雅思作文图表题范文第1篇It is said that countries are becoming similar to each other because of the global spread of the same products, which are now available for purchase almost anywhere. I strongly believe that this modern development is largely detrimental to culture and traditions worldwide.A country’s history, language and ethos are all inextricably bound up in its manufactured artefacts. If the relentless advance of international brands into every corner of the world continues, these bland packages might one day completely oust the traditional objects of a nation, which would be a loss of richness and diversity in the world, as well as the sad disappearance of the manifestations of a place’s character. What would a Japanese tea ceremony be without its specially crafted teapot, or a Fijian kava ritual without its bowl made from a certain type of tree bark?Let us not forget either that traditional products, whether these be medicines, cosmetics, toy, clothes, utensils or food, provide employment for local people. The spread of multinational products can often bring in its wake a loss of jobs, as people urn to buying the new brand, perhaps thinking it more glamorous than the one they are used to. This eventually puts old-school craftspeople out of work. Finally, tourism numbers may also be affected, as travelers become disillusioned with finding every place just the same as the one they visited previously. To see the same products in shops the world over is boring, and does not impel visitors to open their wallets in the same way that trinkets or souvenirs unique to the particular area too. Some may argue that all people are entitled to have access to the same products, but I say that local objects suit local conditions best, and that faceless uniformity worldwide is an unwelcome and dreary prospect.Heres my full answer:The line graphs show the average monthly amount that parents in Britain spent on their children’s sporting activities and the number of British children who took part in three different sports from 2008 to is clear that parents spent more money each year on their children’s participation in sports over the six-year period. In terms of the number of children taking part, football was significantly more popular than athletics and 2008, British parents spent an average of around £20 per month on their children’s sporting activities. Parents’ spending on children’s sports increased gradually over the following six years, and by 2014 the average monthly amount had risen to just over £ at participation numbers, in 2008 approximately 8 million British children played football, while only 2 million children were enrolled in swimming clubs and less than 1 million practised athletics. The figures for football participation remained relatively stable over the following 6 years. By contrast, participation in swimming almost doubled, to nearly 4 million children, and there was a near fivefold increase in the number of children doing athletics.剑桥雅思6test1大作文范文,剑桥雅思6test1大作文task2高分范文+真题答案实感。

The graph shows the fluctuation in the number of people at London underground station over the course of a day。
According to the graph there is a sharp increase between 6 and 8am in the morning, with 400 people using the station at 8:00am。
After this, the numbers fall dramatically to less than 200 at 10 o’clock。
Between 11:00am and 3:00pm, the number of people rises and falls evenly with a plateau around lunch time of just under 300 people using the station。
Numbers then decline, with the lowest number being recorded at 4。
00 in the afternoon。
There is then a rapid rise between 4pm and 6pm during the evening rush hour with a peak of 380people at 6pm。
After 7pm numbers fall significantly, with only a slight increase again just after 8pm, tailing off after 9pm。
The graph shows that the station is most crowded in the early morning and early evening rush-hour periods。
1.企业垃圾 (线性图) 题目:The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years.years 2000 and 2015.It is clear that there were significant changes in the amounts of waste produced by all three companies shown on the graph. While companies A and B saw waste output fall over the 15-year period, the amount of waste produced by company C increased considerably.In2000, company A produced12 tonnes of waste, whilecompanies B andC producedaround8tonnes and 4 tonnes of waste material respectively. Over the following 5 years, the waste output of companies B and C rose by around 2 tonnes, but the figure for company A fell by approximately 1tonne.From 2005 to 2015, company A cut waste production by roughly 3 tonnes, and company B reduced its waste by around 7 tonnes. By contrast, company C saw anincrease inwaste productionof approximately 4 tonnes over the same 10- year period. By 2015, company C’swaste output hadrisento10tonnes, while the respective amounts of waste fromcompanies A andB haddroppedto8 tonnes and only 3 tonnes.(192 words, band 9)这条线图对三家公司的废物产出从 2000 年到 2015 年进行了比较。
