小学五年关于跳舞的英语作文60词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dancing is My Favorite Thing!I absolutely love dancing! It's my favorite activity and I could do it all day if my parents would let me. Dancing just makes me so happy and energetic. Whenever I hear music, my body starts moving and grooving on its own! I can't help but dance. My dance journey started when I was just a tiny little kid. My mom said I used to bop around to music from the moment I could walk and talk. She'd turn on some tunes and I would instantly start shaking my little booty! My parents thought it was the cutest thing. When I was in kindergarten, my mom signed me up for dance classes. I was so excited to finally learn some real dance moves instead of just making them up on my own. My first dance class was ballet. I loved putting on my little pink leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. I felt just like a ballerina!Ballet was a lot harder than I expected though. My ballet teacher, Miss Stephanie, was very strict. She made us practice the same moves over and over until we got them perfect. The hardest part was staying on my tippy toes for the relevés. My calves would start burning so badly! But I never gave up because I loved twirling and leaping across the dance studio. After a few years of ballet, I decided to try other dance styles too. I took jazz, tap, hip hop, and even tried Irish dancing for a little while. Each style was so different and fun. Tap was probably my favorite because I loved making rhythm with my feet. My mom joked that our house always sounded like a construction site with all my tapping! These days, my absolute favorite type of dance is hip hop. I'm obsessed with watching hip hop dance videos online and trying to learn the moves. Last year for my birthday, my parents got me private hip hop dance lessons. My teacher, Miss Lauren, is only 18 years old but she's an incredible dancer. She's taught me so many cool moves likes waving, tutting, and krumping. I practice those styles every single day.My biggest dream is to be a professional dancer when I grow up. I want to tour with famous singers and dancers and perform on huge stages in front of thousands of people. Maybe I couldeven be in music videos! I know it won't be easy though. Dancers have to train extremely hard every single day. Their bodies have to be strong, flexible, and have crazy stamina. I'm working on all of those things now so I'll be ready.Dancing has given me so much confidence too. At first, I was a really shy kid who never wanted to be in front of people. But dancing on stage at all my recitals got me comfortable being in the spotlight. Now I'm actually kind of a ham and I love performing for people! I'm not afraid to just let loose and dance anywhere - at home, at school, at the grocery store. You name it, I'll dance there!I've made so many good friends through dancing too. Almost all of my best buddies are my dance classmates. We've been dancing together for years so we've gotten really close. It's awesome having friends who share my biggest passion. We always dance and goof off together. When I'm dancing, I feel free and happy. Nothing else matters except moving my body to the beat. It's my favorite way to let loose and have fun. If I'm ever feeling sad or stressed out, dancing always cheers me up. It's like a little escape from everything else in my life.I have so many amazing memories from dancing already, even though I'm just a kid. Like the time I dressed up as a dancing hotdog for Halloween and danced down the street. Or when I finally nailed my double pirouette after working on it forever. Or last year when I got the Dancers Pick award at my recital for my jazz solo.I honestly can't picture my life without dance. It makes me smile every single day! I'm sure I'll have many more dance adventures and accomplishments in the future too. My goal is to just never stop dancing - I want to be an elderly lady still shaking it on the dance floor! As long as the music is playing, you'll find me out there dancing.篇2Dancing Makes Me Happy!I love dancing more than anything! It always puts a big smile on my face and makes me feel free and joyful. Dancing lets me express myself in a special way that words can't quite capture. My favorite dance style is hip hop because of the cool moves and awesome music videos. I dream of being in one of those videos some day, doing flips and spins and looking totally awesome. My friends and I often have dance-offs at recess to seewho has the sickest moves. We take it pretty seriously, but we're just messing around and having fun.I also really enjoy ballet because of how graceful and beautiful it is. I took ballet lessons for a few years when I was younger. I loved getting all dressed up in the leotard and tights and slippers. It made me feel so elegant and proper. The barre exercises were challenging but satisfying when I could do them perfectly. Pliés, relevés, and arabesques were my favorite moves.I had to stop going because it got too expensive, but I'll always have fond memories of those classes. One of my dreams is to be on a TV dance competition show for kids. I've watched pretty much every episode of every dance reality show. I know all the judges and choreographers by name.I even practice the routines sometimes when I'm home alone! I think I'd do really well because I'm a fast learner and super dedicated when it comes to dancing. Plus, I've got great rhythm and can pick up choreography quickly. My mom says I was born to be a dancer. At my last birthday party, we had a dance party in our basement with flashing lights and everything. That was the best part for sure! We jumped around wildly with glow sticks and had a contest for who could do the robot the best. I was thechampion, obviously. Sometimes my little sister and I have living room dance parties when our parents aren't home. We crank up the music and just go nuts, dancing like crazy people. It's awesome!Dancing is a huge part of my life and identity. When I'm