高中英语阅读课教学案例——Book 3 Unit1信息技术与学科教学整合的教学设计一、教学内容本课是《普通高中课程标准实验教科书•英语》（人教版）必修3 Unit 1 Festivals around the world 的Reading部分。
教学过程中，对本单元的内容进行了重组。
本单元的中心话题是“节日”，单元各项活动的设计都是围绕一些中外节日主题进行的。
上一课时的Warmingup and Speaking,通过填写表格，谈论节日，为阅读课文做好了铺垫。
阅读（reading）部分由五篇小短文组成，其中四篇带有小标题，它们分别介绍古代节日的起源，亡灵节、纪念名人的节日、丰收节、春天的节日等，使学生了解各种节日的由来及存在的意义。
大多数最古老的节日，主要是因庆祝冬天的结束、春天的播种、秋天的丰收以及猎人猎取到的猎物而产生。
鬼节是为祭奠亡灵、纪念祖先而举行的节日，例如日本的盂兰盆节（Obon）,墨西哥的亡灵节、西方的万圣节（Halloween）等。
纪念名人的节日有中国的端午节，美国的哥伦布日，印度的甘地纪念日。
春天的节日包括中国的春节，西方的狂欢节、复活节、日本的樱花节等。
二、设计思路《普通高中英语课程标准》对阅读技能的教学提出了明确的要求：“教学目的：培养阅读策略；培养语感；特别强调培养学生在阅读过程中获取和处理信息的能力。
基本技能；略读；找读；预测下文；理解大意；分清文章中的事实和观点；猜测词义；推理判断；了解重点细节；理解文章结构、图表信息、指代关系、逻辑关系、作者意图；评价阅读内容。
”根据这一要求，教学目的方面，让学生通过阅读明白节日是人们在长期的生产活动中形成的庆祝或纪念性的日子。
反过来，节日又对人们的生产生活产生一定的影响。
在了解各种节日基本知识的同时，还要明白，因文化背景的不同，世界各国对于一些类似节日的庆祝方式也不尽相同，从而引导学生更深入地理解各国节日意义，激发学生学习英语文化的兴趣。
阅读技能方面，进一步训练学生略读（scanning）,猜测词义(word-guessing )、细读(close-reading) 归纳内容（summarizing）、对比（comparing）等阅读技巧，把握篇章中心内容获取有关节日的关键信息，并且针对这些信息表达自己的观点，发挥学生的创造力和想象力，同时掌握本课的词汇和语法结构。
三、教学目标1、语言目标通过阅读课文和教师的指导，学生能够正确地理解文章的内容，进一步的练习、谈论之后，能够掌握课文中的重点词汇，如，belief, gain, have fun with,take place, admire, play a trick on dress up,religious,award, gather, as though,look forward to, 和情态动词can, may,must, could, should, shall ,might,can’t 的用法。
通过阅读技能训练，提高学生自主阅读的能力，鼓励学生以思考、对比、讨论等方式，发展听、说、读、写的综合技能。
2、能力目标通过了解世界各国的节日的起源、庆祝活动帮助学生拓宽视野，提高文化素质，加强跨文化交流意识。
通过总结文章的大意和回答问题，培养学生迅速把握文段大意和捕捉有效性信息的能力，同时练习听和说。
读后写一篇介绍自己最喜欢的节日的文章，培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
3、情感目标通过阅读激发学生对节日文化的兴趣，特别是增进对中国的节日的理解，培养学生的爱国主义精神和文化保护意识。
四，教学重点和难点本节课的重点在于有关节日的生词、短语及相关的文化知识——对中外节日文化异同的鉴别，培养和提高学生阅读技能，进而达到语言的输出——写作。
五、教学准备学生应该做的准备（1）预习课文（2）查找相关资料，了解文章中涉及到的一些节日的信息。