雅思图表作⽂——条形图写作Fertility RatesThe chart shows striking changes in the fertility rate of women in six Gulf countries –Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain between 1990 and 2000.In the ten year period, there was a decline in the number of births per woman in all countries. The biggest declines were in two countries which had low fertility rates at the start of the decade, Bahrain and the UAE.Fertility rates vary greatly between the six countries. Oman and Saudi Arabia had the highest rates, with over seven births per woman in 1990. This compared with around 4 births per woman in Bahrain and the UAE, and just 3.75 in KuwaitBy 2000, the rate had fallen below three births per woman in Kuwait, Bahrain and the UAE, with a drop of over 25% in a decade in the UAE. However, in Saudi Arabia and Oman, the rates fell by just 20%, from 7.0 to 5.5.In summary, there were major decreases in birth rates in all countries, but some countries in the region have double the fertility rate of others.Oil Production CapacityThe graph shows Oil Production Capacity in millions of barrels per day for selected Gulf countries. There are several features in this graph. The most significant feature is that oil production will increase sharply in almost all the countries shown. Kuwait and Iraq are both expected to double their output between 1990 and 2010, with Kuwait’s production rising from 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd) in 1990 to 3.8 in 2010. Iran will also increase its output by a slightly smaller amount. After remaining steady at 2.5 million bpd from 1990 to 2000, the UAE’s output is expected to approach 4.0 million bpd in 2010. Only Qatar’s production is predictedto fall, 0.8 million bpd after a slight rise in 2000.However, the greatest increase will be from Saudi Arabia. In 1990, its output capacity at 8.5 million bpd exceeded the combined production of Iran, Iraq and Kuwait. Thislead is expected to continue with a 75% increase in production to 14.5 million bpd 2010.In summary, while most of the countries are expected to show increases, Saudi Arabia will maintain and strengthen its position as the major producer.Computers & Internet in the Arab WorldThe chart shows striking differences in the level of computer andInternet penetration in the Arab world. The UAE and Kuwait are by far the most computerized countries, with Lebanon a distant third. The UAE has over 150 computers for every 1000 inhabitants, compared to Kuwait’s 130 and Lebanon’s 60.In contrast, countries such as Egypt,Morocco and Syria have less than 20 computers per 1000 inhabitants. There are also great differences in Internet use and availability. The UAE has by far the highest proportion of users, with more than one-third of its population using the Internet. Kuwait and Lebanon are second and third again, with 100 users per thousand in Kuwait and 80 in Lebanon. In some countries the number using the Internetis negligible: Saudi Arabia has less than 20 users per thousand, and there are fewer than 5 users per thousand in Syria. One unusual feature of the graph is that Internet use does not seem to be directly related to the number of computers. In several countries (the UAE, Lebanon, Jordan and Oman), there are more Internet users per thousand people than computers. However, in other countries, such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Syria, the number of Internet users is lower than the number of computers. In summary, there are major differences between computer use and Internet use in the Arab world, but the UAE clearly leads the area in both number of computers and number of internet users per capita.Coffee ProductionThe graph shows coffee exports for the top 12 countries in the world in 2010 and 2011. Overall, the biggest producers by far are Brazil and Vietnam, and there has not been much change in the ranking of the top producers in the last two years. Almost every country in the graph produced more coffee in 2011 than in 2010. Brazil was the largest producer. It increased exports from 30,000,000 bags in 2010 to almost35,000,000 in 2011. Vietnam was the second largest producer, and it also increased its output from under 14,000,000 bags to about 17,000,000. Colombia, Indonesia and India exported almost the same amount, at between 6 and 8 million bags, and then a large group of countries including Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Ethipia, Uganda and Mexico produced about 3 or 4 million bags in both years.Only two countries in the graph exported less in 2011. They were Indonesia and Coted’Ivoire. In Cote d’Ivoire, production fell by 50%, fro m 2 million bags to 1 million.。
雅思图表小作文范文(合集23篇)Most senior citizens retire or no longer work full-time. They usually live in their own houses not far from their children's, while the children of a few senior citizens have gone abroad and work or study far beyond the oceans. For certain senior citizens, tile years after retirement are not very enjoyable. First, they feel that their lives lose meaning for being at home all day. In addition, they may feel lonely, especially those without children around. Moreover, they become more concerned with their health, as they grow older, and worry a lot about their safety. At the same time, many senior citizens enjoy their lives. They feel free to do things they were not able to do when they were working and raising their families. They spend their time travelling, doing exercises or watching TV. They get together with their fellow members who have the common interests and equal free time.大多数的老人退休或不再做全职工作。

