In Britain, winter is not very cold and summer is not very hot. There is not a great difference between summer and winter. Why is this?
Because it is an island country. In winter the winds from the sea bring warm air to Britain. And in summer the winds from the sea bring
cool air to Britain.
The west winds blow over Britain all the year. They are wet winds. They bring rain to Britain all the year. The west of Britain is wetter than the east. The east of Britain is drier than the west.

五年级four season的英语范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Four Seasons: A Year-Round AdventureHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a fifth-grader who loves exploring the great outdoors. Today, I'm going to share with you my thoughts and experiences about the four amazing seasons we get to enjoy every year. Each season brings its own unique beauty, activities, and adventures, and I can't wait to take you on a journey through them all!Let's start with spring, my personal favorite! After the long, cold winter months, spring bursts onto the scene with its vibrant colors an篇2The Four SeasonsHello everyone! My name is Emily and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to tell you all about the four seasons we have here where I live. Each season is really cool and fun in its own way!First up is spring. Spring is awesome because after the long, cold winter, things start blooming and coming back to life again. The trees grow new green leaves, the flowers poke up out of the ground in tons of pretty colors, and baby animals like lambs and chicks are born. Everything seems so fresh and new in spring. One of my favorite things is when my mom plants her garden. We go to the nursery and pick out seeds for vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, carrots and more. Then we dig up the dirt and put the seeds in neat rows. It's so exciting watching the first little sprouts poke through a few weeks later! The weather in spring can be kind of crazy though. One day might be beautifully sunny and warm. Then the next day could be rainy and chilly again. The saying goes "April showers bring May flowers" because we need that rain to make the flowers bloom. By late May, it's starting to feel like real spring weather that makes you want to be outside all day.Next comes summer, which is probably the season kids look forward to most. No more school for a few months! We get to go to the pool or beach, have barbeques and picnics, go camping, catch fireflies at night, and do tons of other fun summer activities. The daylight hours are really long which gives you more time to play outside after dinner.Where I live, it gets pretty hot in the summer, especially in July and August. Sometimes it's so humid that you start sweating as soon as you walk outside! That's why it's always good to have a glass of cold lemonade or a popsicle on a sweltering summer day. One of my favorite summer traditions is the 4th of July fireworks show. I love the bright colors exploding in the night sky!My least favorite part of summer is how a lot of bugs come out like mosquitos and bees. Getting bitten by a mosquito is the worst because then you're itchy for days! But other than bugs, summer is such a fun, carefree time of year. When fall arrives, that means it's back to school. The nights start getting cooler and the leaves on the trees turn beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow before falling off. It's fun jumping into big piles of crunchy leaves! The air smells crisp and you might start seeing squirrels scurrying around, collecting nuts before winter.Fall is definitely a cozy season. We do things like go on hayrides, drink hot apple cider, carve pumpkins for Halloween, and bundle up in sweaters and jackets. My birthday is in October so I always look forward to having my party in the fall! One big downside is that the days start getting much shorter too. Finally, we have winter which is cold, cold, cold! The snowflakes start drifting down from the grey sky and cover the ground in a thick white blanket. Icicles hang from the roofs and you have to bundle up in a big coat, boots, hat and mittens anytime you go outside. The fun parts of winter are getting days off from school for snow days so you can go sledding and have snowball fights. Building a snowman is always one of my favorite activities, especially if he can have a carrot nose! On Christmas morning, it's magical waking up to find presents under the tree...hopefully some of them are sleds or ice skates to enjoy in the winter weather.Well, that's my overview of the four seasons we get here! From the new life of spring, to the warmth and fun of summer, to the beautiful colors of fall, to the snowy magic of