一、形容词的概念
形容词：是修饰名词（人或事物），表示名 (adj.) 词的性质，特征或属性一种词类。 long, empty, cheap, hungry, etc. 它在句中作定语、表语和宾语补足语。 用来修饰动词、形容词、 其它副词、全句或名词词组及句子的词。 它在句中作状语。 very, early, out, soon, quickly, etc.

1) not more than+数词，“至多，不超过” 教室里最多有10个学生. There are not more than ten students in the classroom.

• 大多数形容词和副词有比较级和最高级 的变化，即原级、比较级和最高级，用 来表示事物的等级差别。原级即原形； 比较级是用于两者之间的比较；最高级 则用于三者或三者以上的比较。比较级 和最高级有规则变化和不规则变化两种。
• 如果在句子中提到了对比的双方，就必须在比 较级后面加上than;

（1）表示“等于”时用原级比较，常用句型as…as…，否定句中 用not so/as…as…

4.使用形容词比较级时 注意：
(1)在形容词比较级前可用much, even ,still ,a little Far, a lot来修饰，表示程度。
(2)可用“比较级形式+than any other +单数 名词来表达最高级的意思 He is taller than any other student in the school 。
