Social Network,a platform for thinking

In 2005, when I was in Grade Eight, I often saw my cousin sitting in front of the computer

with her fingers flicking on the keyboard . "I am chatting with my friends on QQ!" When she sent

a message, responses from her friends would appear on the small window just in a second! "That's

incredible!" I thought then. Soon I got my own QQ number and started my incredible and

wonderful journey with it.

I share with my best girl friends about their happiness and sorrows, keep in touch with my

former classmates, download important studying materials given by my teachers , look through

the latest news in our country and across the world......it has been an indispensable part of my life .

What I've experienced with QQ is just a microcosm of the great advantages of social network

have offered us. With the widespread of social network in recent years, an increasing number of

people now have an convenient access to it. Wherever we are today, we can always see people

chatting on the Internet or looking through their micro blogs .

As social network is becoming more multifunctional , we are also getting a better experience

with it. Nowadays, social network is no longer a space just for friends-making and connection.It

has become a useful platform for all its users to open their eyes and express their ideas, a quick

approach to know what's happening in our society. Everything spreads so fast on social network

that less wickedness can be hidden , more grievances are being revealed and more touching stories

become public . We are able to get various knowledge thus improving ourselves as well as our life

quality; we can freely express ideas on political hot spots and economic issues thus government

leaders will have a better understanding of the will of people;we are provided with the opportunity

to access to a wider range of social reality thus understanding the state of others' life as well as the

community we are living in better.

Ladies and gentlemen,social network ,in my opinion, not only promote communication

between people but also create an dynamic and democratic platform for us to think and to

express.that is just what our society need .I believe with this platform, we will become more

independent in spirit and more responsible for our society.

Any Internet conscious person may find an increasing number of people, including

numerous college students, are taking social networking as a crucial means of communicating

with their friends. They spend much time keeping their social networking profiles updated

In today's digital age, cyberbullying has become an increasingly serious problem.

I firmly believe that cyberbullying is completely unacceptable and should be stopped

immediately.

I once heard about a classmate in school who was the victim of cyberbullying.

This poor kid was constantly harassed and insulted online by some anonymous

people. It was so heartbreaking to see how much pain and distress this caused him.

His confidence was shattered, and he became withdrawn and sad. I really felt sorry

for him. 😢

I also remember witnessing an incident of cyberbullying on social media. It

made me feel angry and helpless. 😢 Why do people think it's okay to be so mean to

others behind the screen?

Cyberbullying can have extremely harmful consequences. It can damage a

person's mental health, leading to depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. It