雅思柱状图写作模板1The bar chart compares the proportion of employees of both genders employed in executive positions in ACNE Oil Company within a one-year period between July 1993 and June 1994.As can be seen from the chart, the percentage of male employees generally increased with the rise of the job categories from Grade E to Grade A while the opposite was true with that of women.Grade A, which was reported as the highest position, was a male dominated one in which only one-tenth of the staff were female while male employees accounted for the rest. When it comes to Grade B and C, men also took up over half of the employees, accounting for 80% and 60%, which are 50% and 10% higher than that of women respectively. However, the situation in the other two jobs categories, which were relatively lower in rank, was totally reversed, with women taking up relatively larger proportion. Men constituted roughly 40% in Grade D, 20% less than that if women and most of the working staff in Grade E were women (over 70%) , twice the percentage of men.To sum up, on the rank ladder of ACME Oil Company, male employees took up a higher and higher proportion than the weaker sex as it gradually went up to the peak -------- Grade A.雅思柱状图写作模板2The chart below shows the amount of money per week spenton fast foods in Britain. It is also noticeable that the figures for gold, silver and bronze medals won by any particular country tend to be fairly similar. The USA has won a total of around 2,300 Olympic medals, including approximately 900 gold medals, 750 silver and 650 bronze. In second place on the all-time medals chart is the Soviet Union, with just over 1,000 medals. Again, the number of gold medals won by this country is slightly higher than the number of silver or bronze medals.Only four other countries - the UK, France, Germany and Italy - have won more than 500 Olympic medals, all with similar proportions of each medal colour. Apart from the USA and the Soviet Union, China is the only other country with a noticeably higher proportion of gold medals (about 200) compared to silver and bronze (about 100 each).(178 words, band 9)雅思图表作文真题:柱状图:学习动机The charts below show the main reasons for study among students of different groups and the amount of support they received from employers.参考雅思小作文范文The bar charts compare students of different ages in terms of why they are studying and whether they are supported by an employer. It is clear that the proportion of students who study for career purposes is far higher among the younger age groups, while the oldest students are more likely to study for interest. Employer support is more commonly given to younger students.Around 80% of students aged under 26 study to further their careers, whereas only 10% study purely out of interest. The gap between these two proportions narrows as students get older, and the figures for those in their forties are the same, at about 40%. Students aged over 49 overwhelmingly study for interest (70%) rather than for professional reasons (less than 20%).Just over 60% of students aged under 26 are supported by their employers. By contrast, the 30-39 age group is the most self-sufficient, with only 30% being given time off and help with fees. The figures rise slightly for students in their forties and for those aged 50 or more.(178 words, band 9)雅思图表作文真题:柱状图:The chart below shows numbers of incidents and injuries per 100 million passenger miles travelled (PMT) by transportation type in 2002.雅思小作文范文The bar chart compares the number of incidents and injuries for every 100 million passenger miles travelled on five different types of public transport in 2002.It is clear that the most incidents and injuries took place on demand-response vehicles. By contrast, commuter rail services recorded by far the lowest figures.A total of 225 incidents and 173 injuries, per 100 million passenger miles travelled, took place on demand-response transport services. These figures were nearly three times as high as those for the second highest category, bus services. There were 76 incidents and 66 people were injured on buses.Rail services experienced fewer problems. The number of incidents on light rail trains equalled the figure recorded for buses, but there were significantly fewer injuries, at only 39. Heavy rail services saw lower numbers of such events than light rail services, but commuter rail passengers were even less likely to experience problems. By contrast, most hazardous materials in the Republic of Korea are recycled.Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that 82% of the UK’s dangerous waste is put into landfill sites. This disposal technique is used for 55% of the harmful waste in Sweden and only 22% of similar waste in Korea. The latter country recycles 69% of hazardous materials, which is far more than the other two nations. While 25% of Sweden's dangerous waste is recycled, the UK does not recycle at all. Instead, it dumps waste at sea or treats it chemically. These two methods are not employed in Korea or Sweden, which favour incineration for 9% and 20% of dangerous waste respectively.(159)。

