It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. By studying Section B, The students can improve their speaking ability, learn more about things that affect people. At the same time, we should get the students to understand better. The students should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the students should receive some moral education. Unit 11 Sad movies make me cry.Section BPeriod 1 Section B 1a-2e本单元围绕“Sad movies make mesad”为中心话题,学习和运用make 作为使役动词的make sb +do 和make sb + adj 的语言结构.让学生能够描述和谈论不同事物对自己情绪的影响. 要学习的内容与学生们的生活息息相关.其实在初一和初二时对make 的结构已经提到过, 本单元是对make 这一结构第一次全面详尽系统的讲授,故学生对本单元没有太大的陌生感。
【知识与能力目标】1. 巩固练习make 的结构。
2. 能够运用所学的知识谈论事情对他们的心情影响。
【过程与方法目标】本课主要采用任务型教学法,情景教学法以及多媒体辅助教学,充分发挥教师的主导作用和学生的主体地位。
利用现代化教育技术优化教学过程,通过课件为学生创设更多生动活泼的语言环境,把学生吸引到活动中去,并激发他们主动参与学习的欲望,努力培养学生自主学习的能力。
把学习的钥匙交给学生,在传授知识的同时,授以科学的思维方法。
不仅要使学生学会,更要使学生会学。
【情感态度价值观目标】了解一些表达感情的词,能正确的表达自己的感情,并培养学生正确处理事情,特别是不好的事情对自己的正面影响。
【教学重点】1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。

Unit 11 Sad movies make me cry(第3课时)一、教材分析本课时共设计了四个模块的内容:第一模块围绕“the possible ending to thestory about the unhappy king”这一话题展开思维选择(1a);讨论(1b);听力(1c);听力回答问题(1d);小组活动(1e);第二模块围绕“Have you ever made amistake?How did it make you feel?展开小组讨论(2a);短文阅读,完成练习(2b)、重读短文回答问题(2c-2d);小组活动(2e)第三模块围绕what make you happy or sad这一话题展开训练,训练形式自己运用所给的词汇说话与写(3a-3b);第四模块为Self check.检查同学们对本单元知识的掌握情况。
二、三维目标1. 语言目标,巩固练习make的结构。
2. 能力目标,能够运用所学的知识谈论事情对他们的心情影响。
3. 情感目标,能够让学生理解事情对他们产生的影响。
三、教学重点1. 听力训练、小组活动与短文阅读;四、教学难点make sb + infinitivemake sb + adjective小组活动,同学们要积极表达;五、教学策略本课主要是一节巩固练习课,根据《英语课程标准》及《英语教学大纲》的要求,在本节课的教学过程中,采用“小组合作“以及“任务型”的教学途径,借助多媒体,增强趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量,提高课堂效率,面向全体同学,在听说过程中帮助学生掌握知识、发展能力、形成正确的价值观。