winter...each season has its own unique篇3The Four SeasonsI love the changing seasons! Each one is so different and special in its own way. We get to experience new weather, holidays, and fun activities all year round. Let me tell you about the four seasons where I live.SpringSpring is when everything starts coming back to life after the cold winter months. The trees begin growing their green leaves again and pretty flowers blossom all over. I love seeing the flowers peek through the ground - my favorites are daffodils, tulips, and crocuses with their bright, happy colors. The weather gets warmer and warmer during spring until it's nice enough to play outside without wearing a heavy coat. One of the best things about spring is the spring break vacation from school! My family sometimes goes on a trip during that week off. Last year we went to the beach and played in the ocean waves. It was still a little chilly to swim, but we had fun making sandcastles and beachcombing for seashells. When I'm not on spring break, I enjoy watching the baby birds and bunnies that seem to be everywhere in springtime. The season brings so much new life and energy!SummerSummer is probably my favorite season of all. I love the hot temperatures and all the fun summer activities. School is out forthe whole summer, so my friends and I have so much free time. We play outside for hours every day - swimming, having water balloon fights, riding our bikes around the neighborhood, or just hanging out in the backyard. The fireflies come out to light up the warm summer nights. We have so much energy and stay up really late when it stays light out so long.My birthday is in June, so I always get to have a fun summer pool party or backyard barbeque with presents and cake and all my friends over. Fireworks are big for the 4th of July too - we have the best fireworks show in our town park! In the evenings, we might go to an outdoor concert or catch lighning bugs in a jar. My family always takes a trip during summer vacation too. Last summer we went camping in the mountains and slept in tents under a gorgeous starry sky. We roasted s'mores and told stories around the campfire. Those are the kinds of summer memories I'll never forget.FallAs much as I love summer, fall is a pretty amazing season too. The hot, humid weather starts cooling down into perfect sunny days with low humidity and chilly nights. The leaves on the trees turn into brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow - it's so pretty! We have fun jumping into the big leaf piles and makingleaf angels just like snow angels in winter. On the chilly nights, we'll drink hot apple cider and go on hayrides or walks in the neighborhood to look at everyone's decorations.Fall is definitely the best season for holidays! For Halloween, my friends and I spend weeks coming up with the perfect costumes. We dress up and go trick-or-treating all around the neighborhood, collecting pounds of candy in our pumpkin buckets. Our school has a big Halloween parade and party every year too. Then Thanksgiving comes at the end of November with delicious turkey, dressing, and pumpkin pie! My whole family gets together at my grandma's house to celebrate and we go around the table saying what we're thankful for. Fall is the coziest, most festive season!WinterLast but not least, there's winter. Where I live, we get pretty cold temperatures and often lots of snow in the winter months. Bundling up in warm coats, scarves, mittens, and boots is a must when going outside. I love waking up and looking out the window at a fresh, bright snow covering the yards and trees. My friends and I go sledding at the big hills around town and have epic snowball fights! When it's really cold, we might stay inside sipping hot chocolate and watching the snow fall. The best part of winter is the Christmas season in December! My family puts up a big Christmas tree in our house and decorates it with all our special ornaments and lights. We make Christmas cookies together and hang stockings over the fireplace. On Christmas morning, we wake up so early to open our presents from Santa! Some evenings we'll drive around looking at all the houses with elaborate light displays. We also always build a snow family - a big snowman plus a snow dog or snow baby or whatever else we can sculpt that year. I wish the winter and Christmas season could last forever! So those are the four seasons I experience every year. Each one has its own special holidays, weather, activities, and memories. I'm not sure which one I like best - I guess I'll just have to appreciate them all equally! What is your favorite season and why? Let me know!