英语作文七年级上册范文1到9单元全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Seventh Grade School Year So FarHey there! I'm a 7th grader and I want to tell you all about my school year so far. It's been a wild ride with lots of new things to learn and experience. Buckle up, because this is going to be a long story!Unit 1 was all about introducing ourselves and talking about our summers. I spent mine playing video games, riding my bike, and hanging out with friends. We had to write paragraphs describing our favorite summer activities. I wrote about the new skatepark that opened up and how I spent hours there practicing tricks. My English teacher said I did a great job with descriptive language. Score! Then in Unit 2, we learned how to talk about our daily routines. Man, my routine is packed! I wake up at 6:30 am, do my chores, eat breakfast, and head to school. After classes, I have soccer practice until 5pm. I'm exhausted by the time I get hometo do homework and eat dinner. We had to present our daily schedules to partners, which was nerve-wracking but fun.Unit 3 was my favorite so far - all about food! We learned vocab words like "scrumptious" and "savory." We read descriptions of crazy food challenges, like eating a 5lb burrito or a ghost pepper. No thanks, I'll pass on those! For our writing assignment, I described my ideal pizza - double pepperoni, extra cheese, and a crispy crust. My mouth waters just thinking about it.Unit 4 got deep with discussing our personalities and emotions. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? What inspires you? What discourages you? I did a lot of self-reflection to answer those questions. Expressing emotions isn't really my strong suit, so that unit challenged me. But I learned it's okay to feel your feels, ya know?Traveling was the theme of Unit 5. We read about kid bloggers reviewing hotels and tourist attractions around the world. How cool would it be to travel for a living? My dream vacation is going on an Alaskan cruise to see glaciers, whales, and other wildlife up close. We had to plan an imaginaryweek-long trip including transportation, hotels, and activities. Ikept things modest with a road trip to national parks out west. Gotta save up those allowance dollars!Units 6 and 7 dealt with technology and social media. I'm definitely addicted to my phone and gaming systems, so I related a lot to those lessons. We analyzed the pros and cons of too much screen time. Pros: connecting with friends, learning new skills. Cons: lack of exercise, poor sleep habits. It was a wake-up call to be more balanced. For our project, we had to make a classroom social media policy with rules like "no phones during lessons" and "be kind online." Solid advice!Unit 8 was super fascinating - we learned about different cultures and traditions around the world. My favorite was Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration. The bright colors, delicious food, and honoring ancestors is awesome. We had to research a cultural festival and present it to the class. I did mine on the Songkran water festival in Thailand. Looked like a giant water balloon fight! Finally, Unit 9 covered environmental issues like pollution, habitat loss, and climate change. It was pretty depressing learning about all the damage humans have caused to the planet. But we also learned about solutions like reducing plastic use, planting trees, and switching to renewable energy. Ourassignment was to start an environmental club at school focused on recycling and conservation efforts. I'm the self-appointed Chief Trash Walker picking up litter on campus!Phew, that was a ton of info about my 7th grade year so far! We've learned soooo much already. My brain is overloaded but in the best way possible. English class has definitely expanded my writing skills and global awareness. Who knows what craziness awaits in the next few units? Wish me luck! And don't be afraid to make a few mistakes along the way. That's a surefire path to learning and growing as a student and person. Okay, gotta run – time for soccer practice! Catch ya later.篇2My Life as a 7th GraderHey there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. Life has been a whirlwind since starting this new school year, and I can't wait to share all my experiences with you!Unit 1: My Summer VacationThe best part of my summer was definitely the camping trip my family took to Yellowstone National Park. We went hikingevery day, saw amazing wildlife like bison and bears (from a safe distance, of course!), and even got to witness the incredible Old Faithful geyser erupting. One night, we sat around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and sharing scary stories. That's when my little brother, Max, decided to tell the tale of the "Yellowstone Yeti"... and had us all jumping at every sound in the woods! Despite his practical joke, it was an unforgettable adventure.Unit 2: My NeighborhoodI live in a pretty cool neighborhood. There's a huge park justa few