围绕“vacation”这一话题展开,主要通过对话“what are you going to do during the vacation ” 和“I am going to ...” 句型来学习假期期间所做活动的表达,并学习一般将来时态的运用。
本课时结合教学实际,以即将到来的清明节假期为主题,创编基于主题意义的语篇,把本单元的八个目标词汇和重点句型融入到语篇中,让学生在语篇语境中感知词汇意义与运用。
本课时话题延续了第一单元的“vacation plan”和第二单元的“weekend fun”,学生对前面两个单元的词汇、句型和时态学习为本课时的词汇学习奠定了基础。
另外,本单元第一课时故事教学核心句型的运用和文本内容的迁移也为本课时的教学做出铺垫,学生能够熟练运用所学时态和句型自由表达清明假期的计划安排,话题真实有趣,接近学生的实际生活。
三、学情分析(一)学生已有知识与经验本单元的教学对象为小学五年级学生,经过好几年的英语学习和积累,已经掌握了一定量的词汇。
由于本课时目标词汇皆为单词组成的词组,大部分单词都曾在四年级和五年级上学期学过,所以对于那些单词的读音和意义较为熟悉,但组合成词组后词义发生了一些改变,学生需要通过本单元目标词汇的学习来掌握词组的意义。
学生在此基础上,已经具备了初步的听说读写能力,还具备了一定程度的口语交际能力,掌握了一定的学习方法和阅读技巧,这些都有利于学生借助语篇阅读来学习新的词汇意义和用法。
