外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Awesome Summer VacationSummer vacation is finally here! No more waking up super early, no more homework, and no more tests for a whole two months. It's going to be awesome! The first week of summer, my family and I went on a road trip to the beach. We loaded up the car with all our stuff - swimsuits, beach toys, sunscreen, and lots of snacks for the drive. The drive took forever, but I didn't mind too much because I got to listen to music and play games on my tablet. When we finally got to the beach, I was so excited! The ocean looked beautiful and the sand was perfectly warm. I ran straight into the waves and started splashing around. The water was a little cold at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. My little brother kept getting knocked over by the waves and he didn't like that very much. He mostly just played in the sand, building sandcastles and burying our dad's feet when he fell asleep on his beach towel. In the evenings, we would walk along the beach and look for cool seashells. I found a few really neat ones that I added to my shell collection at home. We also went mini golfing one night, which was a lot of fun even though I'm not a very good golfer. I couldn't stop laughing when my dad's ball went right into the water hazard! After a few days at the beach, we headed back home. I was a little sad to leave but also excited for the rest of my summer plans. The next week, I went to summer camp for the first time ever. I was really nervous at first because I didn't know anyone there. But by the end of the first day, I had already made a bunch of new friends!Camp was awesome - we did all sorts of fun activities like hiking, canoeing, arts and crafts, and playing games. My favorite activity was definitely archery though. I was surprised at how good I was at it! I even got a bullseye a few times. One night we had a big campfire and roasted s'mores. I ate way too many but they were delicious so I didn't even care. The camping part of camp was also really cool. We all had to pitch our own tents and sleep outside in sleeping bags. I was a little worried about bugs and animals, but my counselor said the noise was just part of the outdoor experience. I actually slept really well, except for the one night where there was a thunderstorm. That was pretty scary! But we were all safe in our tents. After two weeks at camp, it was time to head back home again. I was really sad to leave my new friends but we all exchanged addresses to keep in touch. My parents could tell I had an amazing time because I couldn't stop talking about all the fun activities we did.The rest of my summer was a little more low-key, but I still found ways to have fun. I had tons of awesome sleepovers with my best friends. We would stay up late watching movies, doing makeovers, and sharing bag after bag of microwave popcorn. Sometimes we would have crazy dance parties in my basement until my parents told us to go to bed. Those were some of my favorite nights.I also spent a lot of time at the neighborhood pool. My friends and I would have contests to see who could do the biggest cannon ball and make the biggest splash. We played all sorts of pool games too like Marco Polo, treasure hunt, and swimming underwater contests. I even finally learned how to dive off the diving board without being scared! As summer started coming to an end, I felt a little sad knowing I'd have to go back to school soon. But I was also excited to see all my school friends again and tell them about my adventures. We spent the last week of summer just hanging outin the backyard, soaking up the last few rays of sunshine. We would lie out on beach towels listening to music, snacking on popsicles, and coming up with ideas for how to make next summer even better than this one.Looking back, this was honestly one of the best summers ever. I made so many incredible memories that I'll never forget. I can't wait to go back to school and write all about my summer for that first big essay assignment. Seventh grade, here I come!。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Big Ideas for the New Oriental 7th Grade Final Exam EssayHi there! My name is Lily and I'm in 7th grade. I love learning English and I'm really excited (and a little nervous) for our big final exam coming up. I've been studying hard all year with the New Oriental textbooks and materials. My teacher says the essay portion of the exam could be on any number of topics we've covered. I've been thinking a lot about what those potential essay prompts might be. Here are my best guesses!A Memorable ExperienceOne very likely topic is to describe a memorable experience we've had. Maybe it will be to write about a special family vacation, like the time we went to Beijing and saw the Great Wall. Or perhaps writing about an important life event, like moving to a new city or welcoming a new sibling. Personal narratives and descriptive writing have been a big focus this year, so an essay asking us to recount a significant memory in detail makes a lot of sense to me.My Favorite Book or MovieAnother possibility is an essay asking about our favorite book, movie, TV show, video game or other media. We've practiced a lot of plot summarizing, character analysis, and giving opinions and recommendations. An essay prompt along those lines would let us showcase those skills. I may write about how much I love the Harry Potter book series and why the characters and storylines are so compelling to me. Or maybe an animated film like My Neighbor Totoro if they want us to describe the visuals and feelings it evokes. An Important PersonWriting about someone who is an important figure or role model could also come up on the exam. We've learned about biographical writing and how to highlight key accomplishments and influences. I could potentially pick a famous scientist like Marie Curie or a legendary athlete like Serena Williams. But I may choose to write about my older sister, who overcame many challenges when she was younger and is now studying engineering at a top university.Hopes and GoalsWith the school year ending, our teacher may want us to reflect on our hopes, dreams and goals for the future in an essay prompt. Where do we see ourselves in 5 or 10 years? Whatcareers interest us and why? What positive impact would we like to have on our communities and the world? Heavy topics for 7th graders, but good writing practice nonetheless! Maybe I'll write about my ambitions to become a marine biologist and work to protect endangered species.Environmental IssuesProtecting the environment has definitely been a recurring theme. So an essay asking us to discuss an environmental issue like pollution, climate change or conservation would make sense. We could describe the problem, explain its importance, and suggest solutions. An essay on why we should cut down on single-use plastics could let me discuss this very real issue that impacts us all. I could give examples of how to reduce, reuse and recycle. No matter what the actual essay prompt ends up being, I feel ready to tackle it after all my hard work and prep this year. Wish me luck! I'll put my English skills to the test and hope to make my teacher, parents and myself proud.。

