【篇一】小学四年级英语小故事

Two dogs A man has two dogs: a hound and a housedog.

He trains the hound to help him hurt and teaches the

housedog to watch the house. When he returns home after

a day’s hunt, he always gives the house-dog some meat.

The hound feels very angry. He says unhappily to the

housedog, “Where I work very hard outside, you share

my food.” “Don’t blame me, my friend. You should blame

the master. He doesn’t teach me to hurt, but to share

other’s food,” the housedog answers. Don’t blame

children for the mistakes of their parent【篇二】小学四年级英语小故事

In the last few days, I did a not-so-illustrious

thing, and I’m ashamed to say it. In the evening, I

went to JiangDong Park to play, and I saw that there

were a few other children catching frogs, so I also

hurriedly started catching frogs, and after I caught

them I brought them back to my house. At my house I took

care of them for a few days, but the frogs gradually

became thinner and thinner, it’s like they were saying

to me: “Put us back in nature, and we can catch more

insects.” I listened to this and was truly embarrassed.

So that night, I secretly put them back outside. 【篇三】小学四年级英语小故事

Ants were once men and made their living by tilling

the soil. But, not content with the results of their

own work, they were always eating longing eyes upon the

crops and fruits of their neighbours, which they stole,

whenever they got the chance, and added to their own

store. At last their covetousness made Jupiter so angry

that he changed them into ants. But, though their forms

were changed, their nature remained the same: and so,

to this day, they go about among the cornfields and

gather the fruits of others’ labour, and store them

up for their own use. You may punish a thief, but

his bent remains.【篇四】小学四年级英语小故事

In spring, the mother pig took the little pig LuLu

to the foot of the mountain. They planted some

watermelon. When summer came, there were many big

round watermelons in the field. One day, the sun was

burning like a fire, it was terribly hot on the ground.

The mother pig said to the little pig:”Lulu, go to the

field to pick a watermelon back,ok?” Lulu said

happily:”Ok! No problem.” Then he ran to the

watermelon field. When he got to the field, he was happy

to find so many big green watermelons. He chose one of

the biggest watermelon and picked it from the vine. Then he held it with his hands trying to lift is on his

shoulder to carry it home. ”Wow!It’s so heavy!”

Lulu tried several times, but he failed. And he was

socked with sweat. He wiped his sweat off and decided

to have a rest. Suddenly he saw the monkey Pipi. He

was playing with a hoop. Lulu patted his head and

said:”I’ve got it.” He thought, the round hoop can

roll, the watermelon round too, then it can roll too.He

then put the big melon on the ground and rolled it

forward quickly. At last he got home with the

watermelon. The mother pig knew the story, she

exclaimed:”My child, you’re really clever!”【篇五】小学四年级英语小故事
