enough修饰形容词或副词时,常置于形容词或副词之后; enough修饰名词时,既可放在名词前也可放在名词后。

4.“不定代词+else”表示“其他的……”。
如:something else其他事物;anyone else其他任何人。
5. the sick生病的人。
“the+形容词”常用来表示一类人。
6.so that常引导目的状语从句.也可引导结果状语从句。
7. few意为“几乎没有”,修饰可数名词;a few意为“几个,有点儿”,修饰可数名词。
little意为“几乎没有”,修饰不可数名词;a little意为“有点儿”,修饰不可数名词。
8. on one's own=by oneself依靠某人自己。
9.without+doing, without是介词,后跟动词-ing形式。
如:without resting/stopping不休息/停。

重点语法原因、目的、结果状语从句引导词含义和用法例句because; since (原因状语从句) because意为“因为”,引导的原因状语从句一般放于主句之后,because表示直接原因,语气最强,用来回答why引导的疑问句。
since引导的原因状语从句一般放于主句之前表示已知的、显然的理由,意为“既然;由于”,语气比because弱。
He failed the exam because hewas too careless.因为太粗心,他考试没及格。
Since we've no money we can'tbuy a new car.由于没钱,我们不能买一辆新车。
that; so that; in order that(目的状语从句) 都意为“为了,以使”。
目的状语从句的谓语常含有may,might, can, could, should,would等情态动词。
I got up early so that I could getto school on time.我早起是为了能够按时到校。
so(结果状语从句) so意为“所以”。
用来引导句子的结果,不能和because一起用。
当句子中用because时,就不能用so,用so时就不能用because.He worked too hard, so he fell illagain.他太努力工作,所以他又生病了。