外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Potential Essay Topics for the 7th Grade English ExamHey everyone! With our end-of-term English exam from Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (外研社) coming up, I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what kinds of essay topics they might throw at us. I definitely don't want to be caught off guard!Based on the units we've covered this semester, I have a few guesses as to what the essay prompts could be about. But before I get into my predictions, I just wanted to say how much I've really enjoyed learning English this year. Yeah, it can be challenging at times, but Mr. Wang has made the classes fun and interesting with all the games, group activities and cool supplemental materials he uses.Okay, let's dive into my topic speculations! One area I think is pretty likely to come up is discussing different cultures and traditions around the world. We spent quite a few units exploring customs, festivals, food, clothing and more from variouscountries. So an essay prompt along those lines would make a lot of sense to me.For example, they could give us a question like "Choose one cultural tradition from another country and explain what you find interesting or unique about it." If we got something like that, I would probably pick a food tradition, maybe like the Malaysian tradition of noodle-pulling contests or Portugal's iconic pastry eggs tarts. Yum!Or they could go with more of an open-ended cultural prompt like "What are some ways China and another country's culture are similar and different? Discuss with examples." That would allow us to compare and contrast different cultural elements that we've learned about.Another big focus this term was on social issues and ways to make positive changes in our communities and world. So I could definitely篇2Potential Exam Essay Prompts and How to Approach ThemWith the end of year English exam just around the corner, I've been racking my brain trying to think of what kind of essay prompt we might get. Our teacher always tells us the essayprompts come from the writing tasks we've practiced throughout the year from our New Orient Longman textbooks, so I've been reviewing all those to try and prepare. Here are some of the prompts I could see coming up and how I plan to approach them if they do:Prompt: Write a short story involving the theme of friendship, personal growth, or facing a challenge. For a creative writing prompt like this, I would want to have an engaging plot with interesting characters and a few twists and turns in the storyline. I've learned that a good short story has a clear beginning that sets the scene, a middle portion where the main conflict or obstacle arises, and an ending where that conflict is resolved in some way, whether happily or not. Using descriptive language to paint a picture in the reader's mind is also really important. Some potential story ideas could involve: two friends who have a misunderstanding but learn an important lesson about communication and forgiveness, a student who struggles with a subject but through hard work and perseverance overcomes it, or someone facing their fears by taking on a new challenge like public speaking or outdoor adventuring. The key would bedeveloping realistic, relatable characters and a plot that feels authentic and resonates emotionally.Prompt: You recently took part in a school club or extracurricular activity. Describe your experience and explain why it was meaningful to you.For this type of reflective essay, I would want to choose an activity that was truly significant and memorable, then focus on relating specific details, insights, and emotions from that experience. Maybe it was joining the school play and developing more self-confidence through performing. Or taking a cooking class that sparked a passion for the culinary arts. Or volunteering at a local organization and having my eyes opened to important social issues.I would describe the activity itself, but more importantly, dig into how it changed my perspective or taught me something new about myself and the world around me. Using descriptive examples and personal anecdotes is key to making it feel sincere and impactful. The main purpose would be reflecting on my personal growth from the experience.Prompt: What is something you feel strongly about and why? Explain your stance through logical reasoning and examples. An opinion or persuasive essay requires taking a firm position on an issue and backing it up with solid logic and evidence. Some topics I could potentially address might include: the importance of protecting the environment, whether smartphones have more negative or positive impacts, theneeds for or against school uniform policies, or the pros and cons of standardized testing. No matter the issue, I would want to clearly state my claim or thesis statement up front, then spend the body paragraphs methodically presenting facts, statistics, expert opinions, and clear examples to build my case. Acknowledging counterarguments and logically refuting them is also a powerful strategy to make my position stronger. The conclusion would summarize my main points and re-emphasize why my stance is correct and well-reasoned.Prompt: Imagine 25 years into the future - describe what you think daily life and society will be like. What will have changed and what will have stayed the same? This type of prompt allows me to showcase my creativity and imaginative thinking. I could speculate about future advances in technology like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, renewable energy sources, space tourism, and so on. I might describe howself-driving vehicles could change transportation, or how schools and learning could evolve with things like personalized digital curriculums and virtual teachers. At the same time, I would balance it with discussing how certain core aspects of society could remain - the importance of family, the need for communities and personal connections, our appreciation for nature and unplugged experiences. Keeping things grounded amid the imaginative futurism would be important.Using vivid details and imagery to paint a picture of this future world would make the depictions more engaging. Making reasonable predictions based on current knowledge and trends is also crucial for it to feel plausible and thought-provoking rather than wildly fantastical.Regardless of the exact prompt, the main keys I've learned for writing a successful essay are: following clear essay structure with an introduction, body, and conclusion; developing a clear, logical thesis or narrative throughline; using plenty of relevant details, examples and reasoning to substantiate ideas; varying my sentence structure and using descriptive language for better flow and vividness; and ensuring I properly proofread and edit my work before declaring it finished. With the different skills we've practiced across narrative, expository and persuasive writing tasks, I feel prepared to tackle whichever prompt comes my way. Staying focused, taking my time, and channeling my creativity and critical thinking will be the biggest keys to success. I just hope all this preparation pays off when exam day arrives! Wish me luck!