blocks away where my friends and I love to play pickup games of soccer or basketball. The ice cream truck also comes around almost every evening, and we always beg our parents for a couple of dollars to get a treat. My favorite is thechocolate-dipped vanilla ice cream bars – they're to die for! There are lots of cute shops and cafés too, so my mom and I will sometimes go shopping or out for brunch on the weekends.Unit 3: School SubjectsMy favorite subject in school is definitely English. I love reading novels and analyzing the deeper meanings behind the author's words and storylines. This year, we're reading classics like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "The Outsiders" and I can't wait to discuss them in class. Math is... not my strongest suit. I canhandle the basic stuff okay, but once we get into algebra and equations, I start to get lost. My math teacher, Mr. Patel, is really nice though, and always makes time to go over anything I'm struggling with.Unit 4: After SchoolAfter the final bell rings, I'm usually stuck at school for another couple of hours. I'm on the volleyball team, so we have practice every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until 5pm. The coaches really work us hard, but it's a great way to stay active and work as a team. On the days I don't have volleyball, I'll either go to the library to get a head start on my homework or hang out with friends at the mall. We always have to be home by 7pm for family dinner though – my parents are really strict about that.Unit 5: WeekendsAh, weekends... The time when I can actually sleep in past6am! I love lazy Saturdays spent lounging around in my pajamas, binge-watching TV shows and munching on snacks all day. Sundays are a little busier since I have Hebrew school in the morning. I'm not a very religious person, but my parents want me to learn about our Jewish heritage and culture. Plus, all my friends have to go too so at least we're suffering through ittogether! Later on Sunday evenings, we'll sometimes all get together at someone's house for a movie night and sleepover.Unit 6: Holiday CelebrationsMy favorite holiday by far is Halloween. There's just something magical about dressing up in a crazy costume and parading around the neighborhood, plastic pumpkin in hand, begging for candy from your neighbors! Last year, I went as a zombie cheerleader, complete with ripped pom-poms and fake blood smeared across my face. It was epic! My mom always makes sure to stock up on enough miniature chocolate bars and lollipops for all the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. Christmas is pretty fun too, mainly because we get to put up our huge tree and twinkling lights outside. My dad loves going all out on the decorations!Unit 7: TechnologyI have to admit, I'm a total tech junkie. My iPhone is basically an extension of my body at this point – I use it for texting friends, scrolling through social media, playing games during boring classes, you name it! I'm also obsessed with my new VR headset that I got for my birthday. You can watch 3D movies or play ultra-realistic video games that make you feel like you're篇3My Life as a 7th GraderUnit 1: My Summer VacationThis past summer was one of the best ever! My family took an amazing trip to the beach. We stayed in a cute little cottage right by the ocean. Every morning, I would wake up to the sound of crashing waves and seagulls calling out. I spent hours building sandcastles, swimming in the salty water, and looking for colorful seashells along the shore. In the evenings, we would roast marshmallows around a beach bonfire and watch the sunset paint the sky in shades of orange, pink and purple. I never wanted that vacation to end!Unit 2: My Hobbies and InterestsI have so many hobbies and interests that it's hard to pick a favorite. I love reading fantasy novels about mythical creatures and brave heroes going on epic adventures. Whenever I get a new book, I can't put it down until I've finished the very last page. I'm also really into skateboarding. There's a skate park near my house where I can practice kickflips and rails with my friends. And I've been taking guitar lessons for two years now. Playingmusic helps me relax after a long day at school. Sometimes I even write my own songs about whatever is on my mind.Unit 3: Describing My FamilyMy family is pretty big and we're all really close. I have two younger sisters who can be super annoying sometimes, but I still love them to pieces. My mom is a nurse and works really hard taking care of others. She's always there for us with a warm hug whenever we need it. My dad is a science teacher and knows absolutely everything about planets, animals, and how things work. He never gets tired of answering all our random questions! We also have two crazy dogs that are part of the family - a poodle named Fluffy and a mutt named Buddy. They're always causing some kind of mischief but bring us lots of laughter.Unit 4: My Daily RoutineWeekdays