小朋友们，你们知道怎么用英语来表达天气很冷吗？你是不是只会说“It’s cold.”？事实上，英语中还有许多种不同的句式可以用来表达“冷”的意思，今天就让我来教你几种表达吧！
1. It’s nippy. 天气寒冷。
单词nippy往往用在口语说法中表达“天气较冷”。
動词nip有“捏、掐”的意思，我们可以想象一下自己被寒风“捏”一下的感受，因此nippy常用来形容寒风刺骨的感觉。
2. It’s chilly. 天气挺冷的。
有冷得让人发抖的意思。
3. It’s brass monkey out there.这天气真够冷的。
铜猴子天气“brass monkey weather”是一种英式口语说法，形容天气非常冷。
在英国维多利亚女王时代，黄铜制作的猴子小雕像是风靡一时的装饰用摆设，所以这个表达的由来便是天气冷到铜猴子雕像的尾巴都给冻掉啦。
4. It’s freezing.天气特别冷，冷到结冰。
