解读: 这是询问别人是什么时候生日以及其回答的句型。
举一反三: — When is Lisa’s birthday? 丽莎的生日是什么时候?—It’s on May second.五月二日。
— When is your father’s birthday? 你爸爸的生日是什么时候?—It’s in July. 在七月。
2.— When were you born? 你什么时候出生的?— I was born on May 23rd.我是五月二十三日出生的。
解读: 这个句型用来询问某人是哪天出生的,答语要用具体的日期来回答。
举一反三: — When was Susan born? 苏珊是什么时候出生的?— She was born on August 21st. 她是八月二十一日出生的。
— When were the twins born? 这对双胞胎是什么时候出生的?— They were born on November 10th. 他们是十一月十日出生的。

二、教学重点、难点(Teaching points and difficulties)(一)重点(Points)正确运用“When is your birthday? ” “My birthday is ... .” 等进行口语交际。
(二)难点 (Difficulties)基数词和序数词的进一步运用。
日期表达中的序数词和年龄中的基数词,从句意上帮助学生进一步理解。
