（2）辨认不同国家的文字，想一想，哪种文字应用最广泛。
（3）教师在此基础上与学生讨论一下英语的作用以及学习英语的意义。
（4）请学生说说他们在现实生活中已经了解的英语单词（边展示实物或图片边说）或日常用语。
2、呈现新课、操练(Presentation/ Practice)（1）教师播放本课的歌曲“Hello”的录音，自然引出师生之间的打招呼。
