Unit1 My new school
【课时安排】3课时
【第⼀课时】
【教学⽬标】1．能听、说、读、写，并运⽤词汇classroom, playground, gym, library, behind, in front of。
2．能听懂、会说Listen and say中的内容。
3．能听懂、会说、会运⽤there be结构的句型：There is a big gym. There are thirty-six classrooms and two playgrounds。
4．⼩组合作完成Draw and say部分；培养学⽣善于观察周围的事物变化的能⼒。
5．能朗读和表演Let’s chant；通过多种⽅式的课堂活动，保持学⽣学习英语的兴趣。【教学重难点】
（⼀）重点1．能听、说、读、写，并运⽤词汇classroom, playground, gym, library, behind, in front of。
2．能听懂、会说、会运⽤there be结构的句型：There is a big gym. There are thirty-six classrooms and two playgrounds.
（⼆）难点1．library的读法和写法。
2．there be句型中的be动词的⽤法。可参考句⼦There is a big gym. There are thirty-six classrooms and two playgrounds.理解“就近原则”。

英语书、PPT或部分的电⼦课本、单词卡⽚等。
【教学过程】Step 1: Warm-up
T: Hello, my children! How are you today?

T: What a colorful holiday! Welcome back to our school. Let’s sing a happy song.
Step 2: Presentation
1．教师在Free talk环节，最后⼀个问题设计为How do you like our school?学⽣会回答I love our school.这时教师可以顺势说Ilove it too, because our school is very beautiful. Look, this is our school. This class we will learn something about our school.教师出⽰本学校的整体图⽚，指着学校教学楼问What is it?引导学⽣学习新词classroom，同时加⼊新句型there is进⾏操练。2．在学习的过程中，教师主要对句型中较难发⾳的there进⾏指导，并对学⽣发⾳进⾏纠正。随后出⽰图书馆、操场、体育馆等图⽚，讲授单词，在句⼦中进⾏操练。3．教师分别和两名学⽣进⾏对话⽰范。第⼀遍，教师问学⽣答；第⼆遍，学⽣问教师答。然后，同桌学⽣看图练习对话，并进⾏展⽰汇报，教师检查反馈。教师也可以出⽰有很多不同教室的图⽚，让学⽣⽤there be句型⾃由描述，并引导学⽣逐步扩展，让学⽣有充分的练习空间。4．教师可先出词汇短语如desks/ in the classroom, books/ in the library, students/ on the playground。教师接下来问Howmany classrooms are there?引导学⽣学习there be的复数表达形式，并进⾏操练。
5．there are句型操练结束后，教师出⽰学校图⽚，例如操场、教学楼、图书馆、体育馆及很多教室，让学⽣四⼈⼀⼩组合作进⾏描述。然后通过单复数词组的变化，让学⽣进⾏there is与there are之间的转换，从⽽更明确两者的区别。6．当学⽣在描述教室物品时，教师适时地呈现behind和in front of⽅位词，让学⽣感知这两个⽅位词。
7．教师可以这样说：“David来到了⼀个新的学校，让我们看看他的新校园吧。”随后正式带领学⽣翻开书，听录⾳跟读Listenand say部分的内容；然后听录⾳模仿跟读，⾃读。课⽂中的主要单词和句型在前⾯的教学中都已解决，因此学⽣对课⽂内容很容易掌握。接着教师可与学⽣⼀起讨论David的新校园，为学⽣分析课⽂，帮助他们加深对课⽂的理解。8．接着教师可邀请学⽣上台表演课⽂内容，并让全班同学配对进⾏pair work，从⽽让所有学⽣都参与进来。
9．听唱Let’s chant，教师也可以⾃编，加上节奏，调节课堂的⽓氛。教师说：There’s... in your bag. There are many thingsin your bag. What’s in the classroom? 同时通过听唱chant，使学⽣对新学句型there is/ are的掌握更加熟练。Step 3: Practice