篇3Potential Essay Topics for the 7th Grade Final English ExamHey guys! Jenny here. With the final English exam coming up, I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what the essay topic might be. The essay question is always a surprise, but I have some ideas based on the units we covered this term. I think it's a good idea to be prepared for a range of possible topics so we're not caught off guard. Here are my guesses for what could show up on the exam:Unit 1 was all about describing people's appearances and personalities. A question related to that could be something like "Describe your best friend's looks and character traits and explain why they make a good friend." That would let us show off vocab for physical descriptions as well as personality adjectives. We'd need to use descriptive details and give specific examples to illustrate their positive qualities. For Unit 2 on daily routines, they might ask "What is your typical day like from when you wake up to when you go to bed? Describe your daily schedule and routines." This would require using time expressions, talking about frequency with adverbs, and covering the various activities we do each day like getting ready, going to school, doing homework, eating meals, and so on. Orderly sequencing with transition words will be key.Unit 3 covered abilities, so the question could be along the lines of "What are some things you are good at and not so good at? What would you like to improve?" We'd need to usecan/can't, be able to, and other ways to express skills and difficulties. It would also involve stating goals and plans forself-improvement using "I want to..." or "I'm going to..." types of constructions.Let's not forget Unit 4 on pastimes and hobbies. A possibility here is "What are your favorite activities and interests? Why do you enjoy them? How do you spend your free time?" This one's pretty open-ended, allowing us to describe hobbies, discuss likes/dislikes, explain reasons using because, and give opinions all in one essay.Another option relates to Unit 5 about places and locations. We might see something like "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Describe this place in detail." That would require plenty of descriptive language for geographic features, adjectives for evaluating places, and explanations for our reasoning and motivation.Unit 6 was all about experiences and life events, so the prompt could be "What is the most interesting or significant experience you have had? Describe what happened in detail." This narrative essay would involve using the past tense, time sequencers, descriptive language to build the scene, and probably some explaining of the bigger lessons or impacts too.Of course, the unit on wishes, dreams and goals in Unit 7 is fair game as well. We may get an imaginative essay prompt like "What is your biggest dream for the future? Describe your dream life 20 years from now." This one would let us get creative with hypothetical situations and imaginary scenarios while practicing "I wish..." and conditional structures. Those are my best guesses, but Foreign Research Press always throws us a curveball! Maybe they'll combine elements from multiple units into one big prompt. Or maybe it will besomething completely random that we've never covered before. Who knows?!The key for any essay will be following the formatting and structure we've practiced:-Introductory paragraph with thesis statement-Body paragraphs with topic sentences and supporting details-Transition words to connect ideas-Relevant vocabulary and grammar concepts from the units-Concluding paragraph to summarize and restate the main pointsI also need to work on writing more complex and compound sentences, instead of relying too heavily on simple structures. Using a variety of different sentence types will help my essay flow better and sound more natural.Anyway, those are my thoughts! Let me know what you guys think the essay topic will be or if you have any other ideas. I'll be over here feverishly reviewing all the units just in case. The exam will be here before we know it!。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Big Predictions for the End of Year English ExamHi everyone! My name is Li Ming and I'm in 7th grade. I've been studying so hard for the big English exam at the end of the year from Wai Yan She. All my classmates and I are really nervous about it! The exam is supposed to test everything we learned in our English textbooks and classes this whole school year. That's a ton of stuff to remember!I've been going through all my notes, workbooks, homework assignments, and tests from this year to try to predict what kinds of questions will be on the huge final exam. I really want to get a good score so I can move up to the next English level next year. My parents said if I do well, they'll get me that new video game I want! So you know I'm super motivated.Based on everything we covered, I think the reading comprehension section will probably have some articles about things like:• Protecting the environment and recycling• Eating healthy foods and exercise• Different cultures around the world• Using technology safely• Being a go od student and friendThose were some of the biggest themes we learned about this year in our reading passages and textbook units. I bet there will be a few longer passages testing if we can understand the main ideas and details, define vocabulary words in context, and make inferences. I really need to practice all those reading skills! For the writing section, I'm pretty sure we'll have to write at least one paragraph or short essay responding to a prompt or stating an opinion about something. Maybe it will be like "Write a paragraph persuading your parents to let you go on a class trip" or "Describe your favorite celebrity and why you admire them." We did a lot of opinion and persuasive writing practice this year.I also expect there will be some questions where we have to fill in blanks in sentences