四年级下册英语第一单元作文范文10篇I'm sorry, but I cannot provide a document with ten sample essays about the first unit in the fourth-grade English textbook. However, I can offer you a sample essay on the topic. Here is an example:Title: My Favorite AnimalMy favorite animal is the elephant. Elephants are the largest land animals in the world and are known for their strong memory and intelligence. They are majestic creatures that inhabit the savannas and forests of Africa and Asia.Elephants have long trunks that they use to eat, drink, and communicate with other elephants. They also have large ears that help them cool down in the hot weather. Elephants are herbivores, which means they only eat plants. They consume a variety of vegetation such as grass, leaves, and fruits. One of the things I love most about elephants is their social behavior. They live in groups called herds, which are led by a matriarch, usually the oldest and wisest female elephant. Elephants are very protective of their young, and the whole herd works together to keep them safe.I also admire elephants for their strength and endurance. Despite their huge size, they are incredibly agile and can run at speeds of up to 40 km/h. They have been used for centuries by humans for various tasks like carrying heavy loads and logging. In conclusion, elephants are amazing animals that fascinate me with their intelligence, social behavior, and physical capabilities. 福建小学生英文比赛作文英文:I remember the first time I participated in an English competition in my elementary school in Fujian. It was a nerve-wracking experience because I had to speak in English in front of a large audience. However, I was determined to do my best and showcase my English skills.During the competition, I was asked to talk about my favorite hobby. I chose to talk about playing the piano because it's something I'm passionate about. I spoke about how playing the piano helps me relax and express my emotions. I also mentioned how it requires a lot ofpractice and dedication, but the feeling of accomplishment when I master a new piece is incredibly rewarding. After I finished speaking in English, I took a deep breath and then repeated everything I said in Chinese. It was a bit challenging to switch between the two languages, but I managed to convey the same message effectively.中文:我记得第一次参加福建小学的英语比赛时,那是一次让人紧张的经历,因为我必须在观众面前用英语演讲。

英语四年级下册沪教版第5单元作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Title: A Day in the Life of a Busy BeeHi there! My name is Lily, and I'm a fourth-grader at Sunnyville Elementary School. Today, I want to share with you a typical day in my life, which is as busy as a hardworking bee!It all starts when my alarm clock buzzes at 7 a.m. sharp. I rub my eyes, stretch my arms, and get out of bed. After a quick visit to the bathroom to freshen up, I head to the kitchen for breakfast. Mom always has my favorite cereal and a glass of orange juice waiting for me. While I munch away, she packs my lunchbox with a delicious and healthy meal.At 8 a.m., I'm all set to leave for school. Dad drives me there, and we chat about our plans for the day. Sometimes, we even sing along to the radio – although Dad's singing might not be the best!Once I arrive at school, the real fun begins! My first class is English, where we're learning about different cultures andtraditions around the world. I love how Mrs. Parker makes the lessons so engaging with games, songs, and stories.Next up is Math, which used to be my least favorite subject. But ever since Mr. Johnson started using interactive whiteboards and hands-on activities, I've become quite good at solving problems and understanding concepts. After a short recess break, where I play tag with my friends on the playground, it's time for Science. We're currently learning about plants and their life cycles. Last week, we even got to plant our own seeds and watch them grow! It's amazing to see how a tiny seed can transform into a beautiful flower or a tasty vegetable. Then comes Art class, which is always a blast! We get to explore different mediums like painting, drawing, and sculpting. Just last month, we learned how to make origami animals, and I created the cutest little paper crane. Before I know it, it's lunchtime! I sit with my best friends, Emma and Max, and we chat about our day while enjoying our packed lunches. Sometimes, we trade snacks or play a quick game of "Would You Rather?" during the break. After lunch, we have Physical Education, which is my favorite class of the day. We play all sorts of games and sports, like basketball, soccer, and even gymnastics! It's a great way to stay active and have fun at the same time. The last two classes of the day are Social Studies and Chinese. In Social Studies, we learn about different countries, cultures, and historical events. It's fascinating to explore how people around the world live and the stories behind their traditions. In Chinese class, we practice reading, writing, and speaking the language. It's challenging, but I'm proud of how much I've improved! Finally, at 3:30 p.m., the school bell rings, signaling the end of the day. Mom or Dad picks me up, and we head home. Once there, I have a light snack and start on my homework. After completing my assignments, I get to enjoy some playtime or read a book.Dinner is always a family affair, where we gather around the table and share our day's adventures. Mom is an amazing cook, and she whips up delicious meals that make my mouth water! After dinner, it's time for a relaxing bath and then off to bed. But before I drift off to dreamland, I like to reflect on all theexciting things I learned and experienced during the day. Being a fourth-grader is tough work, but it's also a lot of fun!And that's a typical day in the life of this busy bee. Tomorrow, I'll wake up and do it all over again, ready to soak up new knowledge and create more wonderful memories. School days might be tiring, but they're also filled with adventures, friends, and opportunities to grow. