College Helps to Shape One’s Life

Class 5 College is a place where people can learn a lot. Not only can they gain academic knowledge but shape their life value and self-identity. During one’s college years, students can receive all kinds of education different from in high school for this is the time we learn how to be a exact human being whether we can participate into the society. Therefore college affects one’s life a lot.
First of all, instead of learning common theoretical knowledge in high school, people start to focus on one major. Thus there remains plenty of spare time for college students. Some students, for example, choose to enjoy themselves by loafing around or staying at dorm playing games online. In the mean time, other students determine to spend the time in library and endeavor to shape the morality. It is clear to see how these two kinds of students would be after graduating. Secondly, there are bunch of organizations and associations in college, say student union. Join in these we can get into touch with variety of different people and deal with different kinds things. It is like a mini-society which we affirm the way we relate to others, learning methods to solve difficulties. From some angle, it can determine what kind of life role you are going to play. Thirdly, college courses are more deeply than high school. It can not only train our way of thinking but provide creative mind. For instance, as an English major student, I have been reading lots of classical masterpieces. So that I can get lots of different pieces of great authors’mind which influence the angle I see about the world. Certainly it will affect me in my next life.
Above all, college has numbers of effects for our life. In another word, it helps us to shape our life. It is the college that makes us a real human being。