dancing, everything else melts away and I'm just totally present in the moment. All my worries disappear and I feel completely free. The music takes over my body and I get lost in the rhythm. It's like meditation for me - a way to block out the noise of everyday life and just be.I can't imagine my life without dancing. It brings me so much joy and self-confidence. Even when I'm having a rotten day, dancing always cheers me up. It's like my secret weapon against sadness or stress. Just putting on some fun music and improvising goofy moves alone in my room is enough to lift my spirits. In the future, I hope to be a professional dancer or at least have a dance-related career. Maybe I'll choreograph music videos or be a dance instructor somewhere. As long as I'm surrounded by music and movement, I'll be happy. Some kids want to be doctors, lawyers, or astronauts when they grow up. Not me - I just want to dance!I've made so many awesome memories from all my dance experiences so far. Performing at the school talent show, dancing with my friends at parties, and just messing around at home have all been highlights. Dancing brings me pure happiness and makes me feel empowered. Like I can accomplish anything and overcome any obstacle. As long as I have dancing in my life, I'll be alright. So yeah, I'm pretty much obsessed with dancing. It's my favorite thing in the whole world! Anytime I hear a good song, my body just starts naturally moving to the beat. Dancing is truly my passion and biggest source of joy. I'll never stop bustin' a move!篇3Dancing is My Favorite ThingI absolutely love dancing! It's my favorite activity and I can't get enough of it. Ever since I was a tiny kid, I've been drawn to music and movement. Whenever a song comes on, my body just has to start grooving to the beat.My dance journey started when I was three years old and my mom signed me up for ballet lessons. I remember being so excited to get my first leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Theballet studio had huge mirrors along one wall and a wooden barre along the other. It smelled like sweat and dedication. At first, the plies and tendus were really hard. My legs shook like crazy just trying to keep my heels on the ground in first position. But I kept practicing and didn't give up. Little by little, the steps got easier and I could do things like chaines turns across the floor without falling over. After a few years of ballet, I decided to try other dance styles too. Tap was super fun - I loved the rhythmic challenges and the sounds my taps made on the floor. Hip hop was my favorite for a while with all the isolations, freezes, and tricks. One of the coolest moves I learned was the windmill, spinning around on my back. These days, I'm really into contemporary dance. I like how it blends techniques from various styles and lets you improvise with emotions. In contemporary, you get to use breath and momentum in new, expressive ways. My favorite contemporary piece has us dancing to a haunting vocal track, portraying people trapped in their own minds.Dance has given me so much confidence and joy over the years. Sure, there have been frustrations when I just couldn't quite nail a step. And I've had my fair share of blisters, soremuscles, and even a few injuries from pushing too hard. But it's all been worth it to experience the freedom and bliss of dancing.I'll never forget my first time performing on a real stage under the bright lights. My heart was pounding like crazy as the music started. But as soon as I made that first move, everything else melted away. I was just me, the music, and the choreography. For those few glorious minutes, nothing else in the world mattered. Some people don't really get dance and think it's just flailing around randomly. But for me, it's an art form that channels human expression through every muscle, line, and movement. Dance has a way of communicating stories, emotions, and ideas that words alone can't capture.Dancing with my studio mates is the best - we're like one big family who supports and pushes each other. At competitions, we cheer louder than anyone for our teammates. We motivate each other through the toughest rehearsals too. My dance buds are truly my second family. In class, we work insanely hard perfecting every detail of choreography. Our teachers are strict but encouraging, never letting us settle for less than our best. I've had to do the same combination over and over until I thought my legs might fall off!But that grit has made me so strong, flexible, andself-disciplined.My biggest dream is to become a professional dancer one day. Maybe I'll tour with a contemporary dance company, or end up in music videos and on Broadway. No matter what though, I know dance will always be a driving force in my life. It's not just an activity - it's my passion, my art, my release. When I dance, I feel ethereal yet grounded, elegant yet raw. Simply put, dance makes me come alive. To me, the stage is a sacred space where dance allows you to transcend the ordinary. When the lights beam down and the music swells, everything becomes possible through movement. Dance has the power to make humans soar, if only for a sublime moment suspended in rhythm and strength. That's the magic I hope to one day bring to millions.