are pretty busy for me between school, homework, activities and chores. I wake up around 7am, get dressed, eat a quick breakfast, and head to school. My classes last from 8:30am until 3pm, with just a short break for lunch. After school, I have soccer practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tuesdays are for guitar lessons. Thursday afternoons I spend doing my homework and studying. Friday evenings I get to relax a little by watching movies or hanging outwith friends. On Saturdays I help out by doing chores like washing dishes, vacuuming and taking out the trash. Sundays are my favorite day of the week because I can spend the whole day just having fun without any responsibilities. Phew, typing all that made me tired just thinking about it!Unit 5: My School LifeI really enjoy going to school and learning new things every day. My favorite subjects are English, art and PE. In English class, we read lots of interesting stories and poems. We just finished a cool book about kids who get stranded on a deserted island. For art, we've been working on still life paintings using different shading techniques. It's so much fun mixing all the colors and making the objects look 3D. PE is great because I love being active and playing sports like basketball and soccer. My least favorite is probably math because I find some of the concepts really confusing. But my teacher is super nice and helps explains things until I understand. I'm also part of the school's drama club where we put on a big musical each year. I can't wait for our production of The Wizard of Oz!Unit 6: Describing My TownThe town I live in is pretty awesome. It has a lovely downtown area full of cute boutiques, tasty restaurants, and abeautiful park right in the center. Every Saturday morning there is a farmer's market where you can get fresh local produce, baked goods, and handmade crafts. One of my favorite places is the community pool where I hang out with friends during the hot summer months. We have an awesome library too with a huge selection of books, movies and video games you can borrow. The rec center offers tons of classes and activities for kids and adults like art, cooking, dance and martial arts. And we just got a brand new state-of-the-art movie theater that shows all the latest releases. There's always something fun to do in my town!Unit 7: Holidays and CelebrationsI love holidays because it means spending extra quality time with my family, eating delicious food, and getting some time off from school. For Thanksgiving, my aunt and uncle come over for a huge turkey dinner with all the trimmings like stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. We go around the table saying what we're thankful for that year and I feel so grateful for my wonderful family. Christmas is also a really big deal in our home. We decorate the whole house with twinkling lights, put up a beautiful tree, and bake tons of cookies and candy. I get so excited waiting to open my presents on Christmas morning! My birthday is in the spring, so we usually have a funparty in the backyard with a bouncy castle, piñata, c ake and ice cream. It's the best day ever being showered with love and attention from my family and friends.Unit 8: Helping Others and the EnvironmentI try my best to be a good person who helps others and protects the environment as much as I can. At school, I volunteer with a group that collects cans, bottles and boxes to be recycled each week. All that plastic and aluminum really adds up and makes a difference in reducing waste. For English class, we also did a cool project writing letters to kids at a hospital to cheer them up while they're feeling sick. My family likes to donate clothes, toys and canned goods to homeless shelters and food banks a few times per year too. Simple acts of kindness and giving back to the community make me feel good inside. Treating others how I would want to be treated is really important.Unit 9: My Future Goals and DreamsSometimes I daydream about what I want to be when I grow up. There are so many interesting career options to consider! Maybe I'll be a marine biologist swimming with dolphins and whales. Or a video game designer coming up with awesome new virtual worlds to explore. I could even be an astronaut blastingoff into outer space. Those would all be such cool jobs! Part of me wants to be a teacher or a doctor so I can help educate others and take care of people in need. Another part of me wants to be a famous musician playing sold-out arenas all around the world. No matter what path I choose, I hope to have an exciting, adventurous life doing something I'm truly passionate about. And of course, I want to find someone special to fall in love with and start a wonderful family of my own someday. The future is full of endless possibilities! So that's a glimpse into my life as a 7th grader. It's anon-stop whirlwind of school, activities, family time, and trying to figure out this crazy world. But I wouldn't have it any other way!