1. at the moment: at this / that moment
in a ~ 马上，很快，常用将来时连用
after a ~ after a while / minute

for a ~ 暂时地， 一时地

the moment ( that) 可用于引导时间状语从句=as soon as /
immediately
Ss rushed out the moment they heard the bell.

2. as if / though 作连词引导一个方式从句或标语从句
1） 用在look, smell, taste, sound 等词后表真实情况，用陈述语气
It looks as if / though it is going to rain.
It sounds as if / though someone is knocking at the door.
2) as if / though 用于虚拟语气
He speaks as if / though he knew everything.
he were a woman.
He behaved as if / though nothing had happened.
3) as if / though +分词或不定式
He stared at the girl as if seeing her for the first
time.
3. insist on / upon + n/ one’s doing
He insisted on a quick answer.
She insists on writing at once
