Tong Vfang Xien Qi is a 5-member group formed by SM Entertainment. They are often referred to simply as TVXQ, TVfXQ, DBSK, DBSG, or THSK.They have released music in Korea, Japan, and China. They are currently under the SM Entertainment label in Korea and Rhythm Zone in Japan. The five members of Tong Vfang Xien Qi were chosen via several auditions by SM Entertainment. The first chosen was Kim Junsu, who was chosen for his singing ability. He entered SM at twelve years of age and was trained for around six years before he debuted as Xiah Junsu. The second member added, who would later become the leader, was Jung Yunho, who went by U-Know Yunho. He was chosen for his dancing ability when he won first place in a dance competition. Previously he had rapped as well as done work with Dana. The third member added was Kim Jaejoong, who won first place in a competition for both looks and voice. His nickname Youngwoong, which translates to Hero, was given to him by a fortune teller. Fourth came the youngest member, Shim Changmin, who was chosen for his vocals. Finally Park Yoochun was added before the group's debut. Yoochun had been living in Chantilly, Virginia in the United States with his family, where he attended high school and went by the name Micky. He was spotted by SM Entertainment in an all-state singing competition, where he won first place.MembersThe first member to join was Kim Junsu. At the age of 12 he was brought into SM Entertainment through a televised talent search with Moon Hee Jun and Kangta from H.O.T. as judges. His vocals won over the judges and procured him thorough training for the next six years. After three years of training, he was supposed to debut, but puberty caused his voice to change and he was unable to sing until it ended after another three years. After six years, he debuted as Xiah Junsu (Xiah is pronounced Shee-ah in Korean). Xiah is the stage name that Kim himself chose, explaining to his fans that the name was short for "Asia", as Asia is pronounced "ah-shee-ah" in Korean. "Xiah" would be an implication of his desire to become not only a star in Korea, but also a star recognized all throughout the continent. The group's second member, Jung Yunho, secured his spot in TVXQ through a dance competition in which he won first place. Prior to this, he accumulated some musical experience as a rapper and backup dancer for K-pop singer DANA. As a dancer, he accompanied many Korean singers, travelling to China as well. Jung debuted as U-know Yunho. His chose his stage name as "U-know" from his Korean name "Yun Ho"; U-Know is pronounced "You know" in English. However, it is meant to mean "Yunho 'Knows You'" in regard to his understanding of the other members as their leader. He is the second oldest member and the "leader" in TVXQ.Kim Jaejoong left his hometown in Chungnam to audition for SM Entertainment. Having left the shelter of home, he experienced poverty and strife before becoming a celebrity. Kim debuted as Youngwoong Jaejoong. His manager picked the name Hero for him because he wanted him to be the hero of the music industry. Kim took first place in an audition of 5000 people, both in best looking and best vocals.Shim Changmin was grouped with the youngest participants in the audition. Like Xiah Junsu, he impressed the judges with his powerful voice. He joined the group under the name Choikang Changmin. Choikang in Korean means "Most Powerful", or approximately, "the best"; "Max" became an international rendition of this name. One year before the group's debut, a final member was added. Park Yoochun lived in Fairfax, Virginia for roughly four years before he auditioned for Brothers Entertainment and was sent to Korea to SM Entertainment.[34] Micky was Park's English nickname when he lived in Virginia. As the winner of a talent show, he was granted the opportunity to sign with SM Entertainment in Korea. He now performs under the stage name Micky Yoochun.Much to the excitement df fans,South Korean boy band Dong Bang Shin Ki released their new album Mirotic onSeptember,2008.The title of the leading song Mirotic comes from Korean word "miro" which means "maze"(迷宫)and the English suffix "tic"."It is meant to describe the kind of feeling one has when he falls in love with someone at first sight,"said member U-Konw."It's like being trapped in a maze."It is reported that the album has sold 90,000 copies two days after its release. It has risen to No. 1 on the weekly chart in South Korea. While you enjoy the catchy song, don't miss the band's trademark dancing moves. This time Dong Bang Shin Ki worked with famous dance choreographer(舞蹈编排)Kenny Wormald, who once cooperated with American pop stars including Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera. The band began working on the new record in early 2007 and didn't finish until June this year ."We have devoted ourselves to the producing work.We see the album as an opportunity to show our fans that we have made progess on a daily dasis,"said member Xiah."We won't let them down."It is this determined attitude that keeps the band going in the highly competitive entertainment world. The band never sets limits to their music styles.Since their firet appearance on the stage in 2003,they have tried pop,R&P and ballads(民歌).After winning the hearts of thousands of teenager across Asia, they haven't slowed down. This year,Dong Bang Shin Ki has starred in two TV dramas Dating on Earth and Heaven's Postal Delivery Man.The boys are sure to ride the wave of South Korean pop culture. The Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK) boys were put in different groups among peers during their training to be selected for the band, which was already named Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK) / Tong Vfang Xien Qi.TVXQ is the male K-pop band that everyone talks about. TVXQ (Dong Bang Shin Ki, DBSK) latest DVD release All About promises to create even more hype and fans for them. If the repetitive and unoriginal music were stripped away, along with the over-singing, ill-fated lyrics, and lack of voice control, then we would still be left with a rather average boy band. SM's newest boy band endeavor, DBSK, is now princes to the SM Empire. We have seen this routine before, twice, and know that, regardless of talent, TVXQ (Dong Bang Shin Ki, DBSK) will probably be hitting it big with numerous albums. There is a certain unimpressive attitude that we carry from this album, thinking that they would produce an album with more substance, more diversity, and more creativity then what they have given us. Usually albums that are unoriginal and just factory produced, such as this one, have a redeeming sound to it that merits at least the title 'catchy.' Yet it hurts to listen to some of these songs more than one time. The five members of Tong Vfang Xien Qi were chosen via several auditions by SM Entertainment. TVXQ is a top idol group in Korea. The name means the God of east rise up(东方的神站起来了),apparently the boys and their team were ambitious at the very beginning. They aimed to become the hottest singers in Asia and to represent Korea pop culture to go worldwide .They used to rank the number one in SM Entertainment which is a famous management company all over the world. Many of us must be very familiar with SM.It has raised many idol groups ,such as girls generation FX shinee XQ made their first appearance in 2003.And they made their debut in 2004 in.korea Since then, they have won countless awards .(清单).And they made their debut successfully in japan in 2005 .In 2006,they swept through many award ceremonies including top three television stations of Korea(SBS KBS MBC).Since then they started their peak journey, fans call it “the dynasty of the TVXQ(东方盛世)”.In 2008,they release their 4th album <MIROTIC>,which once broke the sales record of the past 5 years in Korea.Their fans are called Cassiopeia(means仙后座),because Cassiopeia consisrt of 5 shining stars in the sky which represent the 5 members. The number of their fans ,only the part that have officially registered on the Interner has reached more than 800,000,which was recorded in the Guinness. But in their rising time,in 2009 three members put forward to cancel their contract with SM and they made a new group called JYJ with another management company. Then TVXQ has seperated into 2 parts. Actually,I believe either the new JYJ or the resr TVXQ has gone through a hard period of time..I would not like to blame someone.Cause I believe the decision to leave must be tough and complex .As a big fan,I was kind of worried and disappointed at that time .But I think all I have to do is just always keep the faith in them ,hope to the end with them. From my point of view, I would like to regard the relationship between fans and stars as a kind of luck..We share our prime time with each other, the kind of feelings of the admiration for an idol may never come again. And at present,I …m not that appealed to their cute appearance like old days, but following their news has became a habit of me.I believe most teenagers or adults have similar experience.it‟s a very interesting phenonmenon.Cause today,we don‟t have brothers or sisters but in the fans group,we can build very close relationship with strangers. We have common interests,we can share many things together about our life, and we can have more friends.。