篇4Dancing is My Favorite Thing Ever!I just love dancing so much! It's my total favorite activity in the whole wide world. Whenever I hear a good song playing, I can't help but start moving my body and grooving to the beat. My mom says I've been dancing since before I could even walk -she would put on music and I would start wiggling around in my crib like a little gummy worm. There are so many great reasons why dancing is the best. First off, it's a super fun way to get exercise without it feeling like actual exercise. I mean, who wants to run on a treadmill or lift boring weights when you can shake your booty and get your heart pumping to an awesome playlist? Not me! Dancing keeps me healthy and energized.Another reason dancing rocks is because it lets me express myself in a creative way. I'm not the best at drawing or painting, but when the music starts playing, I can pour out all my emotions through movement. If a song makes me feel happy and bouncy, my dance moves get jumpy and silly. Slower, sadder songs help me move with grace and emotion. It's like dancing translates my feelings into physical art! Then there's the social side of dancing that I love. At school dances, parties, or anywhere there are fun tunes, I can bust out my slickest moves and dance with my friends. We goof around, make up silly choreography, and just let loose together. It's a blast! Dancing brings people together through the shared language of music and rhythm. My best friend Jasmine and Ieven made up a secret handshake/dance move combo that's just for us.Speaking of choreography, putting together a dance routine is another awesome part of dancing. I'm in my school's dance club, and a few times a year we get to make up a group dance to perform at the talent show or school assembly. It's so satisfying to choreograph cool moves that flow together, rehearse them over and over, and nail the perfect synchronization for the big show. I'm a total perfectionist about it - my dance teammates joke that I'm the"routine drill sergeant!" But I just want us to look as beautifully coordinated as the dance crews on TV shows. In those TV competitions, the dancers are so talented that their performances tell whole storylines just through motion. That's my biggest dream and goal - to become an incredible dancer whose movements can evoke emotions and transports audiences to different worlds just by watching. I live for the magic of expressing narratives and feelings through the art of dance. It's so powerful how dance can make you experience a character's joy, heartbreak, triumph, or any other journey they're meant to be portraying. Some people assume dancing is just a hobby or recreational activity, but I think it's so much more than that. To me, it's a passion, an art form, a way of life! I spend hours watching dance videos online, taking any dance classes I can, and of course freestyle dancing anywhere there's space. My parents actually hired a dance instructor tocome to our house twice a week to give me private lessons. That's been hugely helpful for improving my technique in styles like ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary.I have pretty much every square inch of my bedroom walls covered in dance posters and photos of famous dancers, dance teams, ballet productions and music videos featuring insane choreography. My ultimate icons are incredible dancers like Misty Copeland, Maddie Ziegler, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, and the mind-blowing crews from shows like World of Dance. I study their routines and movements like they're ancient historical artifacts, trying to learn and absorb every intricate detail. My friends think I'm a little overboard with my dance obsession, but they don't even know the half of it. In my dream future, I'll join an elite professional dance company or crew and get to perform full storytelling dance productions on huge stages for arenas of fans. Or maybe I'll make it as achoreographer and music video dance director forTop artists. Or both - why not achieve every dance dream possible? No matter what, dancing will always be number one in my life. It's my safe happy place, my way of expressing my true self, and my favorite language to speak through movement. I honestly can't imagine a day going by without dancing for at least a few minutes. When I hear a sick beat, my body just wants to groove and let the rhythm flow through me. Dancing makes me feel free, powerful, and alive in a way that nothing else can.So yeah, I'm pretty much obsessed and I don't care who knows it! I'm proud to be the kid who's always busting out random dance moves in the hallways between classes. I'm going to be a dancing fool forever, and hopefully spend the rest of my life making a career out of this incredible art and pure joy that is DANCE. Nothing else comes even close to making me feel as happy, energized and myself as dancing does. It's simply the best!篇5My Love for DancingDancing has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a tiny little kid, I've been drawn tomusic and movement. Whenever I'd hear a song playing, whether it was on the radio or my mom's old CD player, I couldn't help but start bopping around and shaking my body to the rhythm. My parents thought it was absolutely adorable how much I loved to dance. They'd laugh and clap for me whenever I put on an impromptu dance show in our living room. Sometimes my dad would even grab my hands and spin me around as we danced together. Those are some of my happiest childhood memories. When I started elementary school, I was over the moon to find out they offered dance classes as an after-school activity. I begged my mom to sign me up right away. She didn't need much convincing - she was thrilled that I had discovered a passion at such a young age. Those dance classes were the highlight of my week. I loved learning all the different styles - ballet, jazz, hip hop, you name it. The teachers made it so fun with all the cool music and choreography. And I made some of my best friends in those classes who shared my love for dancing. One of my favorite memories was when we did a big dance recital at the end of the year. We had been rehearsing theseelaborate routines for months. When the night finally came, I was a bundle of nerves and excitement. But the second I stepped out on that stage and the music started playing, all my jitters melted away. Dancing on that stage felt like pure magic. As I've gotten older, dancing has only become more important to me. It's my main creative outlet and a way to stay active and fit. But most of all, it brings me such joy. Whenever I'm feeling down or stressed out, I put on some music and just let my body move freely. It never fails to lift my spirits. In middle school