1. How many Chinese festivals do you know? Which one
do you like best, why?
I know five Chinese festivals.They are the Spring festival,
the Lantern festival ,the QingMing fetival, The dragon boat
festival and the Mid-autumn festival .Among of the festivals,
I like spring festival best.because during spring festival .we
can play firecrackers in the midnight and get together to eat
reunion dinner,and we can watch spring festival gala.and get
some lucky money!
2. How did you celebrate last Spring Festival?
We got together in my grand parents home and ate reunion
dinner,played firecracker at midnight ,watched the spring festival
gala,played with my friend, Before the spring festival, we went
shopping and bought some meat and fish.and my parents gave me
some lucky money.We have a good time.

1. 单元(或主题)教学设计说明
本单元的话题是中国的传统节日。因此可结合五上Christmas引入,课前可要求学生搜集一些关于中国的传统节日的信息,包括日期、食物和风俗习惯等,为课堂教学做准备。本单元的词汇除了节日名词和食物之外,还包括十二个月份,教师可帮助学生复习季节类和星期类的词汇。为了方便教学和操练,师生可准备日历本。本单元内容充满趣味性,可结合多媒体,适当营造节日氛围,让学生在情感中去理解,达到知识和情感上的共融。

(一)语言知识:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词:rice cake dumpling,moon cakes,rice dumpling等.
2. 能运用以下句型 When is...?What...do?What...eat?交流并获知其回答,了解每个节日的时间,活动及食物等。
3. 能正确理解课文内容。

1. 有初步正确的朗读单词和句子。

一、教学目标
1.学生通过听音乐和看图片的方式,感知理解“festival”,并且了解不同的节日名称: the Mid-Autumn Festival,the Double
Ninth Festival,the Dragon Boat Festival,the Lantern Festival.
2.学生通过问答练习及思维引导,利用旧句型进行交流:提高会话技能。
3.学生通过调查问卷活动,能在真实语境中交流自己喜欢的节日。
二、教学重点与难点

Festival the Double Ninth Festival,

四、使用教材的构想
在引入“festival”后,不能直接出示节日的单词,应和学生进行深入交流,启发学生关于节日的想法,从而调动学生的思维的参与,在交流中感知各种节日。
五、教学流程
A.Warm-up:
播放音乐《春江花月夜》,并交替出示几幅中国传统节日的图片,让学生感知祖国的节日;
B.Lead-in: 从以上的音乐和图片中,引导学生猜测出单元主题Chinese
Festivals.
C.教师引导学生通过讨论交流,解决问题,学习和操练新知:
a.Talk about our Chinese Festivals in groups(小组讨论我国有哪些传统节日,组长收集组员的讨论结果);
b.出示春节的几个标志性图片,带学生进入第一课时的主题the Spring Festival.
