T: Class, look at these pictures. Could you tell me what happened in each picture?

教学设计说明: 这个环节是听前的准备，通过对图片中人物经历的意外事故进行了解，使学生熟悉hurt one’s back, have a nosebleed和cut one’s finger，为下一步的听力做准备，尤其是下面听力里的材料有一个提前熟悉。

T： Well done. Now here are some treatments from a doctor. Can you tell me what

things the girl/boy should do, in the right order?

教学设计说明: 这个环节是听前的准备之一，通过对图片中人物经历的意外事故进行了解后，让学生熟悉相关事故处理的方法和先后顺序，并在此为口语能力的提升做准备。

T: Now, boys and girls, you have learned something about how to deal with

accidents. Now let’s listen to a conversation. Try catch what happened and what

the treatments are.

教学设计说明: 这个环节是听力练习。听完第一遍做1b，通过听来找问题；听完第二遍做1c, 来选择问题的正确处理方法；听完第三篇，需要完成表格，写出相应的问题或者处理方法。

Analysis of the Material 本节课的主要内容是新目标英语八年级下册第1单元第一课时，教材是以What’s the matter ?为中心话题，认识身体部位名词以及描述身体不适 ，学习和运用“What’s the matter ?”和“I have a…”让学生学会描述身体的不适 ，本课教材内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引出学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流，在学习活动中，学生通过交换对身体不适的描述 ，促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流，增进情谊。本单元在单元语言知识结构上起着自然过渡与延续的作用。为下册第二单元Offer help做好连接，打好基础。

八年级学生经过一年的学习，学生有了一定的英语基础，但学生的抽象思维能力低，注意力容易分散，因此我设计PPT，为学生学习创设真实情景，以增强学生学习英语兴趣。

今天我说课的课题是人教新目标英语 八年级Unit 7 What’s

the highest mountain in the world? Section B(1a-1d)一课时的内容。

《英语课程标准》提出：将学生的发展作为英语课程发展的出发点和归宿，制定了“语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略、文化意识”五位一体的课程功能，旨在帮助学生掌握学习英语的方法，培养学生终身学习的能力。这套教材采用了任务型语言教学思想（Task Based Language Teaching），强调语言学习的实践性，融汇了话题、交际功能和语言结构于一体，以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序引导学生“为用而学，在用中学，学了就用”。因此，对于这节课，我是这样考虑的：

一、教学内容分析

本单元的中心话题是：地理和自然。Section B在Section A的基础上，通过对自然和文化的比较过渡到了动物这一话题。本节课一方面巩固含有数字的事实描述，另一方面拓展学习更多表示比较的句式，如多倍数的表达。1a通过呈现大象和熊猫的信息，引导学生用比较句型将两种动物进行比较，为后面的听力做铺垫。1b-1c的听力内容主要围绕熊猫宝宝的描述，进一步学习度量的表达。内容浅显，目的让学生感知本单元目标语言和结构，1d是将听到的信息以对话的形式进行输出。 二、学情分析

在Section A学习中，学生学习了大数字的读法和表示度量的结构，积累了一定的目标语言，对于世界地理知识有些了解，根据这一时期学生的认知规律（对有兴趣的内容记得比较好），身心发展特点和知识能力水平的实际情况 （已具有一定听说读写能力）。在继续抓好听说读写这四项基本技能训练的同时，来增强学生语言交际能力、自主探究能力和小组合作学习能力。
