Have you ever thought about going to the most famous universities in the world like

Cambridge and Oxford University in England or Harvard and Yale University in America? It is

very good and also difficult for college students to study in these universities, because most of

them are always independent enough to pay for their education by themselves. Without the

help of their parents, how can college students pay for the high price of tuition(学费)? The

story about two students from Cambridge may give us a creative example.

These 22-year-old young British men, Ross Harper and Moss Moyse from Cambridge, set

up a website on which they sold their faces for advertisements(广告). Their idea, called Buy

My Face, is to rent(出租)their faces to companies every day. The companies paint their

advertisement on their faces. “It's our unconventional way to raise enough money to pay for

our college. No one else came up with such a creative idea as we did.” they said. So far, they

have made £47,000.

The goal of the website isn't only to get people to look at the advertisements that are

painted on their faces. Harper and Moyse also paint advertisements on their faces to

advertise themselves. They started on January 1st 2017. The first advertisement went for £1

a day. But now the price has moved up to £400 a day. However, they know that their success

won't be long-lived. And they plan to stop once they've made the money they need. “We don't

know how long it will last, but you can have some fun going through our website”. They have

a lot of nice pictures on the website.
