而这节课又本册书的第一模块,文章内容涉及未来城市的话题,很有科幻感,如果教学设计得当,能调动学生在课堂上积极参与,从而将学生置于一种互动的学习环节当中,重视学生实际语言应用能力的培养和提升,进而激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
力求培养学生的知识技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识素养。
希望学生通过观察、体验、探究等主动学习的方法学习方法,充分发挥潜能,形成有效的学习策略。
1. 开展学生活动,发挥主体作用充分发挥学生在教学过程中的主体作用。
本课设计遵循以学生为主体,教师为主导这一教学原则,让激烈讨论找出问题的答案并能提出合理的建议,让学生最大限度地参与教学过程,充分发挥学生在学习过程中的主动性、积极性、创造性。
本课设计从教学需要出发,创设情景,进行情景设问,激起学生的情感体验,帮助学生迅速、正确地理解和接受知识,并在学习过程中培养其积极进取的科学的人生观及价值观。
3. 运用一系列问题,启发学生思维遵循学生的认知规律,引导学生去发现问题、分析问题和解决问题,从而掌握知识,形成能力,培养品质。
通过对文章分析的由浅入深,引导学生发挥想象,从而达到综合运用英语进行交际的目的。
力图培养学生的思维能力,激发学生的创新精神。

【学情分析】我校是一所普通高中,学生的英语基础参差不齐,一些学生对英语学习感到比较吃力而渐失兴趣,成为“ 老大难” 问题,偏科现象突出,学生的英语基础水平不高,英语语言组织能力和表达能力欠缺。

教学设计【设计理念】未来城市与人们的生活息息相关,本节课贯彻英语课程标准倡导的任务型教学,从学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发,鼓励学生在教师的引导下,通过实践、体验、参与、小组合作与探究等方式,内化输入,外化为输出,逐步掌握语言知识与技能,提升情感态度,掌握有效的学习策略和自主学习能力。
本节课,教师根据对教学的理解,保证学生的输入量,为学生输出提供途径,以此为基础而设计的教学任务。
【内容分析】本模块是外研版必修四Module1中的阅读课,其主题是“未来的生活”,阅读部分通过学生的想象,描绘了未来城市的发展前景。
本模块的词汇、句型、语法、语篇的中心内容以及听、说、读、写等学生活动都围绕上述主题展开,学生通过活动的开展以及通过各种途径如报刊、因特网、图书馆等了解世界发展前景,了解未来生活发展趋势,了解可持续发展的重要性,培养乐观的生活态度和积极向上的生活作风。
【学生分析】本次授课学生为高一年级学生,他们踏入高中校门快一年了,对高中生活仍然比较新奇,好动,探究合作心理较强,因此与他们生活息息相关的活动能激发他们的兴趣。
在完成前三册书的学习以后,已基本适应高中英语学习,并掌握了一定的词汇量,具备一定的阅读能力,能够用英语进行一定的交流。
遵循语言的学习规律,本节课主要练习如下三方面:reading, vocabulary, speaking,让学生自行阅读,猜测学习单词句型,引导他们对未来城市的看法,最后输出讨论成果,输入输出有机结合。
在教学设计上,遵循他们的身心发展规律,由浅入深,层层递进,设计不同的教学活动,让大部分学生参与进来。
在学生生成部分,要注意引导学生用学过的词组句型,避免语法问题。
【教学目标】1)知识目标:灵活熟练运用文中所学知识来谈论未来生活。
2)技能目标:培养学生在阅读中的预测能力、快速获取主要信息能力、发散思维能力以及合作探究精神。
3)情感目标:通过指导学生对文本知识的学习与探讨,进一步增强他们对世界快速发展的认识,激励他们为创造未来美好生活发奋学习,进一步培养他们科学的人生观、发展观和世界观。

Book 4 Module 1 The City of the Future教学设计在本节阅读课中,根据教材、学生、教学媒介的实际情况,我对这节课做出了如下的教学设计。
教学目标:1. Encourage Ss to use their imagination to talk about life in future.(鼓励学生运用想象,对未来生活进行畅想)2. Improve Ss’ speaking ability by practising making predictions.(通过预测未来的环节提高学生说英语的能力)Ⅰ导入(Warming up)利用课件中一些有意思、有代表性的图片,如驴车、旧鞋、充满科技感的汽车、高耸入云的大厦,引入过去的生活、现在的生活以及对将来生活的畅想这个时间轴,进而引发学生对未来城市的联想,点出未来城市生活这个主题。
Ⅱ新课呈现(Presentation)对于课本第二页reading and vocabulary的呈现,大致分为快读和仔细读两大部分。
①快读(Fast-reading):在规定的5分钟时间内,学生完成对文章的阅读,并且完成课本第4页第六个练习题中的十个小题,利用这10个小题,对未来城市生活的重要信息有一个基本的掌握。
本练习难度较小,随后在课件中进行答案的展示,学生进行答案的检查。
②仔细读(Careful-reading):Try to find how to run the city of the future in 10 minutes, and then please share your ideas with us.学生进行小组讨论,在规定的十分钟之内,对如何管理未来的城市进行探讨,课件中给出了10个管理未来城市的措施,作为学生进行讨论的线索及依据。
学生讨论完毕后,在我的带领下,根据课件对这十个措施进行探讨,并且我在课件中标出了重点的词组或者单词,例如get rid of,load with,place orders,at birth等,提醒学生注意教学的重难点。

因此,本节课设计思路如下:首先,展示电影《大话西游之月光宝盒》相关剧照,据“月光宝盒”的功用,引导学生想象其孪生宝物“日光宝盒”的用途,意即穿越未来,引出本节课的“未来”话题,充分调动学生兴趣与可参与性。
其次,以生词情景导入、快速阅读以及播放课文录音等形式使学生对于文章的主旨大意能有一个初步的理解和把握。
再者,引导学生精读文章,能够搜集和获取文中细节信息,概括段落部分大意,并能感悟文中精美语句,欣赏语言之妙。
