What an impressive picture it is! In the picture, a man is climbing towards to reach the fruits of the tree! In spite of the fact that the rungs behind him are broken, he kept on climbing. We know for sure he will soon be able to pick up the fruits.
The symbolic of the picture is clear: the broken rungs stand for failures in life ,the fruit of the tree, the success, while the ladder, the path toward the advancement and success. In our endeavors, these rungs serve as struts for advancement. Without them, there would be no progress. Everyone of us has failed many times in life, although we don’t remember them:we fell down the first time we tried to walk; we almost drowned the first time we tried to swim. Through these failures we have grown up.
Therefore, we cannot of afraid of these failures any more than we will welcome success. We should think of failure and defeat as the springboards to new achievements or to the next level of accomplishment, as most success springs from these obstacles or failures. If we don not fail ,we are not trying anything. The saddest summary of three descriptions : could have .might have, and should have. Unless we are willing to try, fail miserably and try again, success won’t happen.
Life is made up of ambiguous and nebulous defeats. As long as we do things we will surely encounter difficulty. Let us take a close look at the man in the picture. On his way to the top of the ladder, he has met quite a lot of difficulty-the broken rungs. But he braves all these failures and is now close to the upper end of the ladder and ready to pick up his fruits Not surprisingly, the drawer of the picture intends to convey more instructive meanings. Failures can also benefit us when it is treated properly. It can teach us a good lesson and make us experienced. Also we can realize our own shortcomings and get as better knowledge of ourselves. So when we start again, we can success more easily.
Therefore , whenever you got knocked down by life, don’t look back at it too long. Failures are life’s way of teaching you. You capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins himself all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part and parcel of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without occasional failures? Never quit ,your turn will come.