or paragraphs using the right grammar points like verbs, adjectives, articles, and prepositions. That's always tough! We covered so many grammar rules this year about tenses, subject-verb agreement, punctuation, and more. I need to review all my notes on those topics. When it comes to vocabulary, I'm preparing for them to test us on synonyms, antonyms, word families, roots, and definitions of key words we learned throughout the year. Maybe some fill in the blank sentences or matching vocabulary to definitions. Sigh, there are just so many words to try to memorize! For the listening part, I bet they'll play some audio recordings and we'll have to answer comprehension questions about the main ideas, details, making inferences, and filling in key words we hear. We practiced that skill a lot by listening to conversations, stories, and podcasts in class. As long as the speakers don't talk too fast, I think I'll be okay!Phew, I know it's going to be a marathon exam covering so many things! My brain already hurts just thinking about it all. But I'm trying to study a little bit every night, take practice tests, and get plenty of rest. Wish me luck, everyone! I'll let you know how it goes after the big exam day. For now, it's time for me to quit worrying and get back to studying...。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Awesome Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No more boring classes, no more annoying homework, and best of all - no more waking up at the crack of dawn. This past summer was one I'll never forget. I had so many awesome adventures and made a ton of new friends. I just know that the New Orient Press textbook people are going to make us write about our summer for the final exam essay, so I want to get a head start braising about all the rad stuff I did.The very first day of summer, my parents surprised me and said we were going to Disneyland! I was so stoked. We took the bullet train down to Shanghai and stayed in a really fancy hotel right next to the park. Disneyland was even more epic than I could have imagined. The rides were crazy cool - I loved the haunted mansion and the roaring rapids ride the best. We went on every single rollercoaster and I didn't even get scared once (okay maybe I screamed a little on the highest loop-de-loops). The shows were brilliant too, with fireworks and music and characters dancing everywhere. Goofy kept trying to mess with my hair which was pretty hilarious. We stayed for three days and I didn't want to leave! After that thrilling start, the next few weeks were kind of a lazy blur. I slept in until noon most days and played video games and basketball with my friends. That was the life! My parents kept bugging me to read books and use my "summer freedom" productively. Whatever, mom and dad. This was my hard-earned break after busting my butt all school year. Then in late July, my cousins from Xinjiang came to visit for a couple weeks. That's when the real fun started! We'd wake up early and have big family breakfasts withLoadSA of delicious oven-baked naan bread, lamb kebabs, and yoghurt drinks. Yum! In the afternoons, we'd go exploring around the city parks or indoor playzones. My little cousin Batur was obsessed with this VR gaming place - we rode virtual roller coasters and fought robot armies. It was awesome but also kind of made me dizzy and nauseous. Oops, too many games! The highlight was definitely our camping trip though. We drove way out into the countryside and set up tents near this gorgeous little lake. The water was so clear and refreshing to swim in. We had a big bonfire at night and spent hours telling scary stories and roasting marshmallows. I'll never forget when my uncle tried to convince us that the shadowy shapes across the lake were actually a family of bigfeet! We were freaking outuntil the "bigfeet" started munching on some bushes - just a couple of hungry deer. Nice try, uncle! On the last night, we stayed up until after midnight watching shooting stars. I've never seen so many in my life! Every few minutes, another bright streak zipped across the inky black sky. It was magical. I made about a million wishes on those stars. Mostly for superpowers and unlimited desserts, obviously. Some things never change! All too soon, it was time for my cousins to head back home. We were all a little teary saying goodbye at the train station. But they promised to come visit again next summer, and I'm already counting down the days. Xinjiang is so far away, I barely get to see them normally. Cousin bonding time is the best! After that, the last few weeks of vacation were kind of a snoozefest to be honest. I hung out with friends, played basketball, watched movies, the usual. My parents dragged me along on bunch of "educational" day trips too. Like okay, I get it, the Ancient Capital Museum is "culturally enriching" or whatever. But could we just once go somewhere fun, like an amusement park or arcade?!Oh well, at least I stocked up on tons of amazing summer memories to last me until next year. I just know our finals aregoing to have an essay prompt like "What I Did On Summer Vacation" or something lame like that. Good thing I have plenty of excellent material! This was honestly one of the most legendary summers ever. Disneyland, VR gaming, camping under the stars, bonding with cousins, naan bread for days - what more could a kid ask for?! Seventh grade is going to be a total breeze after my epic summer adventures. Admittedly, those first few weeks back at school are going to be a drag after two blissful months of sleeping till noon. But I'll just pull an all-nighter cramming for exams while dreaming about next summer's inevitable fun. Ah, the life of a student!。

初一下学期英语外研版作文As the first semester of junior high school comes to a close, students often reflect on the experiences and lessons learned during this pivotal time. The transition from elementary school to junior high can be both exhilarating and challenging, as students are introduced to a new environment, new subjects, and new expectations. One of the most significant changes is the introduction of English as a subject studied through the Foreign Research Edition textbook. This not only marks a new academic challenge but also opens doors to a global community. Learning English is not just about grammar and vocabulary; it's about understanding different cultures and ways of thinking. For many students, the initial excitement of learning a new language is often met with the realization of its complexity. English, with its irregular verbs, idiomatic expressions, and nuanced pronunciation, can be daunting. However, it is these very challenges that make mastering the language so rewarding.Throughout the semester, students engage in various activities designed to improve their language skills. They read