Why I Study English?All of my friends could ask me why I chose the major, because they know my favorite subject is not English, they all know I love history, they want to know why I chose to English not history.Why I study English? As we all know, as a high student, I study harder to prepare for college entrance examination, in order to study in a better college, and then get a better job and have a bright future. Why I chose English to learn, there are several reasons, in fact, the reasons are also simple.First of all, studying English can make me broad my eyes. Chinese is our mother tongue, but English is our second language. We can learn lots of knowledge by learning English, such as, political, economic cultural aspects and so on. We can learn many advantages about foreign countries, learn unique culture, learn more interesting things and learn more the world.Then, studying English can make me find a good job and have bright hope. This is real social reason. I firstly choseEnglish because I consider the situation of getting a job. Actually, I want to choose history, but I consider that I only can be a historic teacher after I graduate, and maybe it's not easy to find a job, finally, I give up choosing my favorite subject but choosing English. If I Study English, I can become an English teacher, I can also do another occupation, the extent of working is wide.Finally, studying English affects directly our life. Such as, before the reform and opening to the outside world, we nerve touched with any foreign countries, we didn't know what they do, what they are doing and what they are thinking, we lost touch with the world, we only live in our own world. However, after the reform and opening to the outside world, by studying English, we can make many friends, make lots of cooperation, and learn much new, modern and advanced information. Obviously, now people's life become better and better, people's dress change a lot, people's thought becomes open, people's life become colorful and meaningful.In a word, I chose to study English not for one reason, but for some different reasons. There are inner reasons andexternal factors, domestic and social factors, maybe other factors. I consider every aspect wherever they come from. I chose to study English; I can obtain information and learn which pushed me toward college. What's more, studying English in college school, I can learn knowledge, but also I can learn how to be a real person and how to live in the cruel world.Sometimes I can unsure whether I can be the best on the major, but I am sure I could try my best to study the major well during the college.My Experience with English Writing English writing is an important part in English, it plays a crucial role in our learning process of English, English writing is to English what organ is to people. So, if students want to study English well, they must overcome the difficulties of English writing; if students want to make English study well, English writing is a key part, and students should pay more attention to it. I study English writing according to the stage, now which is divided three stages.At first, I began to touch English in the middle school, so I began to study English writing. At that time, I couldn't organize the intact sentence or no grammatical mistakes' sentences. I couldn't write the high level of an article, I only wrote some simple words, sentences, paragraphs, such as the sentences of introduction and greeting. Although I can write an article, there are lots of mistakes on my English writing. Seriously speaking, I thought it was not English writing; it was only sentence I wrote freely. In the middle school, the writing has begun to take up the importantportion. In the first stage, the teacher asked us to imitate the sentences or paragraphs of the textbook to write, which can help us strengthen the feeling of writing.Then, the second stage, I began to touch further English writing in high school. I have experience for three years and formed certain concepts of English writing; I basically master plenty of words or phrases and grammar. I didn't know how to write just beginning, but now I know how to write an English writing. However, there are lots of stronger. If you want to go against another student, you must make you English over others. And we must enter the college entrance examination, the portion in the college entrance examination increase. So, you must study harder, you not only know how to write, but also know how to writer well. In this stage, the teacher asked us to write by ourselves and write more. Basically, we need to write an article once a week.Finally, the third stage, I touched English writing in the college school. I learned carefully, reciting lots of words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs, even reading more articles in English magazines and writing the report,recording beautiful sentences or paragraphs; sometimes, when I saw classmates' writing, if their writing is well, I could learn their advantages from their writing. When I was in trouble, I could ask questions to my teacher. The teacher asks us to write by our hearts, learn to feel life, read more and write more.By three stages, my English writing has reached a certain point. As we all know, English writing plays a key role in English, which is concentrated expression of English and reflects people's abilities of English. If you study English writing well, so you other parts of English (multiple-choice question, translation) can make great progress, your English will make a great grade. It is a good thing for students.In a conclusion, I think learning is a process from basic to complex, and apparent to essential. We firstly need to learn basic and apparent, and then learn the complex and essential. It's not only say English writing, but also life.。
