我曾看到过这样一句话：当一个孩子意识到一颗钻石比一颗水晶球珍贵的时候，他已经可悲的长大了。这也许就是界定童年和成年的最好界限。当我们学会用物质和金钱衡量这个世界而不是用一颗赤子之心的来感触时，我们从此就再也不是孩子了。

别让时光抚平你的眉眼。但是，我想说这是一个疼苦艰难的过程，当我们第一次被要求上课挺直坐正不能随意插话的时候，当我们第一次被要求把字写在正正方方的大田字格而不再可以随意涂鸦的时候，当我们被强制写下一篇篇费尽心思编造的文章的时候。那个儿时玩泥巴污脏一身的你，已经消失在时间的洪流中了。

我曾在五年级的暑假中，试图爬上门前那棵大银杏来数清到底有多少叶子，结果是，我真的这样做了，并以被父亲揪着耳朵去完成才做了几页的暑期作业而告终。现在回想起来，那时的我才是真正懂得享受童心和生活的，那时的生活也是真正舒适惬意的。在那些透着乡下特有的泥土芳香味的凉爽的夏夜中，伴着悠悠的蝉虫奏鸣，电视发出微弱的光，奶奶那把用了不知几年的老蒲扇还呼哧呼哧的作响„„

我也还记得，和同伴们一起赤着脚在浦阳江旁的泥潭上，废船上，嬉戏玩耍一下午的时光。那时的我只是在乎今天玩得开不开心，朋友们高不高兴，而不是想假期该上什么样的补习班。我也曾想过再叫上朋友一起走走，可是拿起电话的那一瞬才开始思考，我们已经有几年没有见面了，要怎样和你提起这件事呢?江边的小船好像也早就消失了„„

It was the year of 2013, and the Guangdong province was

abuzz with the annual high school entrance examination. The

atmosphere was tense, with students cramming in last-minute

study sessions and parents anxiously hoping for their

children's success. The pressure was palpable, but so was

the determination to excel.

On the day of the exam, the test centers were filled

with nervous energy. Students filed in, armed with pens,

pencils, and calculators, ready to tackle the challenges

that lay ahead. The examination rooms were silent, save for

the scratching of pencils and the occasional rustle of

paper. It was a make-or-break moment for many, and they

were determined to give it their all.

After the exams were over, a sense of relief washed

over the students. They had put in months of hard work and

If your life feels like it is lacking the power that you want

and the motivation that you need, sometimes all you have to do is

shift your point of view.

By training your thoughts to concentrate on the bright side of

things, you are more likely to have the incentive to follow through

on your goals. You are less likely to be held back by negative

Your life can be enhanced, and your happiness enriched,

when you choose to change your perspective. Don't leave your

future to chance, or wait for things to get better mysteriously on

their own. You must go in the direction of your hopes and

aspirations. Begin to build your confidence, and work through

problems rather than avoid them. Remember that power is not

necessarily control over situations, but the ability to deal with

Dear Tom,

How are you doing? I wonder if you could sell some Chinese knots for me. I made them

myself with red still threads, cloths and other materials. They look really beautiful in the shape of

a diamond, about 5 inches long and 4 inches wide. In China, these knots stand for friendship,

love and good luck. People can either give them as gifts to friends or hang them in their houses.

They are only 12.99 US dollars each. If anyone wants to know more about the knots, let them
