TIME医学原则是伤口处理中的一项重要原则，源于2000年美国学者提出，用于对伤口愈合过程中的组织、感染、渗液等方面建立系统性的管理，从而形成一种框架式的指引方案。
TIME原则包含四个方面：
T 指清除创面坏死组织（tissue），即去除没有活性的、已经失去功能的组织，为创面愈合创造良好的组织基础。
I 指控制炎症、减轻感染（infection/inflammation），通过控制炎症反应和感染，为创面愈合提供良好的环境。
M 指保持创面正常的湿度为肉芽组织生长和创面上皮化创造条件（moisture），保持创面适当的湿度有利于肉芽组织的生长和上皮细胞的增殖，促进创面愈合。
E 指去除创缘迁移受损的表皮（epidermis, nonmigrating），受损的表皮细胞会影响创面的愈合，因此需要去除。
