Private car VS public transportations
People never thought that the automobile will have such profound influence on our daily life, since 1902 the large-scale production –line manufacturing debuted in the automobile industry. Now a days people rely on them, no matter if you have your own car or use the public transportation .Both of them allowed easier access to remote places ignoring the distance and time. However, there heated debates arise about which one will be better, using a private car or public transportation. Everyone has his own viewpoint, in my view the difference will show by different groups of people in the money, time and environment.
Compared with the buses, apparently you will spend more money on your own car especially for students. Because as a student you can buy monthly bus card in school, it costs about $59.78CAD and you can get on or transfer to any bus without restriction. But if you buy a car, first you have to pay for the car insurance and the gas fee. Also, you need risk insurance especially for adult men, because they like driving fast after they drank too much. In that way you may pay more than $300CAD per month not included the repair fee or installed some equipment in your car. As a result, in particular for students tend to use the public transportation will be the most economic and convenient way.
Meanwhile, time equal money and opportunity. The advantages of having a private car are noticed, you can save a lot of time by driving. Fist, you do not need to worry about the start and close time of the buses, meanwhile you do not have to wait more than half an hour if you missed the bus especially on the weekends. That means you waste a lot of time on waiting, which regarded as a huge loss to the business men as they cherish every second of their working time. In addition, some of them live very far from their work places as a result
they can not live without their car. So, for the businessmen, private car will be their first choice and obviously it can save them a lot of time.
There is no denying that the private cars help us solve troubles in a great extent. However, we can not ignore the air and noisy pollution exhausted by the private cars too, which lead to climate change and enhance the greenhouses effect. Now we are in the hottest summer throughout history, can you say there is no relationship with the cars? Meanwhile, more countries aware the importance of the public transportation as to the environment. For instance, in North America and European countries, all of them offer bicycle sharing system as the same as Toronto. The governments encourage the citizens to use free bicycles and decrease the use of private cars. No matter what kind of job you are, the prior thing is that we only have one earth, everyone should get together to protect it well. What’s more, the public transportations today are no longer outdating and environment friendly, there is no reason we do not use them.
So, looking at the comparison above, even though owing to different people, some of them will choose public transportation instead, however the others will prefer private cars. But, in order to have a better environment for ourselves and offspring, we should advocate the public transportation in the future.。

People can take buses easily, which can be found every 10 minutes or less in the peak time. Actually, Nottingham Transport Company is building its own light railway in the city, which is announced by the speak man of the company, “It will be completed in the next year, the tickets will be very competitive and at the same time the travel will be very safe and comfortable.” On the other hand, public traffic had its own disadvantages. Usually it cannot provide door-to-door service. It is inconvenient to go shopping by public vehicles. Sometimes you must wait a long time for the train. And quite a lot of people prefer to enjoy driving. In conclusion, developing the public traffic is a useful approach to deal with these difficulties. One possible way, if not the best, is to taxi private cars heavily and use these revenues to provide citizens cheaper public traffic services.。