#45. The charts below show the percentage of their food budget the average family spent on restaurant meals in different years. The graph shows the number of meals eaten in fast food restaurants and sit-down restaurants. You should write at least 150 words.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.Over the past 30 years, the average family has dramatically increased the number of meals that they eat at restaurants. The percentage of the family's food budget spent on restaurant meals steadily climbed. Just 10 percent of the food budget was spent on restaurant meals in 1970, and 15 percent in 1980. That percentage more than doubled in 1990, to 35 percent, and rose again in 2000 to 50 percent. Where families eat their restaurant meals also changed during that 30-year period. In 1970, families ate the same number of meals at fast food and sit-down restaurants. In 1980, fam¬ilies ate slightly more frequently at sit-down restaurants. However, since 1990, fast food restaurants serve more meals to the families than do the sit-down restaurants. Most of the restaurant meals from 2000 were eaten at fast food restaurants. If this pattern continues, eventually the number of meals that families eat at fast food restaurants could double the number of meals they eat at sit-down restaurants.(164 words)#44. The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 wordsmodel answer:The first potential location (S1) is outside the town itself, and is sited just off the main road to the town of Hindon, lying 12 kms to the north-west. This site is in the countryside and so would be able to accommodate a lot of car parking. This would make it accessable to shoppers from both Hindon and Garlsdon who could travel by car. As it is also close to the railway line linking the who towns to Cransdon (25 km to the south-east), a potentially large number of shoppers would also be able to travel by train. In contrast, the suggested location, S2, is right in the town centre, which would begood for local residents. Theorically the store could be accessed by road or rail from the surrounding towns, including Bransdon, but as the central area is a no-traffic zone, cars would be unable to park and access would be difficult. Overall, neither site is appropriate for all the towns, but for customers in Cransdon, Hindon and Garlsdon, the out-of-town site (S1) would probably offer more advantages.(179 words)# 43. You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The table below shows CO2 emissions for different forms of transport in the European Union. The Pie Chart shows the percentage of European Union funds being spent on different forms of transport. You should write at least 150 words.model answer:The chart shows CO2 emissions per passenger kilometre for variuos methods of transport in the European Union while the pie chart shows European Union spending on transport. Flying by air produces by far the greatest CO2 emissions, approximately three times as much as passenger cars which are the next largest producers. Very little is spent by the EU on air travel while roads make up more than half of the EU transport budget.Trains produce about three times less CO2 emissions per passenger kilometre than passenger cars and eight times less than air travel. Nearly a third of EU transport funds are spent on railways.Ships are a clean form of transport and produce about the same amount of CO2 per passenger kilometre as trains do. However, only 2 percent of EU funds are spent on ports. A further one percent is spent on inland waterways.Coaches are the cleanest form of transport. Emissions of CO2 per passenger kilometre from coaches are half those of buses. Buses emit less than half as much CO2 per passenger kilometre as cars. The European Union spends 10 percent of its transport budget on public transport, such as buses and coaches. (197 words)The table below shows the sales at a small restaurant in a downtown business district.Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.model answer:The sales at this small restaurant during the week of October 7 to 13th followed a fairly set pattern from Monday to Friday, and then showed notable shift on the weekend. The lunch and dinner sales during the week peaked on Friday and then dipper down as the weekend set in.During the week of October 7-14th, the lunch sales averaged at approximately $2,400. The highest lunch sales occurred on Friday, and the lowest occurred on Sunday. Sunday's lunch sales were approximately $1,000 less than the average lunch sales during the rest of the week.Dinner sales, which generated at least $1,000 to $1,500 more a day than lunch sales, also remained steady during the week. Just like the lunch sales, the dinner sales peak on Friday and dipped down for the weekend.Excluding Wednesday and Thursday, the lunch and dinner sales from October 7-11 rose gradually until the end of the business week. Midweek, on Wednesday and Thursday, the sales were slightly lower than they were on Tuesday.According to the sales report, this restaurant has a steady lunch and dinner crowd. The most profitable day during the second week of October was Friday. Sunday, was the least prof¬itable day, with the full day's sales totaling/totalling less than the Friday dinner sales. These numbers are reflective of a restaurant that is located in a business/financial district where business hours are Monday through Friday. In June 1996, an experimental flu vaccine was trialled in a large country town on females only.