篇4My 7th Grade Year So FarHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 7th grader this year. I thought I'd share with you all about my experiences in English class and the different units we've covered. It's been quite a journey already!Unit 1 was all about exploring different cultures around the world. We read folk tales from various countries an篇5My Life as a 7th GraderHey there! My name is Alex and I'm a 7th grade student. Let me tell you all about my life and the things I've been learning this year. It's been quite a journey so far!Unit 1 was all about introducing ourselves and talking about our hobbies and interests. I love playing soccer and video games in my free time. My favorite video game is the latest release in the Super Brawlers series. I'm really good at it too! I've beaten all my friends' high scores. As for soccer, I play striker on my school's team. We made it to the finals last season but unfortunately didn't win the championship. Still, I had a blast playing with my teammates. In Unit 2, we learned how to describe our daily routines. My day usually starts with my mom yelling at me to wake up for school. I hit the snooze button a few times before finally dragging myself out of bed. After getting ready, I wolf down a quick breakfast and rush out the door to catch the school bus. The afternoons are when things get busy - I have soccer practice twice a week and then tons of homework to do. My parents arealways nagging me to spend less time gaming and more time studying. What can I say, I like to have fun!Unit 3 was about talking about our families. I have a pretty small family - just me, my mom, dad, and younger sister Sara. We're a close-knit bunch though. My dad works long hours at his job, but he always makes time for me and Sara on the weekends. We'll go on hikes, hit the batting cages, or just hang out at home watching movies together. My mom is the disciplinarian and keeps me and Sara in line! She's also an amazing cook. Her homemade lasagna is to die for.In Unit 4, we had to describe our homes and neighborhoods.I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with big houses and well-kept lawns. It's pretty boring if you ask me! All the houses look the same. The one cool thing is the public pool where my friends and I spend a lot of time in the summer. We even got summer jobs there last year as lifeguards. Our neighborhood isn't too far from downtown where all the restaurants and shopping centers are. That's where the real action happens!School life was the topic of Unit 5. My favorite subjects are P.E. and Computer Science. I'm horrible at stuff like English and History though - I just can't pay attention during those classes no matter how hard I try! Lunchtime is definitely the highlight of theschool day for me. My friends and I joke around, discuss rumors about other kids, and maybe occasionally throw a french fry or two across the cafeteria. Don't tell anyone though! After school, we'll hang out at the nearby park or someone's house to play video games.Unit 6 covered shopping and money topics. I don't have a job yet, but I do get a decent weekly allowance from my parents if I do my chores and get good grades. I use that money to buy gaming accessories, soccer gear, or save up for the latest video game release. My parents will sometimes take me to the mall, but I prefer buying stuff online - it's just way more convenient. The last thing I want is to be dragged around the mall for hours while my mom tries on clothes.Moving on to Unit 7 which was all about food, restaurants, and healthy living. I'm definitely more of a junk food person - burgers, fries, pizza, you name it! My parents are constantly bugging me about eating too much fast food and trying to get me to eat more home-cooked meals instead. I'll admit my mom's cooking is great, but sometimes you just crave some greasy goodness, you know? As for restaurants, my all-time favorites are the Mexican and burger joints near my house. The supersize combo meals with a huge soda are my guilty pleasure. In Unit 8, we talked about vacations and traveling. My family usually takes one big trip every summer. Last year, we went to California which was a total blast! We spent a few days at Disneyland riding roller coasters and meeting the Disney characters. Then we drove down the Pacific Coast Highway, stopping at beaches along the way. The fish tacos in the little seaside towns were insanely good. I also loved visiting the outdoor malls and going篇6My Awesome School YearHi there! My name is Sam and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. After a lazy morning, I'll meet up with friends and we'll go to the mall, the movies, or sometimes just hang out at the park. We love going shopping together and trying on crazy outfits. My friends and I all have such different styles, but we appreciate each other's unique looks.Last Saturday, we went bowling and I scored two strikes in a row! I was so