8A Unit One 知识点
1.want to have something to drink (有东西喝): 表示be thirsty
(渴了)
want to have something to eat (有东西吃): 表示be hungry (饿了)
2. what about sth / doing sth? 来点某物如何？/ 做某事怎么样？
用来表示提议或建议：如：
What about some milk? 喝点儿牛奶，如何？
What about having some juice? 喝点儿果汁怎么样？
3. no = not any, nothing = not anything , nobody = not
anybody 如：
She has no books in her hand. = She doesn’t have any
books in her hand.
I saw nothing in the classroom. = I didn’t see anything in
the classroom.
He found nobody in the room. = He didn’t find anybody in
the room.
4. an honest person honest 以元音开始发音，前面用冠词an
它的反义词为dishonest （不诚实）
5. keep a secret to oneself 保守秘密，不告诉别人
They must keep a secret to themselves. 他们一定会保密的。（不会告诉别人的）Keep a secret for sb 替（为）某人保密
I will keep a secret for you. 我会为你保密的。
6. make sb +形容词: make you special 让你特殊
make them happy 让他们开心
make sb + 动词原形：make us all laugh 让我们开怀大笑
7. share sth with sb 与某人分享某物: share an apple with me

11. tell lies 撒谎: 说明: be dishonest
never tell a lie 从不撒谎说明：be honest
12. trust sb 信任某人，说明：Y ou can tell him anything
(everything)
He can keep a secret for you / to himself.
13. tell sb funny stories = tell sb interesting stories 给某人讲有趣的故事
very funny = great fun = very interesting 很有趣如：
That book is very funny. = That book is great fun. = That
book is very interesting.
how funny = what (great) fun 多么有趣啊！
fun 为不可数名词了，funny 为形容词
14. He is my true friend. 他是我真正的/ 忠实的朋友。/
That’s true. 那是真实的。
true 为形容词，用来修饰名词或与be动词/系动词连用作谓语。它的名词形式为truth: 真相(去e加th ),。To tell you the truth 告诉你真相吧。
truly 为副词（去e加ly）：用来修饰动词或形容词：如：
I’m truly sorry. 我确实很后悔。
它与real 真实的, really 真地的区别：
real 作形容词修饰名词时，一般是指看得见摸得着的物品。如：
a real apple real money real flowers
true作形容词修饰名词时，一般是指看不见也摸不着的东西。如：
a true story a true accident true words (真话)
really 副词用来修饰形容词或动词。如：
really hot really beautiful really special
really don’t know
此处一般不用truly一词。truly 一般只和sorry 搭配使用: truly

类似的还有：one of her friends = a friend of hers
one of our friends = a friend of ours

16. be willing to do… = be ready to do…愿意做某事/ 乐于做某事

17. have a good voice 有非常悦耳的嗓音(有副好嗓子) = sing
very well 歌唱得好
She has a good voice. = She sings very well.
18. He is the tallest boy in our class. 他是我班最高的男生。
= He is taller than any other boy in our class.
= He is taller than (all) the other boys in our class.
= He is taller than any of the other boys in our class. = No other boys are taller than he in our class.
20. almost = nearly 差不多，几乎
It’s almost half past ten now. = It’s nearly half past ten now.
He is almost 80 years old now. = He is nearly 80 years old
now.
21. I never feel bored or unhappy with him. 和他在一起时，我从不感到无聊或不开心。
boring 形容词，（not interesting）用来修饰名词（物）如：
a boring story / film / book 但也说：a boring person 一名无聊的人(比较特殊)
bored 形容词，（not interested）用来修饰名词（人）如：
He often feels bored. 他常常感到很无聊。
This boring film made us feel bored. 这部乏味的影片使我们感到很无聊。

23. knock sth onto the floor / off the desk 把某物撞翻在地上/

= His small round glasses look smart on Max. 马克斯戴着小而圆的眼镜看上去挺帅。

29. 比较级与最高级：
He is shorter than I (am). = He isn’t as tall as I. = He is less