now, I'm part of the dance team which is incredible. We get to perform at pep rallies, basketball games, and competitions. It's so amazing to be part of a tight-knit team, all working together to create something beautiful through dance. My ultimate dream is to become a professional dancer one day. Maybe I'll be in music videos, on tour with a big pop star, or end up on a TV dance competition show. I'm going to keep working harder than ever in dance class and giving it my full passion and dedication.Who knows, you might just see me up on that stage at the Grammys or on Broadway someday! People may think I'm getting ahead of myself since I'm still just a kid. But I really dobelieve that if you have a dream and pour your heart into it, anything is possible. Dancing makes me happier than anything else in the world. With that kind of drive and love for my craft, how could I not succeed? So yeah, that's my story - just a regular fifth grade kid who can't get enough of dancing. To all my fellow dancers out there, keep working hard and chasing those dreams! And to anyone who hasn't yet discovered the magic of dance, I highly recommend giving it a try. Get out on that dance floor and let the music move you. Dancing will change your life!篇6Dancing Makes Me HappyI love to dance! Dancing is my absolute favorite thing to do. Whenever I hear music, my body just wants to move and groove along with the beat. Dancing makes me feel so happy and free.I started dancing when I was just a little kid. My mom put me in ballet classes when I was 3 years old. I remember having to wear a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. At first, I didn't really like ballet very much. I had to stand up super straight and pointed my toes out. The ballet teacher was very strict and would make us do the same things over and over again until we gotthem right. But after a while, I started to enjoy the gracefulness of ballet and mastering the different moves. When I was 5, I started taking jazz dance classes too. Jazz was a lot more fun and upbeat than ballet. We got to do turns and leaps across the floor. The music was more modern and had a driving rhythm. My favorite part was doing the jazz walks where we had to strut across the room. I felt so cool and confident. In third grade, I joined my school's dance team. We performed hip hop routines at all the basketball games and school events. Hip hop was totally different than ballet or jazz. The moves were harder, with lots of popping, locking, and breaking. I had to practice so much to get the footwork and frozen movements down pat. But it looked so awesome when we all danced together in perfect synchronization.Last year, I started taking tap lessons. I love the sounds the metal taps on my shoes make when they hit the floor. It's like I'm making rhythmic music with my feet. Tapping is really fast and technical, maybe even harder than hip hop in some ways. But once I get a tap combination down, it feels like I'm doing a precise, percussive dance. My dream is to try all different styles of dance - contemporary, lyrical, ballroom, Bollywood, you name it! Dancing lets me express myself in a unique way with my body. When I dance, I can convey different emotions through my movements and facials expressions. If I'm dancing to an angry song, my motions are sharper and more aggressive. For a sad song, my movements are fluid and flowy. An upbeat, happy song makes me dance with lots of energy and smiles.Dancing is also amazing exercise. I work up a major sweat at every dance class and it keeps me in great shape. My muscles are really toned from all the jumping, turning, and putting my body into crazy bent positions. Sometimes my muscles are sore after an intense class, but it's a good kind of sore that lets me know I worked hard. One of the biggest challenges of dancing is memorizing all the steps and choreography for each routine. Our dances are never simple - there are countless moves and sequences to remember in the proper order. Having to recall steps precisely while also worrying about dancing with the right technique, energy, and expression is really difficult. I have had to practice the same routine over and over at home until it is permanently committed to muscle memory.Performing on stage is extremely nerve-wracking but also thrilling. Right before I go on, I feel a mix of anticipation, excitement, and anxiety. What if I forget the choreography or make a mistake? But as soon as the music starts, any fears disappear. When I'm on stage, I get to leave all my worries and inhibitions behind. I just lose myself in the music and let my body do what it has prepared so hard for. There's also nothing better than the feeling of totally nailing a performance. When I execute every move perfectly in time with the music and make all the choreography look effortless, I feel purely joy and pride. The applause and cheers from the audience make all the long hours of rehearsal worth it. Getting to share the art of dance with others is an amazing feeling.Even though dance requires immense physical and mental effort, it energizes me like nothing else. I often come home from dance class feeling more awake and alive than when I started. Dancing boosts my confidence, focus, discipline and creativity. It has taught me to appreciate the art form as well as the athletic ability it takes to dance at a high level. So while many people see dance as just for fun, to me it is a passion, an art, and a way of life. I eat, sleep, and breathe dance. I dance when I'm getting ready in the morning, when I'm boreddoing chores, even when I'm just walking down the street. Dance has become as natural to me as breathing. It lets me express myself, stay active, and brings me pure joy. I honestly can't imagine my life without dance. I hope I get to dance forever, maybe even professionally one day. Either way, dance will always be a part of who I am.。