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.model answer:The diagrams show data for a flu epidemic which hit a large country town in 1996. Figure 1 gives the number of persons who died; Figure 2 shows the percentage breakdown of females who received a new flu vaccine; and Figure 3 gives the number of cases of flu before and during the epidemic. In Figure 1 it can be seen that the flu was responsible for the deaths of 2 females but no males in the period from March to May. However, from June to August, there were 4 female deaths and 1 male death.According to the pie chart in Figure 2, only those females most at risk were given the new flu vaccine; 28% did not take part in the trial. Of those females who took part, 35% were aged (over 65 years old); 24% were babies or children; and 13% were either hospitalised or receiving other medical attention. From Figure 3 it is clear that the new vaccine had a positive effect on the number of new cases of flu reported in females. There were just over 1000 cases reported in March, climbing rapidly to a peak of 3500 in June. Thereafter, the number of cases dropped slowly to about 2800 in August, before levelling off at 2500 for the rest of the year. For males, the figures were lower but showed a similar trend throughout the epidemic.(232 words)#39. The lowest rates were in Developed Countries, Latin America/Caribbean and East Asia/Oceania with rates of 1% (approximately), 10% and 8% (approximately) respectively. The rates for the next three areas were much higher and quite similar to each other. Sub-Saharan Africa, the Arab States and South Asia had rates of approximately 31%, 29% and 34%.Female illiteracy was much higher relatively in each area except LatinAmerica/Caribbean where it was only slightly higher. The lowest rates for female illiteracy were again Developed Countries, Latin America/Caribbean and East Asia/Oceania with rates of approximately 2%, 12% and 20%. Again the rates for the next three areas were much higher and quite similar to each other. Sub-Saharan Africa, the Arab States and South Asia had rates of approximately 48%, 52% and 56%.This ends my report.# 38. Overall, most of the countries included in the graph have more mobile phones subscribers than landlines. Most European countries have high mobile phone use. The biggest users of mobile phones are the Italians, with 88 cell phones per 100 people. For example, Italy has twice as many mobile phones as landlines, with 88 mobiles per hundred people compared to 45 for landlines. Mobile phone use is low in Canada, with fewer than 40 phones per 100 people. Denmark is also unusual because it has slightly more landlines than mobile phones. However, in some countries, the number of landlines is higher than the number of mobile phones. One example is the USA, where the number of mobiles, at 50 per 100 people, is much lower than the number of landlines, at almost 70 per hundred.A similar pattern can be seen in Canada. The highest number of landlines in the graph is in Denmark, with about 90 per 100 people. In contrast, the lowest figures for fixed lines are in Italy and the UK.In conclusion, it seems that mobile phone use is higher in Europe than in North America.# 37. Overall, one notable trend seems to be that Australia has steadily become more popular as a destination spot. For example, there were 20 million more visitors to Australia in 2005 than in 1975. That's a jump from 10 million to 30 million in 20 years. The second table gives statistics showing the countries whose residents went to Australia between 1975 and 2005. In both years, the largest number of visitors came from Japan, followed by South Korea and Europe. Britain, the United States and China also had many people traveling to Australia in these years. In fact, the number of people visiting Australia grew in every one of these countries. You should write at least 150 wordsmodel answer:The table shows that the figures for imprisonment in the five countries mentioned indicate no overall pattern of increase or decrease. In fact there is considerable fluctuation from country to country. In Great Britain the numbers in prison have increased steadily from 30 000 in 1930 to 80,000 in 1980. On the other hand in Australia, and particularly in New Zealand the numbers fell markedly from 1930 to 1940. Since then they have increased gradually, apart from in 1980 when the numbers in prison in New Zealand fell by about 30,000 from the 1970 total. Canada is the only country in which the numbers in prison have decreased over the period 1930 to 1980, although there have been fluctuations in this trend. The figures for the United States indicate the greatest number of prisoners compared to the other four countries but population size needs to be taken into account in this analysis. The prison population in the United States increased rapidly from 1970 to 1980 and this must be a worrying trend.。