【教学⽬标】1．能够听懂并准确发出Listen and read部分中bl, pl的发⾳，熟练朗读绕⼝令。
2．能听懂、会说Read think and answer中的短⽂，并能仿照该短⽂介绍⾃⼰的学校。
3．能够根据Design your new school中的图⽚及⽂字信息的提⽰，完成对⾃⼰学校的规划设计。
4．培养学⽣团队合作的技能以及爱护环境的意识。
5．通过听、说、读、练以及⼩组合作表演，激发学⽣学习英语的兴趣。

【教学准备】
英语书、课⽂录⾳、本单元所学单词卡⽚、⼀些校园场所的图⽚等。
【教学过程】Step 1: Warm-up
教师展⽰PPT，并说：Boys and girls, let’s review what we have learnt in the last class.学⽣看幻灯⽚，拍⼿齐读上节课学习的单词和句⼦。Step 2: Presentation
1．在新课讲授前，建议教师先让学⽣将上节课作业——设计⾃⼰⼼⽬中的校园，在全班⾯前进⾏展⽰、介绍，并对所学重点进⾏巩固复习。该活动也可在⼩组内进⾏。2．教师出⽰⼀张单词卡，如classroom，组内学⽣依次应⽤there be句型，说出与该词有
关的其他单词，如students, desk, chair等。通过游戏复习上节课单词classroom, library, playground, behind, gym，短语infront of及there be句型。⼩组⽐赛，激发学⽣的英语学习积极性，复习巩固本单元的教学重难点。
3．教师出⽰⼀些校园场所的图⽚，齐读这些词。然后发给学⽣每四⼈⼀份设计图及介绍语（来⾃教材Design your newschool部分），⼩组合作设计⾃⼰喜欢的校园，并向全班同学展⽰介绍。
4．教师让学⽣翻开书，听Read, think and answer部分录⾳，边听边标出there be句型，然后⾃⼰有感情地朗读课⽂。可先分男⼥⽣进⾏朗读，然后同桌之间进⾏练习。教师请1?2组学⽣到前⾯展⽰，给予⿎励。通过师⽣的⽰范以及PPT展⽰的keypoints的⽀持，请学⽣⾃⼰进⾏课⽂朗读和复述，学⽣pair work后，先对学⽣的听读情况进⾏简单的检查反馈，让学⽣根据短⽂内容回答⽂章后⾯的两个问题。5．教师板书black/blue, play/plane，请学⽣分别找出相同处，操练辅⾳连缀bl, pl，并听读绕⼝令Let’s play with my blueplane and your black plane.教师引导学⽣⾃读练习，并⿎励学⽣们进⾏朗读⼤⽐拼活动。
6．教师发给学⽣每⼈⼀张⽩纸，教师读句⼦，学⽣听⾳⽤铅笔画画。Look at the picture. There is a sun in the sky. There aresome clouds in the sky. There is a river. Beside the river, there are some trees.画完后，教师让学⽣⽤彩笔进⾏涂⾊，并练习介绍⾃⼰所画的图⽚，先让⼀两个学⽣拿着作品在讲台前向全班介绍、展⽰。然后再让学⽣在⼩组内进⾏展⽰、介绍。听⼀听，画⼀画，再展⽰说⼀说，激发学⽣的兴趣，使学⽣在课堂的后半段能继续集中注意⼒，并能够综合使⽤所学过的英语知识。Step 3: Practice
活动⼀：⼩组⽐赛。教师出⼀张单词卡⽚，如classroom，组内学⽣依次应⽤there be句型，说出与该词有关的其他单词，如students, desk, chair等。通过游戏复习上节课的classroom, building, library, playground, canteen及there be句型。看哪个⼩组记忆的单词数量最多。
活动⼆：Have a try.根据书中Read, think and answer的内容，教师给出key words，让学⽣进⾏课⽂复述，然后再留出关键词，⿎励学⽣⾃⼰完成新的⽂章。Step 4: Consolidation
1．教师引导学⽣看书，跟录⾳朗读Read, think and answer的课⽂，并试着复述或改写。
2．⼩组合作完成Design your new school部分，并且四⼈⼀组进⾏展⽰、介绍。