篇4The Magnificent Four SeasonsHave you ever stopped to appreciate the amazing cycle of the four seasons? Each season is so different and special in its own way. As the months go by, we get to experience thebreathtaking transformation of nature all around us. Let me tell you about the four seasons and why I love them all!First up is spring, which has to be one of my favorite times of the year. After the long, cold winter, it's like the whole world wakes up again. The air becomes warm and fresh, with a slight breeze that carries the sweet scent of blooming flowers. Everywhere you look, life is bursting forth. Trees sprout bright green leaves, colorful tulips poke out of the ground, and baby animals are born. It's a season of rebirth and renewal. One of the best things about spring is that my friends and I can finally spend more time outside instead of being cooped up indoors. We love playing at the park, riding our bikes around the neighborhood, and having warm weather picnics. Sometimes we'll even spot robins building their nests or bunnies hopping around. On rainy spring days, we get to splash in puddles and look for worms and pill bugs under rocks. Spring is full of opportunities for exploration and fun! After spring comes my second favorite season - summer! The hottest months are packed with so many adventures. Once school is out, we have the whole day to swim at the pool or beach, run through sprinklers, build sandcastles, and play games like tag or hide-and-seek outside until way past sunset. Summeris also the best time for things like camping, going to amusement parks, catching fireflies at night, and eating popsicles and ice cream to stay cool. While the intense summer heat can sometimes get a bit too much, I still adore this season for its lush, green beauty. Summer thunderstorms are amazing to watch too, with dazzling lightning and booming thunder. One of my family's traditions is to have a big backyard barbeque for the 4th of July and watch fireworks light up the night sky. With so much happening, summer always feels magical and energizing. As summer winds down, autumn starts to roll in with its rich, warm colors. The leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow, creating a picturesque outdoor scene. Cozy sweaters and jackets come out of the closet, and the air becomes crisp and cool. Jumping into piles of crunchy fallen leaves is one of my favorite fall pastimes! The season also brings delicious treats like freshly picked apples, cider, pumpkin pie, and roasted marshmallows over bonfires. In the fall, my family likes to go for nature walks and hikes to fully appreciate the gorgeous autumn scenery. We'll collect different types of leaves, pinecones, acorns, and other treasures from the forest floor. When we get home, we use them to makefun arts and crafts projects. Fall is also an exciting time with holidays like Halloween, when I get to dress up in a crazy costume and go trick-or-treating with my friends. Finally, there's the frosty magic of winter. While it gets very cold and snowy, I still love this season for its sparkling beauty. When the first flakes start falling, my neighborhood looks like a pristine winter wonderland. My friends and I spend hours outside sledding, making lopsided snowmen, and pelting each other with snowballs. After coming inside with rosy cheeks, we'll warm up with hot cocoa and candy canes. Some of my other favorite winter activities include ice skating, building gingerbread houses, baking Christmas cookies, and decorating our tree with lights and ornaments. Even shoveling snow can be fun, as strange as that sounds! Winter may be chilly, but it's also a season filled with cozy traditions and quality time with loved ones.As you can see, each season has its own fantastic array of sights, smells, temperatures, activities, and holiday celebrations. From the rebirth of spring to the festive cheer of winter, I cherish and look forward to the turning of the seasons each year. Nature's endless, cyclical beauty constantly renews itself in remarkable ways. What an incredible world we live in!篇5The Four Seasons: A Yearly AdventureThe world is full of amazing things, and one of the coolest is how nature changes with the seasons. Where I live, we get to experience four very different seasons every year – spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each one brings its own unique weather, activities, and beauty. Let me tell you about this awesome cycle!SpringAfter the long, cold months of winter, spring is when everything seems to wake up again. The air starts getting warmer, with lots of mild, sunny days. The snow melts and green grass begins poking through the ground. Trees grow new bright green leaves and pretty colored flowers start blooming everywhere. It's like the whole outdoor world is