图表类英语作文模板雅思篇 1When it comes to IELTS chart-based writing, there is a common template structure that can guide us to present the data effectively. In the opening paragraph, we should clearly state the main topic of the chart, like "The chart provides information about the consumption habits of people in different age groups!" This gives a direct and clear start. In the middle part, it's crucial to analyze the data trends and make comparisons. For instance, if it's a bar chart showing the consumption habits of different age groups, we could say, "The consumption of young people on entertainment is significantly higher than that of the elderly! While the elders spend more on healthcare." We need to describe the details precisely and compare the differences vividly. Finally, in the concluding paragraph, we summarize the main findings. For example, "It is obvious that age plays a significant role in shaping consumption patterns!" By following this template, we can handle IELTS chart writing tasks with more confidence and clarity.篇 2When it comes to IELTS chart essays, there are some remarkable language features that deserve our attention! Firstly, the use of proper linking words is crucial. For instance, 'moreover', 'furthermore', and 'however' help to connect ideas smoothly. In a pie chart, describing the proportions of each part requires accurate language. We might say, "The largest portion, accounting for approximately 40%, represents..." Or when dealing with a table, we could state, "The data shows asignificant increase from 20% to 50% within a short period." Isn't it fascinating how precise language can make the description clear and vivid? So, always be careful in choosing words and expressions to present the data accurately and effectively. Don't you think mastering these skills is essential for a high score in IELTS writing?篇 3Oh my goodness! When it comes to IELTS chart-based composition templates, there are several crucial points to keep in mind. Firstly, grammar mistakes must be avoided at all costs! Imagine a situation where you wrongly use verb tenses or confusing sentence structures. For instance, saying "The number of students was increased" instead of "The number of students increased". Such a mistake can significantly lower your score. Secondly, the accuracy of data description is of utmost importance! A wrong interpretation of the data could lead to a completely wrong conclusion. Like once a student wrongly stated that the proportion of male workers was higher than that of female workers, but the chart clearly showed the opposite. So, always double-check your data and make sure your expressions are clear and accurate. Isn't it essential to pay close attention to these details for a high score in IELTS?篇 4Oh my goodness! Let's take a look at how to apply the template for IELTS chart-based essays through some practical examples. Consider a chart showing the population growth in a certain area. First of all, we need to have a clear introduction. Like, "The chart presents a vivid picture of the population growth in [area name] over [time period]. It is truly remarkable how this data unfolds!" Then, when describing the details, we could say, "The population started at [initial number] and steadily climbed to [final number], which is astonishing! Isn't it?" And in the conclusion, we might summarize by saying, "In conclusion, the population growth in this area haswitnessed significant changes, highlighting the importance of [relevant factors]. What does this imply for the future? It surely demands our attention!" By following such a template, we can present our ideas clearly and effectively in the IELTS exam. Isn't that wonderful?篇 5When it comes to writing IELTS essays based on different types of charts, it's essential to master the flexible application of templates. Take line graphs for instance. They often show trends over time. So, we might start by describing the overall trend, like "Oh my goodness! The data clearly indicates a significant upward trend throughout the period!" For bar graphs, the focus could be on comparisons between different categories. We could say, "How astonishing! Category A far exceeds Category B in terms of quantity!" When it comes to pie charts, the emphasis is on proportions. We might exclaim, "Isn't it remarkable? The majority of the share belongs to X!" However, we must adjust the language and structure of the template according to the specific characteristics of each chart. Isn't that the key to a high-scoring essay? Remember, a precise and vivid description is crucial for presenting the data effectively and impressing the examiners. So, let's practice and master this skill!。
雅思真题图表小作文The IELTS is a globally recognized English language proficiency test that assesses the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. One of the components of the IELTS test is the Writing section, which includes a task that requires candidates to describe, summarize, or explain the information presented in a graph, table, chart, or diagram. In this task, candidates are expected to demonstrate their ability to present and organize information, compare and contrast data, describe trends, and identify significant features. The ability to interpret and analyze data presented in visual forms is an essential skill in today's information-driven world. Charts and graphs are commonly used to represent complex data in a visually accessible format, making it easier for people to understand and interpret the information. In the context of the IELTS Writing task, candidates are required to demonstrate their proficiency in understanding and interpreting visual data and presenting their analysis in a clear and coherent manner.Historically, the use of visual representations of data dates back to ancient times, with