Chinese poems went underground

“好雨知时节，当春乃发生。随风潜入夜，润物细无声”。“诗圣”杜甫的这首脍炙人口的《春夜喜雨》如今已经被译成英文出现在伦敦的地铁站里。

“A good rain knows its proper time，it waits until the spring to fall.

It drifts in on the wind，steals in by night，its fine drops drench，yet make no sound at all.”

The well－known poem，written by the poet Du Fu，was one of the famous poems that landed in London.Other poems from Li

Bai and Bai Juyi have also been enjoyed by the British public.

At the same time，some British poems，including the poetic works from famous William Wordsworth and William Blake，have decorated Shanghai's subway system.

At a simple ceremony held at Britain's National Library，the General Manager of London Underground wrote the title of

the Chinese poem with a brush pen，a traditional art pen in ancient China.This added to the Chinese atmosphere in the London

subway.The idea to exchange poetry was one part of the China－Britain Cultural Exchange.

An official from the British Embassy in China introduced the idea to exchange poetry as one part of the Sino－Britain

Cultural Exchange.

学生再次阅读课文（课本第72－73页）并完成“语篇理解”（见学案第73页）。师生共同讨论并统一答案。让学生快速阅读课文(见课本第72－73页)并完成“篇章结构”(见学案第72－73页)。

学生共同讨论，并让学生发表各自见解，最后统一答案。学生再次仔细阅读课文(课本第72－73页)进行深度理解，并完成“课文缩写”(见学案第73页)。老师指导学生讨论，共同找出答案。

让学生根据所给出的表格进行自我评估（见学案第74页）。学生讨论，并让学生代表发表他们讨论得出的答案。老师予以更正。让学生完成“知识初探”部分（见学案第73页）。
