unit4. The Burger Business-more reading教案The Rise of Chain Stores in China一、章节分析（一）综述本章节是补充阅读材料，通过介绍连锁店在中国的产生，发展，进一步分析其产生的原因。
本课的任务有两个：1.对课文进行整体阅读，培养学生略读，扫读和细读的阅读能力。
2.掌握一些核心词汇，例如：rise, convenient, relaxing, well-lit,reasonable, chain store, be likely to do, be close to, pop into, pick up, meet one’s needs, a wide range of 等3.通过学习本文，了解连锁店在中国的发展情况。
同时更进一步熟悉如何安排写这样的一篇文章。
（二）阅读目标1知识目标学习课文中重点词、词组、句型和语法。
2能力目标进一步提高学生的阅读理解能力和培养学生的阅读技巧。
3情感目标启发学生比较中国连锁店的兴起发展和外国的一些连锁店包括快餐，超市等进入中国后的发展情况，孰强孰弱，成功的方面和原因，进一步引发学生拥护民族产业的爱国主义情操。
（三）教学方法采用任务型教学法组织教学，通过听说，小组讨论等具体活动，达到教学目的。

通过听，说，写方面的训练，提高学生语言词汇方面的能力，加强他们运用语言知识来表达思想感情的能力。
教会学生构筑“writing plan”，掌握按步骤时间线成文的基本能力。
（二）目标Listening1帮助学生通过抓关键词培养其听力理解能力。
2听说结合，提高听力教学效果。
Speaking1帮助学生学会借助图示理清事物发展的步骤顺序。
2帮助学生按照整理出的步骤顺序完整描述全部过程。
3鼓励学生借助所学到的方法，更进一步描述其他事件过程，为今后说明记叙文体写作打下基础。
Writing1学会看清表格和图画所要表达的意思以及他们之间的联系。
2学会列出写作的plan，并能有连贯性。
3能够将非正式文体转化为正式文体并完整，连贯，准确地按步骤时间线完成文章叙述。
（三）重点和难点Listening确保学生掌握如下词汇：autobiography, portable, take off,market(v.) Latin, insight, briefly帮助学生知道：Tokyo Telecommunication and Engineering Company, CBS Records, Columbia Pictures Speaking学会理清复杂的事件步骤顺序，并在此基础上完整地描述事件发展的全过程。
Writing根据提示将非正式文体转化为正式文体并完整，连贯，准确地按步骤时间线完成文章叙述。
