教材

分析 该部分是本册书第二单元的第一话题,本话题主要学习描述及询问人物外貌特征的表达,主要语法和句型有: “ I/ We / They / have…”, “She/ He / It has…”, “Do you / they

have…?”, “Dose he/ she have…?”等。同时还学习了描述人物外貌特征的基本形容词,如: small, big, round, long, wide, short。该部分还拓展并复习了上一个单元关于介绍国籍、名词单复数、形容词性无助代词的表达,祈祷巩固和衔接的作用。

学情

分析 经过第一单元的学习以后,同学们对英语的掌握程度已经出现了不同的水平,因此对英语课的反映有的同学是“吃不饱”而有的同学则是“吃不下”,因此在今后的英语教学中需要注意的是如何平衡地,适量地,设计课堂内容,让这些这些接受能力强的学生和接受能力差的学生同事都能学有所得也不会因为学习量太大而对英语失去兴趣。

教学

目标 1、能够识别出不同的语调,如陈述句和一般疑问句等;

2、能听懂描述及询问人物外貌、体格特征的表达;

3、能运用英语描述及询问人物外貌、体格特征的表达;

4、能在教室的指导下进行简单的角色表演;

5、能够正确地朗读对话,注意语音语调;

6、能够运用所学表达进行段落写作,描述人物外貌特征。

教学重、难点分析 1、学习并掌握have/ has 的用法

2、学习形容词: small, big, right, round, long, wide, short.

3、学习并掌握如何描述人的外貌特征

4、能够识别不同的语言、语调

5、能读懂描述人物的简单短文

教法

学法 1、1a,部分主要是以学生听并跟录音读为主,老师纠正学生错误发音。

2、在其余的练习部分,让学生们单独或者小组讨论之后完成练习,然后让学生读出自己的答案或者以小组形式把自己的答案表演出来。让同学们自己来判断所给出的答案正确与否,错的对其进行更正。难题由老师讲解后给出答案。

教学过程(包含师生活动) Section A Step 1 Review

1. Review the functional items in Unit 1 by using the following sentences to talk about

personal information. Students can ask and answer freely by themselves. For example:

What’s your name?

Where are you from?

How old are you?

What class are you in?

What’s your telephone number?

2. The teacher uses his/her own facial features as examples, saying “I’m…I

have…”let students understand and master the meaning of “have”. Write it down on the

blackboard and teach it.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Use the teacher’s facial parts, pictures and the sentence structure “what’s this?” to

teach and let students master the new words.

2. Ask and answer by using the following sentences between the teach and students:

T: I have a big head. Do you have…?

S: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

Ask different students the above question. Then invite some pairs to practice the dialog in

front of the class.

3. Listen to 1a and answer the question “who is the boy?” Learn and master the new

word.

Step 3 Consolidation

1. Listen to 1a and follow it; imitate the pronunciation and intonation. Then finish 1b.

2. Teach and let students master the sentence patterns of 1a:

(1) I have a small nose.

(2) ---Do you have big eyes?

---Yes, I do.

(3) Oh, I know.

(4) Yes, you’re right.

3. Listen to 1c; match the words with the picture. Then make sentences with have/has.

Example:

I have a big nose, but he/she has a small nose.

4. Listen and complete the sentences in 2a. Then read them aloud one by one.

5. Complete the sentences with have/has. And read them aloud one by one.

Section B Step 1 Review

1. The teacher uses the features of himself/herself and students by his/her side as

examples to review the names of the parts of the body. Teach new words.

2. Let students listen to 2 and find out who is Mr. Wang. Check the answers. Finish 2.

Step 2 Presentation

1.Let students look at the picture in 1a, and try to describe the appearance of the man.

S2: No, he doesn’t. He has small eyes.

2. Listen to 1a, and read after the tap. Ask students try to translate the dialog in 1a by

themselves. Then the teacher explains the aporias.

3. Ask students to make up a new conversation according to 1a, to talk about their

favorite people, and act it out in front of class.

Step 3 Consolidation

1. Listen to 1a, and fill in the blanks in 1b.

2. Competition. According to the picture in 3, each group to choose a student to write

down the name of body. The group write down the more words is the winner.

3. Rewrite the sentences with have/has in 4. Then make more sentences.

Section C Step 1 Review

1. Let’s play the game Bobby Says. In order to go over the name of body.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Listen to 1a and choose the right pictures. Play the tape one more time if the students

have difficulties.

2. Let’s students to translate the passage in 1a by themselves, under the teacher’s guide.

Then circle the adjectives which use to describe the children. And use them to retell

the passage. Finish 1c.

3. According to 1a, to write a passage to describe your partner’s looked.

Step 3 Consolidation

1. Match the pictures with the conversations in 3a. Then translate it and read it group by

group.

2. Try to spelling the words in 4a, according to the phonetic symbol. Then the teacher

checks the answers.

3. Ask and answer between students, like

S1: Do you have….?

S2: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

S2: Does B have…?

S3: Yes, he/she dose. /No, he/she doesn’t.

Section D

1. Listen to 1, and number the players in the pictures.