being reborn! One of my favorite spring events is when lots of baby animals are born on nearby farms. Lambs, calves, chicks, and bunnies appear, and they are just about the cutest things ever. I love watching them hop and run around so full of energy. Spring showers often follow the warmer temps, filling the air with fresh rainy smells and forming puddles for kids to splash in. The daysget longer too, giving more time to play outside after school before it gets dark.SummerWhen summer rolls around, that's when the real fun begins! The summer is the warmest season by far. The temperatures climb and we often get spells of hot, sunny weather. The trees are fully green and covered in leaves, flowers are blooming all over, and school is out for a few months. For a kid, those are some awesome conditions. My favorite part of summer is going to the pool, the beach, or just about any body of water to cool off from the heat. Swimming and splashing around is the perfect way to spend a hot summer day. The warm sunny weather means lots of outside activities like biking, hiking, camping, barbecuing, and just generally being out in nature as much as possible before it gets cold again. At night, the warm temperatures are perfect for fun summer traditions like catching fireflies in a jar, having bonfires and roasting marshmallows, or laying on the grass and watching meteor showers. There are also great summer events and holidays like the 4th of July with fireworks, fairs, and festivals. Some of my other top summer loves are slurping up ice creamand popsicles, running through sprinklers, and the general carefree feeling of summer vacation. Those long, hot, sunny days just seem to last forever!FallAfter those endless summer days, fall begins to creep in and the weather gets cooler and drier. But that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! Fall has some of the most beautiful scenery of the whole year as leaves start changing to brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows. They also falls off the trees, creating huge piles that are perfect for kicking and jumping into. That iconic crisp fall smell of leaves on the ground is one of my favorite aromas. The cooler fall temperatures are perfect for fun outdoor activities like hiking, camping, going on hayrides, picking apples or pumpkins, or just playing at the park without getting overheated. With the nice weather, kids can still be outdoors a bunch before the winter cold drives everyone inside. Other cozy fall traditions I look forward to are carving pumpkins, going to fall festivals, drinking hot apple cider, making s'mores, and cuddling up to read or watch scary movies as it gets dark earlier.Halloween is obviously one of the biggest highlights of fall too! Getting to dress up in a costume and go trick-or-treating for candy with friends is an experience every kid loves. We spendweeks planning our costumes and decorating our house for the spookiest night of the year. After the excitement of Halloween, fall leads right into the holiday season with Thanksgiving at the end. A few months off for a break is over and it's time to head back to school, but fall weather and activities make that篇6The Seasons: A Yearly Cycle of ChangeHi there! It's an incredible cycle that keeps repeating, bringing new changes and wonders with each passing season.Spring: The Season of RebirthLet's start with spring, my personal favorite! After the long, cold winter months, it's like the world comes back to life. The first signs of spring are the tiny buds appearing on the trees and the colorful flowers poking through the soil. Instead, we can shed our heavy coats and enjoy the gentle warmth of the sun on our faces. It's the perfect time to go outside and play without worrying about bundling up.Another highlight of spring is the return of many animals from their winter hibernation or migration. I love seeing the birds chirping happily as they build their nests and hearing the buzzing of bees as they pollinate the blossoming flowers. It's like the whole world is coming alive again!Summer: The Season of AdventureSummer is the season of endless fun and adventure! Building snowmen, having epic snowball fights, andgoing sledding down hills is a thrill like no other. And if we're really lucky, we might even get a snow day off from school!Another highlight of winter is the holiday season. Decorating the Christmas tree, exchanging gifts with loved ones, and sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace – it's a time of joy, family, and celebration. The twinkling lights and festive decorations make everything seem so warm and magical, even on the coldest of nights. The Cycle ContinuesAnd just like that, the seasons come full circle.
