英语听⼒提⾼的⽅法和技巧

1.从头抓起,加强英语基本功训练

从学⽣刚学英语起就要抓听。在⼊门阶段,听说同步,听是为了说,⼀切信息的输⼊都应经过听的渠道,要通过听把⽂字活化为话语,在听的基础上模仿说,在说的过程中提⾼听的灵敏度。在提⾼听⼒的过程中,⾸先要加强英语基本功的训练。因此必须通过语⾳关,掌握必要的语⾳知识。

中国学⽣喜欢把句中每个单词的⾳都念出来,例如abouttwolittletigers中,abouttwo的正确发⾳按照爆破⾳的读⾳规则应是前⼀个“t”不读出⾳,只保留发⾳的⼝型,只发出“two”中的“t”的⾳,即abou(—)two.教授学⽣⼀定的不完全爆破规则,让学⽣反复练习,使学⽣逐步习惯于听⽐较纯正的英语。

连读是英美⼈说话的⼀个明显特点,有时候⼏个词连在⼀起读,不了解连读知识的⼈觉得句⼦念得快,分不清每个单词,造成理解上的困难,例如在tokeepushealthy⾥,keepus应连读,⽽不是简单地分读成两个单词。通过连续知识的讲授及学⽣的反复练习,逐步克服逐字念单词的习惯。

2.加强听⼒技巧的训练

听⼒课是以传授技能为主的⼀门课程。它教学的最终⽬的不是为了找出某个问题的正确答案,更重要的是让学⽣通过对句⼦的听辨弄清楚正确答案是如何得出来的,从⽽增强语⾔感觉,掌握听辨的⽅法与技巧。正如古⼈所说:“授⼈以鱼,莫若授⼈以渔。”这样,在今后遇到同样的问题时,就懂得如何去分析它,处理它。这是⼀种接受,记忆,分析与理解信号的技能,所以教师要让学⽣掌握解题技巧,并且加强学法指导。我认为应该在以下⼏个⽅⾯下功夫。

2.1狠抓基础知识

知识是能⼒的载体,要提⾼英语听⼒,必须要过语⾳关、词汇关、语法关。正确掌握语⾳、语调是提⾼英语听⼒的重要环节,要把各个⾳素发⾳要领记牢、念准确。如果发⾳不准,不仅⾃⼰说话别⼈听不懂,⽽且别⼈说话也难听清,所以掌握正确发⾳,对提⾼听⼒有很重要的作⽤。由于英语中同⾳异义和近⾳异义词很多,如果没有坚实的基本功做后盾,各种各样的同⾳词、近⾳词⼀起涌⼊脑海,搅得头脑乱轰轰的,就⽆法确定听到正确的内容。不论阅读,还是听⼒训练,都要以⼀定数量的词汇做基础。

2.2提前阅读,适度预测

研究表明,⼈在听⼒活动中的辨⾳能⼒和逻辑认定能⼒与⼼理上的定向准备状态有关。当能够预知即将听到的信息范围时,头脑中该范围之内的知识就⽆意识地被激活,这样有备⽽“听”,会有助于辨清和认准听⼒内容之前的关联程度。所以,准备的越好,听的效果就越好。因此,我们要求学⽣在放⾳之前,迅速阅读听⼒试卷内容,也就是提前阅读,对所有题型、选项有初步了解。提前阅读使听者做到⼼中有数,通过适度预测,从既定的⼏个选项中找到⼀个正确的选项。

听前预猜,打准备之仗。带着问题听录⾳,⽬的是让学⽣对所要听的内容有⼀个初步印象与⼤概了解。⼩学英语听⼒训练题型⼀般为图⽚理解和短⽂阅读理解。在教学中应抓住两点:

(1)根据图⽚进⾏预猜。听前,先让学⽣根据图⽚进⾏预猜,不但能激起学⽣学习的兴趣,调动学⽣的学习积极性和主动性。

(2)根据所提供材料后的练习进⾏预猜。这种⽅法最适⽤于短⽂的阅读理解。短⽂的阅读理解是⼩学英语听⼒训练中综合性、学⽣最感头痛的⼀道题型。对于这种题型,我认为应教给学⽣⼀个⽅法:在听短⽂前,先抓紧时间把要答的问题和要判断的内容看⼀遍,对⽂章的时间、地点、⼈物、情节等有个⼤致的理解,掌握⼀些有关的听⼒材料的线索,就能更准确地进⾏猜测。通过⼀系列的联想预猜活动,学⽣们对许多内容做到未听先知。当听这篇材料时,就会感到容易得多,从⽽减轻紧张情绪。

2.3加强解题技巧的训练和指导

捕捉关键词,抓主题句、信号词。主题句常出现在段落的开头或结尾,太重视细节信息会忽略对⽂章整体的理解。⽂中的关键词即实词,如Thereisacatinthebox中,cat和box即是实词。在听的过程中抓住关键词,往往给你提供必要的信息。教会学⽣如何抓主题句、关键词是提⾼听⼒技能的重要途径。

(1)主题句。听对话时,要求学⽣注意听短⽂的⾸句和结尾句,⽂章的开头往往是对短⽂内容的概括,如⼈物、故事发⽣的时间、地点及事由等。

(2)关键词。注意捕捉⽂中所涉及的⼈物(who)、事件(what)、时间(when)、地点(where)、原因(why)、⽅式(how)、程度(howlong,howmuch)、数字(howmany/howmuch)、选择(which.)等,抓住关键词有利于对句⼦的理解。