early examples found in maps, cave paintings, and other forms ofvisual communication. Over time, the use of charts and graphs has evolved, with advancements in technology leading to the development of more sophisticated and complex visual representations of data. Today, charts and graphs are widely used in various fields, including business, science, economics, and social sciences, to present and analyze data. From a broader perspective, the use of visual data representation has become increasingly important in the age of big data and information overload. With the exponential growth of data in the digital era, the ability to effectively present and interpret data visually has become a valuable skill in many professions. As such, the IELTS Writing task that requires candidates to analyze and interpret visual data is reflective of the real-world demand for such skills. In the context of the IELTS Writing task, there are different perspectives and opinions surrounding the use of visual data representation. Some may argue that the ability to interpret visual data is a crucial skill in today's data-driven world, and the task provides candidates with an opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency in this area. Others may view the task as challenging, especially for candidates who are not familiar with interpreting visual data or lack experiencein analyzing charts and graphs. To illustrate the significance of visual data representation, consider the case of a marketing analyst who needs to interpret sales data presented in a line graph to identify trends and patterns. In this scenario, the ability to analyze the visual data accurately is essential for making informed decisions and developing effective marketing strategies. Similarly, in the field of scientific research, the use of charts and graphs to present experimental data is criticalfor communicating findings and conclusions to the scientific community. While the ability to interpret visual data is undeniably important, there are also drawbacks to consider. For instance, candidates who are not well-versed in interpreting visual data may struggle with the task, potentially impacting their overall performance in the Writing section of the IELTS test. Additionally, the task may place candidates from non-technical backgrounds at a disadvantage, as they may have limited experience in analyzing charts and graphs compared to those with a more quantitative or analytical focus in their education or work experience. In conclusion, the IELTS Writing task that requires candidates to analyze and interpret visual data is reflective of the increasing importance of visual data representation in today's information-driven world. While the task presents an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their proficiency in interpreting visual data, it also poses challenges for those who may lack experience in this area. Moving forward, it is essential for candidates to develop the necessary skills to interpret visual data effectively, as it is a valuable skill in many professions.Additionally, test preparation resources and support can be provided to help candidates improve their proficiency in this aspect of the IELTS test.。

As we can clearly see from the chart, the sales of America dropped apparently in the earliest two years and bottomed at 7million in 1982.By the following three years, there has been a sharp increase which soared from7 million in 1982 to about 11.5 million in 1985,then it went up and down during the following 7 years, reaching the lowest point at 9 million in 1992.The year 1992-1999 witnessed an overall rise with several fluctuated, and reached the highest point at 13 million in 1999.However,the number of vehicles declined dramatically again in the last 6 years.
In comparison, the number of vehicles in China showed a noticeable tendency to increase during the 28 years. The number climbed gradually during the previous two decades and arrived at 2 million in the year of 2000.The latest eight years saw a remarkable increase, soaring from 2 million to approximately 9.5 million.
Meanwhile, the line chart presents that there was a
turning point in the year of 2007,before which the sales of vehicles sold in the US were quite larger than that of China. After this point, the sales of China increased continuously, while the sales of the US kept shrinking.
There are several factors accounting for this phenomenon.
In the first place, with the development of enonomy and the revolution of government, chinese benefit a lot from this change and more and more people can afford to purchase the vehicle in pursuit of a happy and convenient life.On the contrary,America was confronted with enonomic crisis in 2008, lots of Americans found it hard to seek for a job,to say nothing of buying a vehicle, that’s why the market is not satisfactory.
In the second place, chinese government plays a prominent role in the development of economy owing to its proper policy, which makes it impossible to face the enonomic crisis.Adversely,American government persists in the free market ,which contributes significantly to the crisi.
Taking these two factors into account,we can draw a conclusion that with the development of economy,China will be stronger and stronger, but America is still a great country.。