(三)知识目标:1)学生能够识读并使用dry, fall from, go on a picnic,make snowmen 等单词。

The Four SeasonsThe four seasons are a natural phenomenon that have fascinated and inspired people for centuries. Each season brings its own unique beauty and character, and the changing of the seasons is a constant reminder of the ever-evolving cycle of life. In this essay, we will explore the four seasons and the ways in which they shape our lives and the world around us.Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth. As the earth emerges from the cold and darkness of winter, the world comes alive with vibrant colors and the sound of new life. The trees bud with fresh green leaves, flowers bloom in a dazzling array of hues, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of blossoms. This is a time of hope and optimism, as we witness the transformation of the natural world and feel a sense of excitement for the months to come. For many, spring is a time to start anew, to plant gardens, and to enjoy the warm, sunny days.Summer is a season of warmth and abundance. The long, bright days and the lush, green landscapes provide the perfect backdrop foroutdoor adventures and leisurely activities. From swimming in cool bodies of water to picnicking in the park, summer offers endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. The heat of the sun can be intense, but it also brings a sense of energy and vitality. This is a time when the earth is at its most bountiful, with fruits and vegetables ripening in the fields and gardens. For many, summer is a time to slow down, to savor the simple pleasures of life, and to reconnect with nature.Autumn, or fall, is a season of transition and transformation. As the days grow shorter and the temperatures begin to cool, the landscape undergoes a stunning metamorphosis. The trees, once lush and green, burst into a dazzling display of reds, oranges, and yellows, creating a breathtaking natural tapestry. This is a time of harvest, as farmers and gardeners reap the rewards of their hard work. It is also a time of introspection and reflection, as we prepare for the coming winter and the changes it will bring. For many, autumn is a favorite season, offering a chance to enjoy the beauty of the natural world and the cozy comforts of home.Winter is a season of rest and rejuvenation. As the earth slows down and the landscape becomes blanketed in snow, we are invited to slow down as well. The long, dark nights and the chill in the air can be challenging, but they also offer opportunities for quiet contemplation and inner growth. This is a time when we can focuson our own needs, whether that means curling up with a good book, engaging in cozy indoor activities, or simply taking the time to appreciate the beauty of the season. For many, winter is a time to recharge and prepare for the cycle to begin anew.Throughout the year, the four seasons offer a constant reminder of the rhythms of nature and the ways in which they shape our lives. Each season has its own unique beauty and character, and the transitions between them are a source of wonder and fascination. Whether we are enjoying the warmth of summer, the crisp coolness of autumn, the stillness of winter, or the vibrant renewal of spring, the four seasons are a testament to the enduring beauty and resilience of the natural world.。

英语作文介绍四个季节天气特点和可以做什么全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Four Seasons and Fun Things to DoHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the four seasons we have - spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each season is really cool and has its own special kind of weather and fun activities to enjoy.Let's start with spring! Spring is when everything starts waking up from the cold winter. The temperatures get warmer and warmer. Lots of rain falls from the clouds. All the plants and trees start growing new leaves and flowers bloom everywhere. It's so pretty! In spring, it's fun to go outside and fly a kite on a windy day. You can also have a picnic in the park and watch the baby animals like bunnies and chicks hop around. Yum, spring is when we get to eat strawberries and lemonade too! After spring comes summer, which is my favorite season! Summer is hot, hot, hot with lots of sunny days. Schools are closed so we have no classes and can play outside all day. It's perfect weather for going to the beach or swimming in a pool. Ilove making sandcastles and riding the waves in the ocean. Sometimes my family has a barbecue and we roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit. The 4th of July is in summer, which means fireworks! At night we lay on blankets and watch all the bright, colorful fireworks exploding in the sky. Summertime is also great for baseball, running through sprinklers, and eating popsicles. When summer ends, fall arrives with cooler temperatures. The leaves on the trees turn beautiful shades of red, yellow, and orange before falling to the ground. Crunchy piles of leaves are so fun to jump in! Fall is harvest season, when farmers pick apples, pumpkins, and other crops. My class always goes on a field trip to an apple orchard where we can pick