中国人的肢体语言和习俗的英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Chinese People and Their Funny WaysDid you know that Chinese people are really funny? I'm not talking about telling jokes or being silly. I mean the way they move their bodies and do special things is really interesting and different from what we do here. Let me tell you about some of the funny things Chinese people do!One really funny thing is the way old Chinese people dance in the parks in the morning. They wave their arms around and kick their legs up high. It looks like a weird type of exercise mixed with dancing. My mom says it's called "shadow boxing" and helps keep them healthy as they get older. I think it just looks funny to see a bunch of grandpas and grandmas waving their arms around like that.Another funny thing is how Chinese people greet each other. Instead of shaking hands or giving a high five, they put their hands together like they are praying and kind of nod their head. My dad says it's called a "gong shou" greeting and is a sign ofrespect. But it still looks silly to me! We just say "Hi" where I'm from.Chinese people are also really funny with how they eat food. Did you know they use these stick things called chopsticks instead of forks and spoons? It must be really hard because the chopsticks are so skinny. I tried using them once and my noodles kept dropping on the table! I'll stick to forks thank you very much. And you won't believe what some Chinese people do at weddings! The bride has to get dressed up and then gets carried to the ceremony in this fancy box thing called a "sedan chair." It's like a little room that men carry on poles. How weird is that? I'm just glad I can walk down the aisle at a wedding and not get carried in a box.I think one of the funniest things though is this special holiday they have called the "Ghost Festival." No, it's not about real ghosts! It's where they burn fake money and food so that their ancestor's spirits can use it in the afterlife. They even burn paper houses, cars, and TVs! I don't know why ghosts would need TVs, but I guess it's the thought that counts.Another thing that makes me laugh is how some Chinese people try to scare away bad luck and evil spirits. They light offthese really loud firecrackers, bang drums and gongs, and do special dances with dragon costumes. It's like a big, noisy party just to shoo away any bad ghosts or spirits hanging around. Talk about going overboard! But you know what I find the most hilarious of all? It's this game they play every year to celebrate the New Year called "Hot Wok Cookin'." Get this - they throw all these ingredients into a big wok and then add tons of spices and a raw egg. Then people take turns trying to catch and scoop out the ingredients with these tiny little tongs! What a crazy and silly thing to do. If you ask me, it just sounds like a big ol' gooey mess.So yeah, Chinese people sure do have some funny customs and ways of doing things. From the way they eat, to how they celebrate holidays, to even just saying hello - it all seems pretty wacky to me. But I guess that's just part of their culture and traditions passed down over many years.Even though their habits seem odd and amusing to me, I actually think it's really cool how Chinese people keep up these ancient customs in the modern world. It shows they are proud of their roots and history. And who knows, maybe some of the goofy things we do would seem just as funny and bizarre to them! Different cultures just have different ways of doing stuff. At the end of the day, the little quirks and traditions are what makes every culture unique and special in its own way. As funny as some of the Chinese customs might seem, it's important to respect them just like we'd want others to respect our ways too. Because even if it looks silly on the outside, stuff like that is meaningful to the people practicing it.So the next time I see a group of old folks twirling their arms around in the park, or someone greeting me with those funny hand motions, I'll try not to giggle too much. I'll remember that it's all part of their fascinating Chinese culture and traditions - no matter how amusing it might look!篇2Chinese Body Language and CustomsHi everyone! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm going to tell you all about the cool body language and customs we have in China. It's really interesting and different from other countries, so listen up!First, let's talk about greeting people. In China, we don't shake hands or hug like in some other countries. Instead, we put our hands together and slightly bow our heads. We call this a'gong shou' which means 'respectful salutation'. It's how wegreet our elders, teachers and people we really respect. With friends, we might just nod our heads or wave.Another big part of Chinese body language is about saving face. Saving face means not embarrassing or disrespecting someone in public. It's really important in China. That's why we try not to openly criticize people, argue loudly or point fingers at them. That would make them 'lose face' which is very rude. When we're talking to someone older or in a higher position than us, we have to show respect through our body language. We keep our arms by our sides, don't fidget too much, and avoid casual postures like putting our hands in pockets. It shows we're being polite and deferential. In China, eye contact is very meaningful too. Looking directly into someone's eyes for a long time, especially with people you don't know well, can seem intense or even rude. We tend to avoid long eye contact unless we're trying to signal something important. But if we're talking normally, looking away briefly is just being courteous.Touching is another big difference. We don't really touch friends of the same gender that much, let alone people of the opposite gender who aren't family. A friendly pat on the back is ok for good friends, but no big hugs or cuddles. That would beinappropriate. Even sitting or standing too close can make people uncomfortable if you don't know them well. Our hands and gestures are quite symbolic too. Beckoning someone with your palms