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!篇2My Favorite SeasonSummer is my favorite season of the year! I really love the warm weather and all the fun activities you can do outdoors. Let me tell you about some of the things I enjoy most about summer.First of all, summer means no more school for a few months. Don't get me wrong, I actually like school a lot. But taking a break from classes, homework, and getting up early is really nice.I get to sleep in late and not have to follow a schedule. My parents still make me do some studying over summer though, so I don't forget everything I learned. The weather in summer is just perfect in my opinion. It's sunny, warm, and the perfect temperature to swim or play outside all day. We can go to the beach, have picnics, ride bikes, or just hang out in the backyard. My friends and I have set up a lemonade stand a few summers in a row. We make fresh lemonade and sell cups for 50 cents each. It's a great way to make a little spending money.Speaking of money, I don't get a weekly allowance over summer vacation. But I can earn cash by doing extra chores around the house. My parents pay me for things like washing the car, pulling weeds, or helping my dad with yard work. I'm saving up to buy a new video game! There are so many fun activities and places to go in the summer time. My family always goes camping at least once over the break. We pack up tents, sleeping bags, camp stoves, and all our gear. We find a campsite in the mountains or forests a few hours from the city. We go hiking, build campfires, cook meals outdoors, and go stargazing at night. I love falling asleep in the tent listening to the sounds of nature. If we don't feel like camping that year, we'll go on a road trip instead. We'll drive to cool places we've never been before and stay in hotels or rent a cabin somewhere. Two summers ago wedrove all the way to Yellowstone National Park. It took almost three days of driving, but it was awesome! We saw buffalo, geysers, and the famous Yellowstone canyon and waterfalls. My little brother got quite carsick from the long drive though.Another thing I really love about summer is that it stays light out really late. The sun doesn't go down until after 8 pm, so we have a lot more daylight hours. That's great for outdoor activities like sports. My friends and I play basketball, soccer, or just hang out at the park almost every evening in summer. The park has a basketball court, playground, and big grassy area that's perfect for running around.Sometimes we'll have a picnic dinner at the park if our parents join us. They'll pack a cooler with sandwiches, juice boxes, carrot sticks, and other snacks. We eat outside at the picnic tables and then play games like frisbee, tag, or hide-and-seek until it gets dark.Summer days just seem to last forever compared to the rest of the year. I wake up super early because the sun comes up around 5:30 am. I'm usually outside playing by 7 or 8 am. My parents have to call me in for lunch and dinner because I never want to come inside! Before I know it, it's 9 pm and still light out. Time moves so slowly, which is great. The only bad things about summer are the bugs and the heat waves. Mosquitoes always leave me with itchy red bumps all over. And some summer days can get so hot and humid that you just want to stay inside with the air conditioning going. But those days are pretty rare. Most of the time, it's just perfect summer weather!I try to soak up as much summer as I possibly can when it's here. I don't take a single day for granted. Before you know it, autumn will arrive. The leaves will start changing colors, dropping temperatures, and I'll be back at school before I know it. So I really篇3Title: My Exciting Adventure at the Science MuseumLast Saturday, my parents took me and my little sister to the Science Museum. I was so excited because I love learning about science and seeing all the cool exhibits. We arrived at the museum early in the morning, and there were already a lot of people there. The first thing we did was go to the Space Exhibition. It was so amazing! There were models of different planets, rockets, and even a real piece of the moon! I learned that the moon doesn'thave any air or water, and it's covered in craters from asteroids hitting it. I also saw a spacesuit that real astronauts wear when they go to space. It looked really heavy and uncomfortable, but I still thought it was cool.Next, we went to the Dinosaur Exhibition. This was my favorite part! There were huge skeletons of different dinosaurs, like the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Triceratops. I couldn't believe how big they were! My sister got a little scared when she saw the T-Rex skeleton, but I thought it was awesome. We also saw fossils of dinosaur eggs and footprints. It was like going back in time millions of years! After that, we visited the Energy Exhibition. This one was all about different types of energy, like electricity, wind power, and solar power. We saw a giant wind turbine that was spinning really fast, and we learned how it generates electricity. There was also a cool interactive exhibit where you could pedal a bike to power a light bulb. I pedaled as fast as I could, and the light bulb got really bright! One of the most exciting parts of the museum was the Earthquake Simulator. We got to experience what it feels like during an earthquake! The room started