A: Hey, B. Long time no see. I heard you moved to an off-campus apartment. B: Yes, I’m not living in the dorm on campus now. I found a one bedroom apartment with kitchen and bathroom.
A: wow, sounds great.
B: Of course. The apartment is within walking distance to the subway station, telephone hookup, air conditioning, balcony, high speed Internet, microwave, parking, and yard. It is convenient to everywhere.
A: Oh, I have some envy you.
B: Come on. You know the mainly reason why I removed. My roommate snores loudly every day. It keeps me up all night and it makes me crazy. I only have to move out. In fact, I like living in our dorm.
A: Anyway. You can sleep sweet now.
B: Yes, in one aspect, living off campus gives me much more freedom and independence than living on campus. Finally I have a quiet living environment. In the other aspect, I feel a little lonely.
A: Oh, when I live in the dorm, I can learn how to deal with people and get along with them. It helps me improve your communicating skills and enlarge my vision. I believe there is nothing unsolvable among roommates.
B: it is easier said than done. Living with so many people makes it hard for me to concentrate on anything. You just can’t keep any privacy with several other people living in the same room with you.
A: come on. If you want to enjoy better relationship with your roommates, you must work hard to view them as people and make yourself fully aware that they’re going to have some faults and so are you. I will talk it over with my roommates if any problem arises. You escaped the problem with your roommate, it doesn’t help.
B: But it’s human nature to pick out a person’s negative aspects more easily than to realize his or her positive ones. I think my choice is the most sensible. A: may be you are right. Every coin has two sides.。