down and fingers waving vertically is very rude - it's how you'd call animals! You should beckon with your palm up. And we count numbers on our palms, not with our fingers pointed out. Pointing at people with a single finger is also impolite.Food customs are really unique too. At a Chinese dining table, you'll see lots of shared dishes in the middle that everyone takes food from. Taking food just for yourself without offering it around first is bad manners. And you're supposed to try a bit of everything as a compliment to the chef. When you're eating, you'll notice Chinese people make louder noises like slurping soups or noodles. This might seem rude in other countries, but in China it actually shows you're enjoying the food! Just don't talk with your mouth full or chew with an open mouth. That's still impolite. After eating, it's customary to tap the table with your knuckles as a gesture to say you're full and thank the host. Most foods are eaten with chopsticks too. If you're at a casual meal, you can pickup the bowl close to your mouth to get the last bites. But at fancier meals, you shouldn't lift up bowls or plates. So those are some of the main ways Chinese body language and customs are different. We have lots of unique habits around greetings, eye contact, personal space, hand gestures and dining etiquette. It all stems from ancient ideas about respect, hierarchies and saving face. Some of it might seem odd to outsiders at first, but it's just our way of being courteous and keeping social harmony. Once you understand the reasons behind it, Chinese body language actually makes a lot of sense! It's one of the things that makes our culture so rich and fascinating.篇3What's Up With How Chinese People Move and Do Things? You know how people in different countries sometimes do things a little differently? Well, let me tell you about some of the weird ways Chinese people move their bodies and act! It's not weird to them, of course, but it might seem strange if you're not used to it.First up, let's talk about how Chinese people nod their heads. In a lot of other places, nodding your head up and down means"yes" and shaking it side to side means "no." But in China, it's the total opposite! Shaking your head is how you say yes, and nodding is how you say no. Wild, right? My teacher said it comes from the Chinese words for yes (tài) and no (bú), where the tongue sticks out a little for "yes" and stays inside the mouth for "no." So the head motions kind of match the tongue movements. I still mix it up sometimes though!Another funny thing is how Chinese people might point with their lips instead of their fingers. If they want you to look at something, they'll purse their lips and kind of jut them out in that direction. Using your finger to point is considered rude. My dad says it's because fingers used to be used for things like picking noses back in the day, so lips are cleaner. Gross!Speaking of fingers, did you know the middle finger doesn't mean anything rude in China? Yeah, sticking it up gets you in big trouble in a lot of places, but not there. Instead, sticking your tongue out or making a mouth fart noise is how you'd insult someone. My grandma nearly fainted when I stuck my tongue out at her as a joke!Hand gestures are different too. Like if a Chinese person wants you to come over, they'll wave their hand with the palmfacing down instead of palms facing up or just beckoning with their finger. And they'll use the back of their hand to point at people instead of pointing straight at them with a finger.A really important one is how you're supposed to use both hands when giving something to someone older than you, like a teacher or grandparent. It's disrespectful to just hand it to them with one hand. You gotta use both hands or they might get offended.Oh, and you can't just hand things to people over a table or counter either. You're supposed to set it down and let them take it themselves. My uncle tried handing my aunt her coffee across the table once and she wouldn't take it until he set it down in front of her. So silly!Feet are a big deal too. You're never supposed to stick your feet out towards people or step over them if they're sitting. That's pretty rude. And you definitely can't put your feet up on furniture or tables. My baby cousin tried to put her feet on the coffee table once and my grandma nearly fainted again! There's all sorts of other little quirks too, like:Slurping your food is okay and even shows you're enjoying itLetting a burp or fart slip out isn't too big of a dealYou're supposed to take your shoes off at the door when going into someone's homeClicking your tongue is rudeWhistling at night is bad luckAnd a bunch more!I could go on and on. The point is, the way Chinese people move and act is just different from a lot of other places. It doesn't make it better or worse, just different. I think it's fun to learn about though! So next time you're around Chinese people, watch how they use their bodies. You might see some head shakes for "yes," lips pointing instead of fingers, or have to set something down instead of handing it over. And whatever you do, don't stick out your tongue unless you want to start an international incident!