stories that transport them to different worlds, write essays that allow them to express their thoughts and ideas, and participate in conversations that help them to use the language actively. One of the key lessons learned is the importance of persistence. Language learning is a gradual process, and it's normal to make mistakes along the way. What's important is the determination to keep trying, to keep practicing, and to learn from those mistakes.Another lesson is the value of cultural exchange. Through English, students can connect with peers from around the world, share their own culture, and learn about others. This exchange broadens their horizons and fosters a sense of global citizenship. As the semester ends, students can look back with pride at their progress. They have not only learned a new language but have also developed important life skills such as resilience, open-mindedness, and communication. In conclusion, the first semester of junior high is a time of growth and discovery. English, as taught through the Foreign Research Edition, plays a crucial role in this journey. It challenges students to step out of their comfort zones, encourages them to connect with the world, and equips them with the tools to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world. As students move forward, they carry with them the knowledge that English is more than a subject; it's a bridge to the world. And with each word they learn, they build that bridge stronger and wider, ready to cross into new adventures and opportunities. 。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题Phew! The School Year is Finally OverWow, what a year it has been! I can hardly believe that the school year is finally over. It feels like just yesterday that I was walking through the doors of my middle school for the very first time, nervous but excited for the adventures that lay ahead. Now, here I am, a whole year older and (hopefully) a little wiser, ready to embark on my summer vacation. If I'm being honest, this year has been a real rollercoaster ride. There have been ups and downs, triumphs and challenges, but through it all, I've learned and grown in ways I never could have imagined. Let me take you on a little journey through the highlights (and lowlights) of my 7th grade year.First up, let's talk about academics. I'll admit, I struggled a bit with the increased workload and more challenging material this year. Math, in particular, was a real thorn in my side. I spent countless hours poring over textbooks and practice problems, trying to wrap my head around concepts like algebra and geometry. There were moments when I wanted to pull my hair out in frustration, but I persevered, and I'm proud to say that my grades improved steadily throughout the year.On the flip side, English class was an absolute joy. I've always loved reading and writing, and my teacher, Mrs. Johnson, did an amazing job of nurturing that passion. From analyzing classic novels to crafting our own short stories, every lesson was an adventure. I even won the school's annual poetry contest with my piece about the changing seasons – a proud moment, for sure!Speaking of special moments, let's not forget about the school's production of "The Wizard of Oz." I had the honor of playing the Cowardly Lion, and though I was a nervous wreck during rehearsals, the actual performances were an absolute blast. Seeing the audience's faces light up with joy and hearing their thunderous applause was an experience I'll never forget. As I look back on this whirlwind of a year, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. I've grown so much, not just academically but also personally. I've learned to tackle challenges head-on, to embrace my passions, and to cherish the wonderful people in my life.As I look ahead to the summer and the start of 8th grade, I'm filled with a mix of excitement and a little bit of trepidation. I'll miss the familiarity of 7th grade and the routines I've grownaccustomed to. But at the same time, I can't wait to take on new challenges and continue growing and learning. To my fellow 7th graders, let's raise a glass (of lemonade, of course) to the memories we've made and the obstacles we've overcome. And to the teachers who have guided and supported us every step of the way, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Here's to a summer of rest, relaxation, and recharging our batteries – because 8th grade, we're coming for you!。

外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Awesome Summer VacationWow, what an amazing summer I just had! I can't wait to tell you all about the totally awesome adventures I went on over the break. Get ready for an epic story time!It all started on the last day of school. I was sooo psyched for summer to finally arrive after a long year of studying, tests, and getting up at the crack of dawn. As that final bell rang, I sprinted out of the classroom cheering "Freedom at last!" My friends and I had been making big plans for weeks about how we were going to spend our summer. The first item on our agenda was the class trip to the water park. We'd been looking forward to this all year. The day finally arrived and we rallied the whole crew to meet up bright and early.I woke up almost too excited to eat breakfast! After a quick ride, we arrived at the Crazy Waterworld park. It was even bigger and crazier than I remembered from last year. We ditched our stuff at the lockers and made a beeline for the wave pool. The simulated beach atmosphere was so relaxing as we bobbed around in the peaceful artificial ocean. Well, peaceful until the sirens blared and 5-foot waves started crashing over us! We spent hoursriding those gnarly waves with the occasional break for snacking and reapplying sunscreen.Next up were the twisting, turning water slide attractions. Nothing gets your heart pounding like climbing to the top of a gargantuan fiberglass tower and preparing to plummet down a sheer 80-foot drop! We must have ridden the "Python Plunge" at least 10 times, shrieking at the top of our lungs as we accelerated down the dizzying turns and sudden drops. Afterwards my stomach felt like it was still swooping from all the wild maneuvers. We barely had a chance to catch our breath before rushing to conquer the next monster slide! After an epic day of splashing and screaming, we were exhausted but still buzzing with adrenaline from all the wild rides. I'll definitely remember that kickoff to summer for years to come. Once we recovered from the first adventure, it was time to start making plans for the rest of our free time over break.Of course, no summer is complete without a camping trip! My family has an annual tradition of spending a long weekend roughing it out in the wilderness. This year our destination was the Baoxin National Forest about a 