apples right off the trees and drink fresh apple cider. For Halloween in fall, we carve jack-o-lanterns from pumpkins and go trick-or-treating in fun costumes. Thanksgiving happens in fall too, and we get to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie with our family. Finally, winter comes with its freezing cold weather and snowy days. I love sledding down big hills covered in snow and having snowball fights with my friends. We make snow angels on the ground by moving our arms and legs back and forth. Sometimes my dad makes an awesome snow fort for us to playin. When it's really, really cold, we go ice skating at the frozen lake near our house. Inside, we drink hot chocolate with marshmallows and watch the snowflakes fall outside the window. The best part of winter is celebrating Christmas! We decorate a big tree with lights and ornaments, open presents from Santa, and spend time together as a family. Those are the four seasons of the year - spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each one brings different weather and fun activities to enjoy. I love the changing of the seasons and getting to experience nice warm days, hot summer sun, crisp cool air, and beautiful snowy landscapes. What's your favorite season?篇2The Four Seasons and What We Can DoThere are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each season has different weather, and we can do different fun activities depending on the season. Let me tell you about the four seasons!SpringSpring is when everything starts to wake up from the long, cold winter. The weather gets warmer, and plants and trees startto grow again. You can see new flowers blooming and baby animals being born. Isn't that exciting? In the spring, the weather is mild, which means it's not too hot and not too cold. It's just right! The temperature is usually between 50°F and 70°F (10°C and 21°C). Sometimes, it can be a little rainy, but that's okay because the rain helps the plants grow.During spring, there are lots of fun things we can do outside. One of my favorite things is going on a nature walk and looking for signs of spring, like budding trees, colorful flowers, and birds building their nests. We can also fly kites on a breezy day, have a picnic in the park, or play outdoor games like hopscotch and jump rope.SummerAfter spring comes summer, which is the warmest season of the year. The weather is hot and sunny most of the time, with temperatures often reaching 80°F or even 90°F (27°C to 32°C). It's the perfect time to wear shorts, t-shirts, and sandals!Summer is a great time for all kinds of fun outdoor activities. We can also have water balloonfights, go on hikes, or have barbecues and cookouts with our friends and families.Another fun thing to do in the summer is to go camping! We can pitch a tent, roast marshmallows over a campfire, and sleep under the stars. Some people even go on road trips or vacations during the summer when school is out.Fall (Autumn)After the hot summer, fall (or autumn) arrives, and the weather starts to get cooler again. The leaves on the trees change from green to beautiful colors like red, orange, and yellow. It's also a time when many fruits and vegetables are harvested from farms and gardens. In the fall, the temperatu res are usually between 50°F and 70°F (10°C and 21°C), which is perfect for wearing cozy sweaters and jackets. The weather can be a bit rainy or windy sometimes, but that just means we can jump in puddles and play in the fallen leaves! One of the best things about fall is going apple picking or pumpkin picking at a farm. We can make delicious pies, cider, and other treats with the apples and pumpkins we pick. We canalso go on hayrides, visit a corn maze, or have a bonfire and roast marshmallows.WinterFinally, we have winter, which is the coldest season of the year. The weather is usually below freezing, with temperatures ranging from 20°F to 40°F (-7°C to 4°C). It often snows during the winter, and we might see icicles hanging from the roofs of houses. While it's too cold to do many outdoor activities in the winter, there are still lots of fun things we can do! One of the best things is playing in the snow – building snowmen, making snow angels, and having snowball fights. If there's enough snow, we can go sledding or tubing down hills, which is super exciting!Inside, we can stay warm and cozy by the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate and reading books. We can also go ice skating at an indoor or outdoor rink, or go skiing or snowboarding if there are mountains or hills nearby.Of course, one of the most special parts of winter is celebrating holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's Eve. We get to decorate our homes, exchange gifts with our loved ones, and enjoy special traditions and foods. No matter what the season, there are always fun things to do and enjoy! Each season has its own unique weather and activities, and that's what makes the changing of the seasons so exciting. What's your favorite season?