是见面时表示欢迎的常用语,其中形容词nice可以用glad,pleased来进行替换。
翻译:见到你们很快乐。
Nice to meet you.=Glad to meet you.=Pleased to meet you.4.What/How about...?的用法意为“……怎么样?〞常用来询问他人的情况、提出建议等。
其中,about是介词,其后接名词、动名词、代词宾格等。

它分第一人称、第二人称和第三人称,每个人称又分单数和复数。
物主代词分形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词。
形容词性物主代词的用法和形容词的用法相似,具有形容词的性质。
在句中作定语,修饰名词,一般放在被修饰的名词前,不能单独使用。
如果名词前还有其他的定语,物主代词要放在其他定语的前面。
4.be动词用法(1)be动词(am, is, are)这三个动词常用做连系动词,在句子中起连接主语和表语的作用。
This is my mother. 这是我的妈妈。
I am nine. 我九岁了。
You are my good friend. 你是我的好朋友。
(2)be动词三种形式的使用主要取决于主语。
主语是第一人称I(我)时,用am,主语是第二人称you(你,你们)或名词及代词的复数时,用are,主语是第三人称单数it / he / she (它/他/她)或名词及代词单数时,用is.(3)am , is, are的意思是“是”,但不能处处翻译成“是”。

be (is, am, are ) be from = come from
2. This is Daming. He’s my friend. / These are my parents.
人物介绍:介绍一个人时由This, 介绍几个人时用These.
3. I’m in Class One, Grade Seven. 班级、年级与数字并列使用时都要大写。
4. –Nice to meet you. –Nice to meet you, too.
当谈到与前一个人有相同的事或行为时,用too “也”。
5. I’m not from English and I’m not English. / He’s from Beijing and he’s in my class. / I like running and dancing.
and 连词,用来连接语法上同类的词、短语或句子,表并列关系。
I can speak English, but I can’t s peak Japanese.
but 用来连接语法意义上转折的两个句子。
6. I’m in Class One with Daming and Lingling.
with 介词,“和”起伴随作用,后面可连接名词、宾格代词或名词短语,在句子中作壮语。
7. be (is, am, are) 动词的用法。
我(I)用am , 你(you) 用are, 见到is 准是他(她、它)。
复数也用are。
含be 动词句子的陈述句、否定句、一般疑问句
1)陈述句:This is my bag. / She is my daughter. / They are his parents.
2)否定句:含有be (is, am, are) 动词的句子在变否定句时,只要在be(is, am, are)
动词后加not
This is not my bag. / They are not my bag.
(is not = isn’t , are not = aren’t , 但是am not 无缩略形式)
3)一般疑问句:含有be (is, am, are) 动词的句子在变一般疑问句时,只要把be(is,
am, are)调到句子主语的前面且要大写,句末变问号。
Is he your brother? / Are they his grandparents?
8. 人称代词与物主代词:
1) 人称代词分主格和宾格,
注意:人称代词的主格在句中作主语,宾格作及物动词或介词的宾语。
因此判断何时用主格,何时用宾格,只需判断它在句中是作主语还是作宾语。
2) 物主代词:分形容词性物主代词与名词性物主代词
注意:形容词性物主代词相当于一个形容词,在句中作定语用,后面一定要接名词。
This is my pen. 这是我的钢笔。
名词性物主代词相当于一个名词,在句中作主语、表语,能单独使用。
Yours is new. This old bag is mine. “你的书包是新的,这个旧书包是我的。
”
名词性物主代词与形容词性物主代词之间的关系:名词性物主代词= 相应的形容词性物主代词+名词。
This is my bike. That is yours.(yours= your bike)

Lucy and Lily are from America. = Lucy and Lily are Americans.

15. 中西方姓名的结构:比较中国人的姓名和英美人姓名的不同。
首先要弄明白
“姓名”的意义区别:full name全名family name姓;given name 名
first name 姓(在中国);名(在英语国家)
last name名(在中国);姓(在英语国家)
即:In English, first name=given name,last name=family name
In Chinese,first name = family name,last name = given name
