3.5、 垂直交通和运输
书库上、下层之间应有垂直交通相联系， 一般设置专用楼梯供内部工作人员使用。 垂直运输主要是运送书籍的提升设备。
书库内楼梯段净宽不应小于0.8m，坡度小 于45度。
二层以上书库应设书籍提升设备，四层及 四层以上的书库，提升设备应不少于两套， 六层及六层以上的书库宜另设专用电（货） 梯。

3.1、书库类型
3.1.1、 基本书库（Basic Stack Rooms） 即总书库，书籍成分复杂，种类繁多，藏 书量大。
3.1.2、 辅助书库Auxiliary Stacks 采用闭 架管理时，图书馆中为读者服务的各种书 库，如：借书处、阅览室、参考室、研究 室、分馆等部门所设置的书库。辅助书库 应与基本书库联系紧密，以便从基本书库 中补充新书，也便于把旧书送回基本书库。
3.6.2、 防湿、防潮 为了防止书刊受潮，书库 围护结构内表面不得出现结露现象，书库周围 应排水通畅，给排水管道不得从书库地下通过， 以防管道渗漏。
3.6.3、防尘、防有害气体 庭院绿化对防尘具 有积极作用，书库楼、地面应采用坚实耐磨的 面层，库内墙面和顶棚表面应光滑、不积灰尘。 特藏书库还要防止二氧化硫，硫化氢等有害气 体的侵蚀。

3.1.3、 开架书库Open Stacks 允许读者入库查找资 料并就近阅览的书库。此书库除正常的书架外，在 采光良好的区域还设有少量阅览座（厢）供读者使 用。
3.1.4、 特藏书库Special Stacks收藏珍善本图书、 音像资料、电子出版物等重要文献资料、对保存条 件有特殊要求的库房（不应有阳光直射）