proud of myself. Afterwards, we stopped at our favorite burger place for lunch. I got a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake - definitely not the healthiest, but it was delicious!Sundays are usually when I take it easy and get ready for the new week ahead. I'll meal prep some healthy snacks and lunches, clean my room, and maybe read a book or take the dog on a long walk around the neighborhood. It's my time to recharge before another busy week of school.Unit 4: My CityThe most recent unit was all about our hometowns and neighborhoods. We practiced giving directions, describing locations, and making recommendations. The city I live in is fairly small with a population of only about 50,000 people. But I love the cozy, tight-knit community feel. Everyone seems to know each other, and you'll always run into familiar faces when you go out.Right in the center of town is Main Street, which is where you'll find most of the shops, restaurants, and entertainment. My favorite place to eat is the diner that's been run by the same family for over 60 years. Their milkshakes are out of this world! There's also a really cool independent movie theater that shows a mix of new releases and classic films. If you get tired of the downtown area, you can drive just 10 minutes to reach the huge park on the east side of town. It hashiking trails, playgrounds, sports fields, and even a little lake for fishing or renting paddle boats. My friends and I love having picnics there on sunny days.Just a couple miles from the park is the shopping mall, which has all the popular clothing stores and a tiny amusement park inside with go-karts, mini golf, and an arcade. It's basically a wonderland for kids and teens!I feel so lucky to live in a place with something for everyone - city perks combined with outdoor adventures too. While our town may be small, you'll never get bored or run out of fun things to do.Well, that's a glimpse into what I've been up to in 7th grade English so far! We've covered a lot of useful vocabulary and grammar for talking about our lives, routines, experiences, and surroundings. I'm excited to keep learning and improving my English skills. Thanks for reading my essay! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇2My Awesome Summer VacationHey there! I'm so excited to tell you all about my summer vacation. It was truly epic and full of amazing adventures. Get ready for an awesome story! It all started on the last day of school. I was super pumped because my family was going on a big trip during the summer break. We were going to drive all the way from our hometown to the Grand Canyon! My little brother and I could hardly contain our excitement. The first couple of days in the car were kind of boring, to be honest. We drove for what felt like forever, stopping only for food, bathroom breaks, and to sleep at motels. But things got way more interesting when we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon. Oh my goodness, it was breathtaking! We stayed at a hotel right on the rim of the canyon, so we had an incredible view. I'll never forget that first moment when we stepped out onto the viewing area and saw the vast, colorful canyon stretching out before us. It looked almost unreal, like a beautiful painting. My mind was totally blown by how massive and deep it was. I felt so tiny in comparison!Over the next few days, we went on some amazing hikes down into the canyon itself. It was a bit scary at times because of the steep drop-offs, but our guide made sure we were safe. Wesaw all kinds of cool wildlife like bighorn sheep, California condors, and Gila monsters. I loved learning about the geology and how the canyon was formed by erosion over millions of years. Science is so fascinating! After exploring the Grand Canyon, we drove further west towards California. Our next stop was Las Vegas, which was unlike any place I'd ever seen. The bright lights, huge casinos, and shows were overwhelming but in an exciting way. We didn't gamble since we're kids, but we did see an amazing magic show and ate at some crazy good restaurants. Vegas was a total blast! From there, we made our way to Los Angeles. As we got closer, I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the famous Hollywood sign off in the distance. LA was everything I'd imagined - busy, full of traffic, but also glamorous. We went on a tour of movie studios which was a dream come true for me since I want to be an actor someday.Seeing the sets and learning about special effects was mind-blowing. We also visited Santa Monica pier which had a fun amusement park and amazing beach. I'll never forget the feeling of the warm Pacific ocean on my toes as the waves rolled in.After LA, we drove up the coast to San Francisco. What an unbelievably cool city! We took a trolley ride, visited the Golden Gate Bridge, and saw the sea lions chillin' at Pier 39. The clam chowder soup in a sourdough bread bowl was out-of-this-world delicious. I definitely