Unit 5 Wild animals重难点精讲This means “hope”.句中mean是动词，意思是“是...的意思”。

mean to do sth.的意思是“打算做某事”，或“想做某事”；mean doing sth.的意思是“意味着…”。

句中的drink是动词，意思是“喝”，也可以做名词讲，意为“饮料”。

face还有“面对，面朝”的意思。

情态动词may的用法。

表示许可或征求对方的许可，有“可以”的意思。

表示猜测，意思是“也许，可能”。

题九：翻译：你可以离开了。

我也许再也不会相信你了。

动词不定式做宾语当句中已经有谓语动词，而我们又要表达不止一个动作的概念时，其余的动词我们可以用非谓语动词来表达。

动词不定式就是一种非谓语形式，基本结构是：to+动词原形。

不定式在句中不作谓语，所以它没有人称，数和时态的变化。

不定式在句中常做谓语动词的宾语，常见的这一类谓语动词有：同意，选择，好像，决定，计划，准备，想要，学习，忘记等。

动词不定式的否定形式是：not to+动词原形。

我放学后想去游泳。

我妈妈同意给我买台新电脑。
