内容与学生的日常生活非常贴切，因此教学的选材也较丰富。

课堂通过词组学习，听力练习，同伴对话，小组互动以及作报告等学练相结合的多种方式让学生掌握并灵活运用一般过去时。

从谈论last weekend拓展到last holiday.虽然一般过去时学生在小学阶段已进行过学习，但较多学生仍未能熟悉地运用一般过去时态，特别是在课堂教学中，学生对某些动词过去式较为陌生，致使在句子中使用了错误的动词形式。

动词过去式的读音也是该节课的教学难点，学生在朗读时容易忽略了-ed的读音，以及一些特殊情况下要改变读音等。

我是通过游戏来回顾知识点的，再通过阅读课本上的材料以及回答问题来加深对一般过去时的用法的掌握。

课堂的输出部分让学生以一般过去时写一篇题为“My last weekend”的文章来描述自己的周末活动，并让他们读出自己的文章，有利于学生对知识的拓展与应用。

本节学练相结合，通过多种形式的阅读任务来学习课本上的课文。

但在阅读任务的难易程度的设置还应作出改进，应遵循“先易后难”的原则。

学生在口头练习和书面练习时容易出现时态用错以及未能掌握动词过去式等问题。

部分学生会把实义动词的过去式和be动词was/were同时用在一个句子中。

也有些学生在做复合式填空练习时整篇文章的时态不一致。

因此在今后的教学中会更加关注细节，要让学生在掌握一般过去时动词的变形规则外，把这些知识再充分地运用到实际交际和笔头练习上。