篇5The Four Seasons and What We Can DoHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the four seasons we have in a year. Each season is different and special in its own way. I'll describe the weather and some fun things we can do in each season.Let's start with spring! Spring is when everything starts growing again after the cold winter. The weather gets warmer and sunnier. We often have rain showers in spring which helps make the flowers bloom. My favorite flowers are tulips, daffodils, and cherry blossoms. The trees grow new green leaves. Birds build nests and have baby birds. It's so neat to see the baby birds grow up.In spring, it's great to play outside more after being cooped up inside all winter. We can go to the park and play on the swings, slides, and monkey bars. Sometimes my friends and I have picnics outside and fly kites on breezy spring days. At home, we can plant fruits, vegetables, and flowers in our garden. I love getting dirty while digging holes to put the seeds and seedlings in the soil. Then we water the garden and watch the plants grow bigger every day. It's amazing! After spring comes summer. Summer is my favorite season because there's no school and the weather is so nice and warm. During summer, the temperatures are hot and the sun shines brightly most days. We have occasional thunderstorms which are exciting with booming thunder and bright flashes of lightning. Summer is a great time to go swimming at the pool or beach. I love splashing around and doing cannonballs into the cool water. We also go on vacation during summer break and get to travel to new places.Lots of fun summer activities happen outside like having backyard barbecues, going camping, playing outdoor sports like baseball and soccer, running through sprinklers, and having lemonade stands. At night in the summer, we catch fireflies in jars with holes punched in the lid. It's so magical to see them glowing! Some families go see firework shows on 4th of July too.I always make a summertime bucket list with all the fun stuff I want to do.When summer ends, fall arrives with cooler temperatures. Fall is sometimes called autumn too. The leaves on the trees change to beautiful colors like red, orange, yellow, and brown before falling to the ground. We rake them into big piles and then jump and play in the leaf piles! Apples, pumpkins, squash, and corn are harvested from farms in fall. We go to pumpkin patches and apple orchards for fun fall activities. At Halloween in fall, we carve jack-o-lanterns by scooping out the insides of pumpkins and carving funny or scary faces in the front. Then we get dressed up in costumes and gotrick-or-treating to get lots of candy from neighbors! Fall is also when we go back to school after summer break. After fall comes my least favorite season - winter. Winter is very cold with freezing temperatures, ice, snow, and strong winds. We have to bundle up in warm coats, hats, scarves, and mittens to stay warm outside. When it snows, we go sledding down hills, have intense snowball fights, and build snowmen and snow forts. If a lot of snow falls, we sometimes get days off from school for snow days which is exciting! In winter, we spend more time inside doing inside activities. We put up holiday decorations and bake cookies, cakes, and pies. My favorite is making gingerbread houses with my family. We also go ice skating on frozen ponds or indoor skating rinks. When it's really cold and nasty outside, we cuddle up inside under warm blankets drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and watching movies together.Well, those are the four seasons we have each year where I live. They each have their own type of weather and fun activities we can do. Which season do you like best? I go back and forth between summer and fall as my favorites. Spring is pretty great too with all the new growth happening. And even winter isn't so bad with playing in the snow and baking holiday treats. I feel lucky we get to experience the four seasons in a year. It makes life more interesting when the weather is constantly changing. Let me know what you think of the seasons!篇6The Four SeasonsDid you know there are four seasons in one year? They are spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each season is different and special in its own way! Let me tell you all about them.SpringSpring is when everything starts to wake up from its long winter sleep. The cold winter winds stop blowing and the air gets warmer. Trees grow new green leaves and pretty flowers bloom. My favorite spring flowers are tulips, daffodils, and crocuses. They are so colorful and cheerful! The weather in spring can be unstable. Some days are sunny and nice, other days are rainy. April showers bring May flowers as the saying goes! I love playing outside on the nice spring days. My friends and I have fun playing jump rope, hopscotch, and riding our bikes around the neighborhood. Spring is also a great time to fly kites since there are lots of breezy days. One of the best parts of spring is watching baby animals being born. Little lambs, chicks, and calves arrive in barns and fields. They are adorable frolicking and exploring the world for the first time. When it's warmer, my family likes to have picnics at the park and grill hotdogs and hamburgers. Yum!SummerAfter