V问题探究

1.neither的用法

① 这两本书都不好。Neither_of_the_two_books_is_good.

② 他们两个都不擅长唱歌。Neither_of_they_two_is_good_at_singing.

③ 你和我都不对。Neither_you_nor_me_am_a_student.

④ 他不是一个学生,我也不是。He_isn't_a_student,neither_am_I.

neither 用作形容词时只能与单数名词连用,谓语动词也用单数形式,意为“没有一个……”。

neither用作代词时,意为“两者都不”,其用作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。

neither ...nor ...连接主语时,谓语动词必须与nor后面的名词或代词在人称及数上保持一致,即所谓的就近原则。意为“既不……,也不……”,与both...and...所表达的含义相对。

neither用作副词,作“也不”解释,放在句首,表示前面否定的内容也适用于另一个人或物,句子须采用部分倒装,即“Neither +助动词+ 主语”这个结构,此时也可用nor替换neither使用。使用时,时态与上句要保持一致,助动词的数应与其后面的主语保持一致。

2.as soon as 的用法

① 他一回来我就告诉他这个消息。I_will_tell_him_this_message_as_soon_as_he_comes_back. ② 他一坐下就拿出了英语书。He_took_out_an_English_book_as_soon_as_he_sat_down.

as soon as连接的时间状语从句中,指未发生的动作,规律是:主句用一般将来时态,从句用一般现在时态代替一般将来时;指紧接着发生的两个短动作主从句都用一般过去时态。

3.他吃惊地看着我。He_looked_at_me_in_surprise.

in surprise意为“惊奇地”常位于动词之后作状语,表示方式。