3-hour drive from the city. As soon as we left the suburbs behind, the looming peaks of the mountains came into view, the lush green forest climbing uptheir rugged slopes. I loved watching the scenery turn from urban to rural to finally unblemished nature. When we arrived at the campsite, the first order of business was setting up our trusty tents. My little brother and I always squabble over who gets to use the hammer to pound in the stakes, so naturally a fight broke out immediately. After we got that settled (I won, of course) we got busy gathering firewood for the overnight campfires. There's nothing quite like the smell of a crackling campfire to get you in the outdoorsy spirit! That evening after cooking up some hot dogs and s'mores, we gathered around the dancing flames and listened to my dad's chilling tales of exploring deep in the Baoxin forest when he was a boy scout. He claimed to have encountered a huge black bear rummaging around their campsite one night! I don't know if I entirely believe that far-fetched story, but it was fun trying to stay brave while he went into grisly details about the gnashing teeth and blood-curdling growls. The next morning, fueled by a big breakfast of bacon and eggs, we set off for a day hike along one of the scenic trails. The bird songs and rustling vegetation made for a soothing soundtrack as we climbed over fallen tree trunks and maneuvered around boulders. Suddenly, we reached abreathtaking overlook where the trail opened up to reveal a sweeping panoramic vista of the entire valley below. The lush forest stretched out in every direction, blanketing the winding river and craggy rock formations. We spent a while just taking in the majestic view in silent awe before hiking onward. After a strenuous but rewarding day trekking up and down the hilly terrain, I could feel my leg muscles burning. That night's campfire was particularly cozy and welcoming as we roasted marshmallows and gazed up at the dazzling canopy of stars you could never see in the light-polluted city. All too soon, it was time to pack up and head back home to reality. But the fun wasn't over yet! The next big item on our summer bucket list was hitting up the nearby amusement park. This place had been re-done over the past year with some insane new roller coasters and thrill rides that we'd been dying to experience. I spent the entire drive there strategizing with my friends about what order we should tackle the intense new attractions. When we passed through the main gates, we were greeted by the iconic roller coaster skyline, with looping steel tracks and scream-filled cars zooming by at every angle. The delicious aromas of funnel cakes and fresh-squeezed lemonade waftedthrough the air, making our mouths water. We made our way first to the massive "Leviathan" coaster that featured a mindboggling seven inversions packed into one three-minute adrenaline surge. As we slowly pulled up to the top of the300-foot peak, I couldn't believe we were about to plummet straight down at an 80-degree angle! The floor seemed to disappear from under us as our train was launched into a full 360 loop, whipping our bodies around at 4 Gs of force. My stomach never did catch up with the rest of me as we ricocheted through corkscrew after corkscrew and sidewinder curves at terrifying speeds. When we finally pulled back into the station, we could barely stand from dizziness! From there we hit up all the other intense thrillers like "Goliath," an absolutely gargantuan coaster that stretched up beyond the clouds with numerous staggering 180-foot drops. Then we moved on to "Superman: Ride of Steel" which blasted us horizontal taking on the laws of physics themselves as we were propelled at subsonic speeds attached only to a slender metal frame. My throat was raw from all the screaming! After getting our fill of daring coasters, we took it down a notch with some gentler (but still thrilling) spinning flat rides scattered throughout the park. The "Scorpion" rattled us senseless with its jarring flips and turns, while the "Voodoo Swinger" swung us in afull 360 degrees circle over 100 feet in the air. We capped off the evening by grabbing typical theme park fare: gooey cheese fries, juicy burgers, and crisp lemon chill cups to keep us refreshed in the brutal summer heat.Well, those were definitely the highlights, but there was plenty more summer fun packed into those couple months too! Swimming at the community pool, roasting s'mores at bonfires with friends, chilling at home playing video games, catching some awesome movies, the list goes on. Summer always seems to fly by way too fast when you're having fun. Before we knew it, it was time to start preparing to head back to school, Buying crisp new school supplies, updated clothes and backpacks felt bittersweet as we lamented the conclusion of our carefree days of summer. While I'm definitely bummed that the fun is over, I'm also really excited to get started on a fresh new school year. I've got so many great memories from this summer to look back on fondly. From thrilling amusement park rides to tranquil forest hikes to just hanging out with my best buds, it was one unforgettable adventure after another. I feel recharged and ready to tackle 7th grade head-on! I just hope summer vacation doesn't pass quite so quickly this time around. Here's to manymore months of endless excitement and making awesome new memories!。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Best FriendI have a best friend named Jack and he's the coolest! We've known each other since we were little kids in kindergarten. I still remember the first day I met him - we were both playing in the sandbox and he asked if I wanted to build sandcastles together. From that day on, we became inseparable!Jack lives just down the street from me, so we spend a lot of time together after school and on the weekends. Our favorite things to do are play video games, build Lego sets, and have Nerf gun wars in our backyards. Jack's mom makes the best chocolate chip cookies too. Whenever I go over to his house, she always has some fresh out of the oven for us.Even though we like a lot of the same things, Jack and I have some differences too. I'm more of a bookworm while Jack prefers being outdoors and playing sports. But that's okay because we can do both! Sometimes I'll read my book on the bench while he plays basketball at the park. Other times, he'll come over and we'll have a big pillow fight and rough house around inside. One of my favorite memories with Jack was when we went camping for the first time with his family a couple summers ago.We went hiking, caught frogs in the creek, and made s'mores over the campfire at night. It was so much fun! The only downside was when a raccoon got into our snack stash and ate all the marshmallows. Jack's little