spring, summer rolls around and that's when things really heat up! The summer sun feels warm on my skin and the sky is bright blue. Summer days are long since the sun rises early and doesn't set until late at night. That's perfect for spending as much time outside as possible. My favorite summer activity is swimming! I lovecannon-balling into pools and splashing around. If we're near a lake or the ocean, that's even better for swimming. The water is so refreshing on a hot summer's day. Another fun summer activity is having water balloon fights with friends in thebackyard. We run around soaking each other with water balloons and laughing like crazy.Summer means school is out and my friends and I have tons of free time. We play outdoor games like tag, kickball, andhide-and-seek. We set up lemonade stands to make extra pocket money. My family likes going to amusement parks and riding the crazy roller coasters in the summer too. After being cooped up inside all winter, it's awesome to spend so much time outdoors in the warm summer months. One of my favorite summer traditions is the 4th of July holiday to celebrate America's birthday. We have cookouts and watch fireworks light up the night sky in a big colorful display. Summer nights are fun for roasting marshmallows over a campfire and stargazing with my parents. I never want summer to end!FallAfter those long, hot summer days, fall arrives and cools things down a bit. The leaves on the trees start changing into brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow. Isn't fall foliage gorgeous? I love raking the fallen leaves into big piles then jumping right into them! That crunching sound leaves make when you land in them is so satisfying.Fall brings lots of fun holidays and celebrations. Halloween is awesome for dressing up in costumes and goingtrick-or-treating to collect lots of candy from neighbors! I always try to come up with the coolest and scariest costume ideas. Then in late November, we celebrate Thanksgiving with a huge turkey dinner and spend quality time with extended family.Football season also begins in fall which is really exciting. My whole family loves watching football together, cheering on our favorite teams, and munching on snacks like chips and buffalo wings. If it's a nice autumn day, we'll even toss around a football in the backyard or play fun games of touch football. Other fall activities I enjoy are going on hayrides, finding our way through corn mazes, and visiting pumpkin patches to pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving jack-o-lanterns.The weather starts getting chillier in fall so we have to bundle up in sweaters, jackets, and scarves. Sometimes we'll have bonfires in our backyard and roast hot dogs and makes'mores over the fire. As fall turns into winter, we get our first snowfalls which are really pretty!WinterWhen winter arrives, everything is covered in a beautiful blanket of white snow! The cold air nips at my nose and I can seemy breath when I go outside. Hot chocolate tastes extra delicious to help warm me up after being out in the freezing temperatures.Snow days are the best! When there's lots of heavy snowfall, school is cancelled and we kids get to stay home. We bundle up in our warmest snow clothes like thick coats, boots, hats, and mittens then head outdoors. My friends and I spend hours making awesome snow forts and having epic snowball fights. We make snow angels and try catching snowflakes on our tongues too. After hours of snowy playtime, we go inside for hot cocoa and snacks by the toasty fireplace.Other fun winter activities are sledding, building snowmen, and making snow ice cream! The nearby hills are perfect for zooming down on a sled. We have contests to see whose sled can go the fastest. When there's fresh powdery snow, we make different kinds of snow angels and funny snowmen sculptures. Sometimes we'll even eat the clean snow like a sweet cold treat. The holidays also take place during the winter months which is awesome. Around Christmas time, we decorate our home with pretty lights, a tree with ornaments, and hang stockings for Santa to fill with presents. On Christmas morning, my siblings and I excitedly wake up early to see what Santa brought us underthe tree! We spend time with our whole family, eat a big holiday dinner, and exchange gifts with each other. New Year's is also fun for staying up late, watching the ball drop at midnight, drinking sparkling cider, and celebrating the fresh start of a new year.I try to enjoy the winter as much as I can because before you know it, spring will be here again! I love when the cycle starts over with new plants blooming and warm sunshine returning. Those are the four seasons that make up one full。

This is why some people say that autu mn is a seas on of sad ness and Ion eli ness, but I don't think it is true. It is the seas on for harvests. The world is full of laughi ng and singing.
Win ter is cold. In some n orther n coun tries, snow beg ins to fall and most people have to stay in doors. But in tropical coun tries the weather is still warm and the people go out of doors as usual. Win ter is the seas on
