极性很高，能吸收很多信息，能说出很多不同的句子来。这在很大程度上锻炼了学生英语思维和口头表达能力。同时也为今晚的造句作业提供了信息来源。

2. Being able to read aloud fluently and emotionally.

3. Being able to retell the text.

 Teaching steps:

全册总备课

一.全册教材分析：

本学期是小学阶段最后一个学年的开始。六年级的英语学习将以语言知识的巩固和拓展为主，引导学生进入小学学段的复习准备。所以本教材的新单词远不如三、四、五年级多。在拓展方面，本教材介绍了美国的一些相关知识，有纽约、旧金山等著名城市，也有感恩节等外国节目，同时也介绍了长城、大熊猫等与中国相关的知识，让学生既放眼世界，又不忘祖国。

二.教学方法：

1．确定恰当的教学目标。我们在使用本教材时，不要要求学生一学习课文就能“自由地”说出课文的所有内容，甚至不要求学生能“自由地”朗读课文，因为教材中有很多内容只是呈现语言的语境内容，并不要求学生能够“读”。所以我们应根据教学建议来合理地确定教学要求，不宜要求学生掌握教材上的全部文字内容。

2．创造良好的学习氛围。

3．在课堂上尽量使用英语，适当使用汉语。

4．纠正学生的语言错误

5．利用录音带或cd-rom，有效使用现代教育技术

【教材分析】

语言功能：表达自己或他人没有某物。

语言结构：I haven’t got a book about America.

But I have got some photos of New York.

教学目标：

a.语言知识目标：学习目标语句 I haven’t got a book about America.

b.语言技能目标：能够听说读写本单元标题句；能运用所学语言表达自己或他人没有此物；但有彼物。并能运用到实际语言环境中。

c.情感态度目标：培养学生学习英语的兴趣，积极参与各项活动。

教学重、难点：

重点：I haven’t got a book about America. 并能在实际情景中运用。

难点：It starts/finishes at___

【学生分析】

学生在已学过 have got 的肯定句， 一般疑问句，并能做出肯定与否定回答。因此学习 have got 的否定句，只需告诉学生在 have 的后面加上not 就可以表达否定的意思了。教师应提示学生：have not=haven’t.考虑学生的习惯和兴趣，可让学生直接采用简写形式。

【设计理念】

教师要依据“学生能用英语做什么”的思想设计教学活动，计划采用“任务型”教学方式，让学生就本课所学句型：I haven’t got a book about America.

But I have got some photos of New York. 达到用英语完成各种真实的生活、学习等任务。将课堂教学的目标真实化、任务化，从而培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