shaking, and we had to hold onto the railings. It was scary at first, but then it becamereally fun. My sister got a little scared and started crying, but my parents told her it was just a simulation and everything was okay. After the Earthquake Simulator, we went to the Science Show. A scientist did all sorts of cool experiments with fire, electricity, and dry ice. He even made a small explosion using baking soda and vinegar! It was so loud and smoky, but it was really cool to watch. I learned that science can be really exciting and fun.By the time we finished exploring the museum, we were all really tired. My sister fell asleep in her stroller, and my parents had to carry her to the car. I didn't want to leave because there was still so much to see, but my parents promised we could come back again soon.On the way home, I couldn't stop talking about all the cool things I saw and learned at the Science Museum. I learned that science is everywhere around us, and it's so important to understand how things work. I also learned that science can be really fun and exciting, and there's always something new to discover.I can't wait to go back to the Science Museum again. Next time, I want to see the Chemistry Exhibition and the RoboticsExhibition. Who knows, maybe I'll even become a scientist one day!篇4My Favorite Season Is SpringSpring is my favorite season of the year! I love the warm sunshine, the blooming flowers, and all the baby animals that are born. Everything seems to come alive again after the cold, dark winter. Let me tell you all about the wonderful things that happen in spring where I live. One of the best parts is when the trees start growing their new green leaves again. In late winter, all the trees look so bare and spindly with their branches sticking out every which way. But then in early spring, you start noticing little buds appearing on the tips of the branches. The buds get bigger and bigger until they finally burst open into bright green leaves. It's amazing to watch the trees go from bare to full of leaves in just a few weeks. My favorite is when the cherry blossom trees bloom with their pretty pink and white flowers. I wish they could stay that way all year! The flowers are another highlight of spring. Snow drops are the first to poke through the ground, so tiny and delicate. Thencome daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, and many more. My mom always plants a flower garden and I help her pick out different seeds and bulbs. We have to be careful with the early blooms though, because if it gets really cold again they can get frostbite.I learn about that in science class. Last year, a late freeze killed all of our tulips before they could bloom. I was so disappointed! This year I hope we have nice mild spring temperatures.Springtime also means baby animals everywhere! Cats and dogs have litters of puppies and kittens. At the farm down the road, lambs are born to the sheep and calves are born to the cows. My grandparents have a farm and once I got to watch a mama pig give birth to a whole litter of tiny pink piglets. They were so cute but also a little gross, all slimy and squealing! The best though is seeing the baby birds hatch from their eggs. We have a birdhouse in our backyard and every year a family of birds moves in. The parents are constantly flying back and forth gathering bits of grass and worms to build their nest and feed the hungry chicks. I like to sit quietly and watch them through my bedroom window. With springtime comes the chance to play outside again after a long winter stuck indoors. No more bundling up in heavy coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. Instead, we get to wear lightjackets or even short sleeves on sunny days. The neighborhood children all come out of their houses and we can ride our bikes, play freeze tag and hopscotch, or just run around. Sometimes we have water balloon fights which always end up with everyone soaking wet but laughing hysterically. The park fills up with kids on the swingsets and jungle gyms while their parents chat on the benches. Spring gives us that feeling of joy and freedom after being penned up all winter.Another thing I look forward to in spring is the return of baseball season. I play on a Little League team and our first practices start in early March, before it's really warm enough in my opinion. We have to bundle up in sweatshirts and pants while we do drills and learn to field grounders or pop flies. But I don't mind because I love baseball so much. That Smell of freshly cut grass and thethwacksound of the bat hitting the ball is music to my ears. My team, the Red Sox, actually won the city championship last year which was so exciting!Spring also means Easter candy and fun Easter traditions like decorating eggs and Easter egg hunts. My grandma always comes over and we color hard-boiled eggs together with thosefun little dye tablets. She lets me make neat designs by using a wax crayon to draw on the eggs first before dye them. The designs stay white while the rest of the egg gets colored, creating really artistic patterns. Then we have an Easter egg hunt in the backyard where my parents hide eggs filled with jellybeans and chocolate. Whoever finds the most wins a big chocolate bunny! Of course, eating all that candy makes me a little hyper but it's worth it.After the long, cold winter, Spring is a time of reawakening and renewal. I feel energized and happy, like anything is possible in the fresh new season. My birthday is in May so spring is also an extra special time of celebrating another year of growing up. Everywhere you look, there are reminders that life is bursting forth again. The trees are turning green, flowers