sister cried for like an hour. It was a hilarious mess!Jack is the best because he's always been a good friend to me. Like the time in 3rd grade when Billy Thompson was making fun of my Star Wars backpack. Jack stuck up for me and told Billy to cut it out. Or last year when I broke my arm falling off the monkey bars, Jack came over every day to play video games and keep me company. He even let me use his favorite controller! That's just the kind of guy Jack is - super nice, funny, loyal, and an all-around great friend. He's also really smart too. Jack gets pretty good grades, especially in math. Sometimes I'll ask him for help with my homework if I'm having trouble. I'm better at English and writing, so I try to help him out when I can too. We make a good team that way.I know having a best friend isn't going to last forever though. We're both getting older and will probably drift apart someday. Jack's family might move away or we could end up going to different high schools. But I'll always cherish the fun times we had as kids. Building forts, pulling pranks, staying up late atsleepovers, and getting into all sorts of mischief together. Those are the kinds of memories I'll never forget!Even if Jack and I don't stay best friends forever, I hope we'll at least keep in touch. Maybe years from now, we can meet up and reminisce about the good old days. We could get a pizza, just like old times, and laugh about all the silly stuff we used to do. Who knows, our own kids might even end up being best friends too someday! Wouldn't that be crazy? But for now, I'm just savoring every minute. Jack is my partner in crime and there's no one else I'd rather have adventures with. We've been through good times and bad, but our friendship has only gotten stronger. Sure, we'll probably fight and get on each other's nervers once in a while. Even best friends need a break sometimes! At the end of the day though, we're like two peas in a pod. A dynamic duo. An unstoppable team.Jack is truly one of the most important people in my life right now. He's taught me so much about what it means to be a good friend - having fun together, being there for each other, and making lots of crazy memories. I'll always be grateful that we became buddies all those years ago in the sandbox. Who would have thought it would lead to such an awesome adventure andfriendship? I sure am lucky to have a best pal like Jack by my side. Here's to many more good times ahead!。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Exciting Summer VacationSummer vacation is finally here and I'm so excited! I have lots of fun plans to look forward to over the next couple of months. First up, my family is going on a big trip to Japan! We'll be visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and some other cool cities. I've never been to Japan before so I can't wait to experience the culture, see the famous sights, and try all the delicious Japanese foods. My biggest goal for the trip is to improve my Japanese language skills. I've been studying Japanese at school for two years now, but it will be my first time putting it into practice in the real world. I'm a little nervous about communicating with locals, but I know through immersion it will really help reinforce what I've learned. Maybe I'll even pick up some new slang! In Tokyo, I'm most looking forward to seeing the Sensoji Temple, Shibuya Crossing, Harajuku for its quirky fashion, and the Ghibli Museum dedicated to the amazing anime films. For Kyoto, I can't wait to experience the traditional culture at sights like Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of orange torii gates, the Golden Pavilion, and Arashiyama's iconic bamboo forest.Osaka will be a fun city too with its delicious street food like okonomiyaki and takoyaki. After Japan, my family will go on a camping trip in the mountains near my grandparents' village. We're planning to go hiking, fishing at the river, and roast marshmallows over a campfire every night while stargazing. Getting back to nature is going to be such a nice break from city life. I'm a pretty good hiker but I'll need to build up my endurance more to take on some of the bigger mountain trails. My grandparents are the most amazing cooks, so I'm really looking forward to their homemade village meals during our stay. Nothing beats my grandma's dumplings or my grandpa's barbecued meats. They've also promised to teach me and my younger siblings how to make some of our favorite dishes from scratch. Cooking always brings our family together. When we return from the village, we'll have about a month left before school starts again. That's when I plan to work really hard on the novel I've been writing over the past year. I've completed several drafts but I'm determined to finalize the book and get it ready for publication over the summer. I'll start by getting feedback from my writing group. Then I'll go throughseveral more rounds of revisions to polish the plot, descriptions, dialogue, and characters. My dream has always been to become a published author. This novel is a young adult fantasy/adventure story that I first started for a school assignment but it's grown into something much bigger. If I can get it published, that would be the greatest accomplishment! Even if I don't get a book deal right away, I'll self-publish and continue writing new stories. In addition to novel writing, I'm also going to prepare for my amateur kickboxing competition happening in late August. I've been training in mixed martial arts for four years now and this will be my biggest tournament yet at the national level. My daily routine will involve hours of intense exercise, conditioning, technique practice, and sparring sessions. It's going to be an extremely challenging couple of months pushing my body to its limits, but I'm determined to fight my hardest and make it to the finals. The last big activity I have planned is starting an online coding boot camp offered through a top university. I've always excelled at math and developed an interest in computer programming over the past couple of years. This intensive8-week course will teach full-stack website and app developmentusing multiple coding languages. It's meant to prepare students for careers in software engineering and tech. Even though I'm still in middle school, I want to get a head start exploring this field as a potential career path.My summer is packed with all kinds of exciting opportunities for learning, adventure, and pursuing my passions! Between traveling abroad, enjoying nature, mastering new skills in the kitchen and dojo, creative writing, and coding, I'll hardly have a moment's rest. That's just the way I like it though - staying active, challenging myself, and making the most out of my free time. This is definitely going shaping up to be one unforgettable summer before the hard work of 8th grade begins!。