篇4Chinese People's Body Language and CustomsHi, my name is Li Ming and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you about some of the interesting body language and customs in China that my parents and grandparents have taught me. Get ready to learn some cool stuff! One of the first things I noticed when I was little is how we greet each other differently than in other countries. In the US and Europe, people often shake hands or hug. But in China, we greet others with a slight bow, especially to elders and teachers. My grandma always reminds me to greet her by putting my hands together and bowing a little bit as a sign of respect.Another funny thing is how we Chinese people use our fingers to point at things. We don't point with one finger like Americans do. Instead, we point with our whole hand facing palm down. My dad says it's rude to point at someone with one finger, kind of like giving them the middle finger by accident! We also count with our fingers differently - we start counting from the thumb instead of the index finger. Isn't that cool? When it comes to eating, we have tons of customs too. For example, you're supposed to try every dish on the table by taking a little from each plate. That way you show you enjoy all the different foods. And if you're eating with elders, you should let them start first before digging in. Also, we don't eat everything with chopsticks - sometimes we use spoons for soup or rice.Speaking of chopsticks, using them properly is a whole skill on its own! My grandpa spent years teaching me not to cross mychopsticks, not to stick them straight up in the rice, and not to point them at people. Those are actually Chinese taboos related to chopsticks and meals. We also slurp our noodles loudly - it shows we're enjoying the food!Family is huge in Chinese culture too. We often live in multi-generational households with grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles all under one roof. The parents have to take care of their own parents as they get older. And the oldest son and his family tend to live with the grandparents. We put a lot of importance on honoring and respecting our elders. For example, we call our uncles, aunts, grandpas, and grandmas very specific titles like "gushu", "ayi", "nainai", etc. We would never call them just by their names, as that's considered disrespectful. Also, we always let the oldest relatives get the prime seat at the table or on the couch. It's our way of showing them honor.Chinese people also make a lot of hand gestures and signals using body language. We might use a handwave to dismiss something or say "no big deal." Or we'll make a cupping gesture with our palm to say "give it to me." These little gestures are used everywhere, from dinner tables to busy streets.Maybe the hardest one for foreigners is the constantchin-pointing we do in China! We point with our chins to indicate directions or draw attention to people and things. I do it all the time without even realizing it. My foreign friends say it's so funny and confusing at first. Those are some of the coolest body languages and customs I've learned so far about being Chinese. Do they seem strange or interesting to you? I think a lot of them exist because we have thousands of years of traditions. But I really love being part of such an ancient, rich culture.I can't wait to learn even more unique customs as I get older! If you ever visit China, you'll have to try greeting elders with a slight bow, using chopsticks properly, and maybe even pointing with your chin. It's all part of the awesome Chinese experience. Thanks for reading!篇5Chinese People Have Lots of Fun Gestures and TraditionsHi, my name is Little Wang and I'm going to tell you about some of the super cool gestures and customs that Chinese people like me use. We have a bunch of different ways wecommunicate with our hands and bodies that might seem strange if you're not from China! One really funny gesture is called "gān gān" which means "dry". We make this gesture by scratching the back of our hands with our fingers. It looks like we're itchy or something! But actually, we use it when we can't afford to pay for something. Like if someone asks me for a treat and my mom isn't around, I do the gān gān gesture to say "Sorry dude, I'm broke!"Another hand ges ture we use is called "zuǐ bā" which means "mouth beside". For this one, we put one hand beside our mouth and wave the other hand, kind of like we're whispering a secret. In China, we do this when we want to make fun of someone who is saying silly or untrue things. If my friend tells a ridiculous story, I might do the zuǐ bā behind his back to show I don't believe him!Lots of Chinese gestures use our fingers too. One I see all the time is when someone curls their index finger towards themselves repeatedly. This means "Come here!" We use this a lot to call family members or friends over when we need them. My grandma does it to me all the time when she wants me to come eat my dinner. If someone sticks their thumb out from a fist, that means "Well done!" or "Great job!" We do this to congratulate people, like if I get a good grade on a test my dad will give me the thumbs up gesture. Another thumbs gesture is pressing your thumbs together to say "Take your time" or "Slow down." My teacher does this to me sometimes when I get too excited during class! One of the silliest Chinese gestures is making a crosses with your index fingers. We call this doing the "poor ghost sign." It means you're broke or cheap! My uncle does this to my aunt all the time when she doesn't want to spend money on something fun.We also have some gestures that use the nose or ears. If you stick your tongue out and point to your nose, it means "I smell something stinky!" I do that sometimes in the cafeteria when the lunch isn't very good. And if you cup your hand behind your ear, it means "Sorry, I didn't hear you." Old people do that a lot when their hearing isn't so great anymore. Those are just some of the fun hand gestures we use in China. We also have a bunch of cool traditions and customs that might seem weird if you're not from here! One of my favorite customs is the Lion Dance. This is where people get inside a huge lion costume and dance around. The lion is supposed to bring good luck and chase away evil spirits.During Chinese New Year celebrations, lion dance troupes go from shop to shop doing the lion dance. Shopkeepers give them lettuce or other greens to eat because the word for "greens" sounds like "fortune." It's awesome seeing those giant colorful lions jumping around everywhere!Speaking of Chinese New Year, we have this tradition of giving kids money in little red envelopes. They're called "hongbao" and they have special sayings and designs on them for good luck. All the adults have to give us kids