are blooming in bright colors, birds are singing and building nests for their babies. Yes, spring is definitely the most wonderful time of year! I can't wait for winter to be over so we can篇5My Favorite AnimalOne of my favorite animals is the panda bear. Pandas are so cute and cuddly! Their black and white fur looks so soft and fuzzy.I would love to be able to hug and pet a real panda someday.Pandas originally came from the mountain forests in central China. Their main habitat used to be in Sichuan Province, but now there are also some pandas living in other provinces like Shaanxi and Gansu. Pandas are an endangered species, which means there are not very many of them left in the wild. This makes me really sad because I don't want pandas to disappear completely from the world. It is hard for pandas to survive because of a few different reasons. One big problem is that pandas have a very specialized diet. They only eat different kinds of bamboo plants. If the bamboo forests where they live get destroyed by things like fires or people cutting down trees, then the pandas don't have anything to eat. Another issue is that pandas have trouble breeding and don't make very many baby cubs. Sometimes mother pandas even accidentally crush or abandon their babies because the babies are so tiny and helpless. To try to save the panda population, people have set up special panda reserves and breeding centers in China. At these centers, the pandas are protected and their habitats arepreserved. Scientists and caretakers help feed the pandas a nutritious diet of different bamboo varieties. They also help breed pandas and take very good care of the panda mothers and babies. Some cubs that are raised at the centers get prepared to eventually be released into the wild when they are stronger and bigger. At the panda reserves, visitors can learn all about pandas through educational exhibits. Some of the reserves even have enclosures where people can watch the real pandas playing, eating bamboo, and taking naps. I went to one of these reserves in Chengdu with my class on a field trip and it was amazing! We got to see baby panda cubs that were only a few months old. They looked like tiny fluffballs stumbling around. We also saw some adult pandas lazily munching on bamboo branches. Even though they seemed pretty sleepy, it was still wonderful to observe the pandas in person.I hope that everyone will work hard to protect pandas and their habitats so these unique bears never go extinct. Pandas are such gentle creatures and they bring a smile to anyone who sees them. The world would be less amazing without the beloved giant panda! I want to do my part by learning more about conservation efforts. Maybe I'll even choose a career as ascientist or zookeeper someday so I can directly help endangered species like the panda. For now, I try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible at home and school. Every little bit helps save the environment for all Earth's precious animals.篇6My Memorable Summer VacationLast summer, I had the most amazing vacation! My family and I went on a road trip to Yellowstone National Park in the United States. It was my first time visiting such a huge national park, and I was super excited! The journey began when we left our home in Shanghai early one morning. We drove for many hours, crossing several provinces before finally reaching the park entrance. Along the way, we saw beautiful landscapes like mountains, rivers, and forests. It was like being in a giant outdoor museum! When we arrived at Yellowstone, the first thing that caught my attention was the incredible geysers. A geyser is a hot spring that shoots water high into the air from underground. The most famous one is called Old Faithful because it erupts at regular intervals. We waited patiently for it to erupt, and when it did, ahuge tower of steaming water burst out from the ground! It was an incredible sight that left me speechless.Apart from the geysers, Yellowstone is also home to many different kinds of wildlife. We saw huge bison grazing on the grasslands. They looked so gentle and peaceful, but our guide told us to keep our distance as they can be dangerous if provoked. We also spotted elk, deer, and even a family of black bears from a safe distance away! Seeing all these amazing animals in their natural habitats was such a thrilling experience. One of the highlights of our trip was hiking to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It's a massive canyon with a gorgeous waterfall called Lower Falls. The view from the hiking trails was just breathtaking. We could see the powerful waterfall crashing down into the canyon below, surrounded by tall rocky cliffs. I felt so tiny compared to the vastness of nature around me.Another memorable activity was soaking in the hot springs. There are many natural hot springs in Yellowstone heated by the thermal energy from underground. We found one that was just the right temperature, not too hot and not too cold. Sinking into that warm, mineral-rich water was so relaxing after a long day of hiking and exploring.Camping was also a lot of fun during our vacation. We stayed at different campsites inside the park and cooked our meals over a campfire. Sleeping in our tent under the starry night sky was a novel experience for me as a city kid. The stars seemed so bright and countless against the dark backdrop. I made a wish to visit more amazing national parks like this in the future.Looking back, my summer vacation to Yellowstone was truly unforgettable. I discovered amazing geysers and hot springs, saw wild animals up close, hiked through stunning landscapes, and made lots of wonderful memories with my family.