外研社七年级下期末英语作文押题My Favorite HolidayHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 7th grader at Sunshine Middle School. For this essay, I was asked to write about my favorite holiday. Well, that's an easy one - my absolute favorite holiday is Chinese New Year!Chinese New Year is the biggest and most important celebration in Chinese culture. It marks the start of a new year on the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar. The date changes every year, but it usually falls sometime in late January or early February based on the solar new year. This year, Chinese New Year was on January 22nd.I love Chinese New Year for so many reasons! First of all, it means a nice long winter break from school. We typically get 2-3 weeks off which is awesome. No waking up early, no homework, and lots of time to sleep in, play video games, and hang out with friends. This year's break was really fun - I got to go skiing with my family which was amazing. But beyond the school vacation, Chinese New Year is filled with so many cool traditions and cultural activities. Leading up to the holiday, my mom always does a huge deep cleaning of ourwhole house. She says it's to sweep away any bad luck from the old year and make room for incoming good luck. I have to help out which I don't love, but it does feel nice to start the new year with a sparkling clean home. Then there are the decorations which are so vibrant and festive! We decorate our house with red lanterns, red couplets with auspicious sayings, paper cut-outs, and imagery of that year's zodiac animal. This year was the Year of the Rabbit, so we had lots of cute bunny decorations. Red is considered a very lucky color in Chinese culture, so it's everywhere. My favorite decorations are always the upside-down fu symbols, which symbolize good fortune arriving. When Chinese New Year finally arrives, the real fun begins! On New Year's Eve, we have a huge feast called reunion dinner. All my extended family comes over and we have a massive multi-course banquet with all my favorite dishes like dumplings, noodles, spring rolls, fish, and so much more. Eating certain symbolic foods is supposed to bring you luck and prosperity in the new year. Like eating dumplings is meant to bring you wealth because they look like ingots of gold and silver. After our big meal, the kids receive red envelopes filled with cash from our parents and grandparents. It's called yasuiqian or"lucky money" and it's one of the best traditions in my opinion! This year I raked in over 2000 RMB which was awesome. I splurged on some new video games and clothes with my lucky money windfall.Once night falls, the real excitement begins with firecrackers and fireworks! We set off a ton of firecrackers in the streets to scare away evil spirits and welcome in the new year. It's incredibly loud and smokey but I love it! Fireworks then light up the night sky in brilliant, colorful displays. Every year it's truly a dazzling, magical experience. The celebrations continue for days after New Year's Day. We visit temple fairs filled with carnival games, performances, and vendors selling fun snacks and trinkets. I always play games trying to win goldfish or stuffed animals. One of my favorite snacks is tangyuan, which are little sweet rice ball dumplings that symbolize unity and togetherness.Another tradition I love is giving out and receiving Hong Bao on my phone. Hong Bao are virtual red envelopes that you can send to friends and family over messaging apps. It's a modern twist on the old lucky money tradition that's hugely popular with kids and teens. My friends and I spend hours furiously sendingeach other Hong Bao trying to see who can collect the most digital cash!So as you can see, Chinese New Year is an absolutely awesome holiday filled with delicious food, excellent family time, fascinating traditions, and best of all - no school! I spend weeks looking forward to it every year. Though it's over in a flash, the holiday fills me with happiness, pride in my cultural heritage, and excitement for the new year ahead. I already can't wait for next Chinese New Year! Thanks for reading my essay, and I hope you also get to experience this amazing holiday sometime. Xin nian kuai le (Happy New Year)!。

These topics are always tested in our exams, so it's important to know how to write them well. One of the topics is "My Favorite Animal". I love animals, especially cute and fluffy ones like pandas. I always start my essay with an introduction about why I love pandas, then I talk about their characteristics and habits. For example, pandas are very playful and they love to eat bamboo. I also mention their conservation status and why it's important to protect them.Another common topic is "My Best Friend". I always write about my best friend Sophie, who is kind, funny, and always there for me. I describe our adventures together and how she has helped me through difficult times. I also mention the qualities that make her a great friend and why I appreciate her so much. One more topic is "My Favorite Hobby". I love playing the piano, so I always write about that. I talk about how I started playing the piano, the songs I like to play, and the joy I feel whenI'm playing music. I also mention any achievements or competitions I have participated in.These are just a few examples of the topics we often write about in our exams. It's important to practice writing essays on these topics so that we can improve our writing skills and do well in our exams. I hope this helps you with your English writing too!篇5Title: My Favorite HolidayHi everyone! Today I want to talk about my favorite holiday. Can you guess which holiday it is? We hang up colorful lights, shiny ornaments, and a big star on top. It's so much fun to see the tree all lit up and sparkly! Then we sing Christmas carols and drink hot cocoa by the fireplace. On Christmas Day, we wake up early to see what Santa Claus has brought us. I always write him a letter with my wish list, and he never disappoints! I love unwrapping presents and seeing thejoy on my family's faces when they open theirs. We then have a big feast with turkey, mashed potatoes, and my favorite dessert, Christmas pudding. But the best part of Christmas is spending time with my loved ones. We play games, watch movies, and just enjoy each other's company. It's a special time of year when we can show how much we care about each other.I can't wait for this year's Christmas holiday. I'm already planning what gifts to buy for my family and friends, and thinking about all the delicious food we'll eat. Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year! What's your favorite holiday? Let me know in the comments! Merry Christmas, everyone!篇6Title: My Favorite Cartoon CharacterHey guys!