cash in the hongbao, even if it's just a tiny amount. I always look forward to Chinese New Year because I can collect a decent amount of spending money from all my relatives! At weddings in China, the bride has to cry for an entire hour before the ceremony. It's considered good luck because it shows she's sad about leaving her family. I went to my cousin's wedding once and we all had to pretend to cry with the bride for an hour. It was actually kind of fun acting all sad and letting out big fake wails! We also have some interesting food customs. On our birthdays, we aren't supposed to cut the noodles before eating them. It's bad luck because it symbolizes cutting off a long life. My grandma always gets so mad at me if I play with my noodlesand try to cut them on my birthday! We also can't drop our chopsticks on the floor. If you do, it means a stranger will visit your house soon. I'm always super careful with my chopsticks so I don't jinx myself. One tradition I think is kind of weird is not giving clocks or watches as gifts. In Chinese, the words for "giving a clock" sound a lot like the words for "attending a funeral." Whoops! I accidentally gave my dad a watch one year for his birthday. He thought it was funny but some old people take that stuff really seriously.Overall, us Chinese folks have tons of little traditions and superstitions when it comes to things like food, celebrations, and gestures. Some of them make perfect sense to me, but others are pretty silly if you think about it too much. Either way, it's fun learning about all the customs that have been passed down in my culture for so many years. Gotta keep those traditions alive!。
怎样应对bodyshaming英语作文Body image is a fad that currently shapes society—literally. 89% of girls have dieted by the time they are 17 and 45% of boys and girls in grades 3-6 want to be thinner. With the fear of being “fat”or “ugly”, many adults and children turn to eating disorders to fit the image. In the United States alone, 20 million women and 10 million men will suffer from significant eating disorders at some point in their lives. Not only have these diseases become more prominent, for females between 15 and 24 years old who suffer from anorexia nervosa, the mortality rate associated with the disease is nearly twelve times higher than any other cause of death. I am not promoting the idea that being over- weight is perfectly fine, but body shaming is not. There is a fine line between being in shape and fitting the shape of what society thinks is correct.A fat acceptance blogger recently created a hashtag#fatmicroagressions, to allow people who have experienced body shaming to share their stories. Some of the stories associated with the tweets are disheartening. “I am constantly underestimated. My intelligence, my strength, my talents, my tenacity, my cleanliness, my humanity.”Melissa McEwan tweeted on December 11, 2013, sharing her experience with body shaming. Phil Prehn tweeted, “Being told your wife is attractive w/ the questioning voice tone clearly implying “How did YOU attract such a beauty.”Fat shaming or body shaming in gene ral is an every-day occurrence. Not only does body shaming create low self-esteem, poor eating habits, and correct body care, but there seems to be no change in amount that it happens. Every body is a different body with many different cares and need. Placing a stereotype on what a “perfect body”should look like is an unrealistic goal that hurts everyone in the long run. There is a preconceived idea that shaming people for their weight will in turn cause them to become more motivated to lose the weight. This theory has been endlessly disproven through several studies that show that body shaming in turn only makes people feel bad about themselves, often causing them to turn to food for comfort. During the study, women of all different weights were asked to watch a video that shames people for being fat. After watching the video, 93 women in the overweight category ate more calories and feel less control with their eating. Women in the normal weight category, however, did not.Playboy model, Dani Mathers, recently posted a “story”on her snapchat of an elderly women undressed in the locker room at a gym. The picture was captioned ‘If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either’. Mathers claim ed to only intend to send the picture to her friend, however, the picture quickly made its way around the internet, sparking outrage. Mather’s is now banned from L.A. Fitness gyms across the country and faces potential jail time. The entire situation could havebeen avoided by simply leaving the women to do her business, instead of posting it on the internet. There is no excuse or reason for someone to body shame. It creates a series of problems that could have been prevented with the simple elimination of words. There is nothing wrong with not fitting the ideal shape of a “perfect body”and there is nothing wrong with you if you do. However, there is something wrong with thinking that shaming people for their weight is ever OK. Positivity should be spread, especially when it is related to body image. Next time you see someone body shaming, please put a stop to it. The problem is not going to be fixed unless people begin to take a stand on the issue. There is no reason for anyone to body shame, and there is no reason for you to not stop it when you see it.。

One thing I regret most about my life when I go to the park, my cell phone almost breaks into pieces.
On weekends, after dinner, I picked up my cell phone and went for a walk in the park with Shen Kangyi. When I came to the park, playing in bars, the unexpected happened - mobile phone suddenly from the pocket and slid out and fell to the ground. "Oh!" I shouted loudly, quickly from the bars down, picked up the mobile phone a look: day! The cover of the mobile phone has been torn apart, I regret it, red eye, I want to find a place to sew into.
Grow imperceptibly, subtle, natural and quiet change me,change all around me。