want to go back to San Fran someday. On our way home, we stopped for a night in Portland which has to be one of the weirdest but coolest cities ever. There were doughnut shops, coffee shops, book shops, you name it - all kinds of funky places. We wandered around just exploring the neighborhoods which had such a chill, artsy vibe. I could have spent weeks there! Finally, after driving over 4,000 miles, we made it back home.I was exhausted but filled with so many unbelievable memories from our cross-country road trip. Seeing different cities and landscapes across America was an experience I'll never forget. This summer was definitely one for the books! I have a much bigger appreciation for how diverse and beautiful our country is after visiting so many different places. I feel like I grew up a lot and have a broader perspective now. I'm already dreaming about where we'll go next summer. Maybe we'll drive up to Canada or down to Mexico! Who knows what adventures await? I can't wait to find out!篇3My Awesome 7th Grade Year (So Far!)Hey guys! I'm so excited to tell you about all the cool stuff I've learned in English class this year. We just finished Unit 4, so I thought I'd write about the last four units and everything we covered. Get ready for an awesome journey through 7th grade English!Unit 1 was all about storytelling, and boy did we dive deep into some entertaining tales! We read short stories from around the world, analyzing the plot, characters, and themes. My favorite was definitely the one about the sly fox who outsmarts the arrogant crow - the twist at the end had the whole class cracking up.We also spent a bunch of time working on our narrative writing skills. I'll be honest, coming up with an original story from scratch was really hard at first. But Ms. Johnson gave us these awesome "story cubes" with pictures on them that helped spark ideas. Pretty soon, my imagination was running wild! I wrote an epic fantasy tale about a young wizard battling a fierce dragon. Hopefully it'll get turned into a movie someday (just kidding...kind of).In Unit 2, we dived headfirst into the world of persuasive writing and public speaking. Talk about stepping out of my comfort zone! We learned all about rhetorical devices like pathos, ethos, and logos to make our arguments more convincing. Those Greek philosophers really knew what they were talking about. The big challenge was our in-class debates. I have to admit, presenting in front of everyone made me super nervous at first. But once I got going, it was actually pretty fun trying to outwit my opponents with facts and logic. We covered some fascinating topics too, like whether we should have longer school days or dress codes for students. In the end, my team emerged victorious in the great "School Uniform Debate of 2023." Suck on that, dress code!Unit 3 took us on a poetic journey through the ages. We analyzed classics from Shakespeare, Frost, and Angelou, exploring figurative language like metaphors and symbolism. I'll be real with you, some of those old poems were pretty confusing at first. But Ms. Johnson showed us step-by-step how to unpack the deeper meanings, and suddenly those verses were like word paintings coming to life before my eyes.My personal favorite was the poem about the road diverging in the woods. I don't always take the easy path, you know? Or atleast that's what I told myself while I procrastinated on the poetry analysis essay until the last minute...oops!That brings us to Unit 4 - persuasive reading and media literacy. We learned just how sneaky advertisers and news outlets can be in trying to influence people's opinions. Talk about an eye-opening experience! We spent weeks deconstructing ads, articles, and videos to identify bias, faulty logic, and other manipulation tactics. From commercials using celebrity endorsements to political pundits slanting facts to suit their narrative, we saw it all. I'll never look at media the same way again. In fact, I basically turned into a human lie detector, calling out every instance of loaded language or cherry-picked stats in conversations with my family. Sorry Mom and Dad, but the wool can't be pulled over these eyes! For our final unit project, we had to create our own mock ad campaigns or news broadcasts and then swap with partners to break down each other's persuasive techniques. I went all out with an over-the-top car commercial filled with every subliminal messaging tactic in the book, from associating the vehicle with beauty to preying on consumer insecurities. When my buddyLuke analyzed it, he could barely contain his mind-blown-ness at all the sly maneuvers. Manipulation mastery achieved!Phew, what a year so far! I can't believe how much I've learned about effectively reading, writing, speaking, and analyzing the English language. From spinning imaginative tales to crafting airtight arguments to digging into poetry's deeper meanings to seeing through media deception, my skills have leveled up big time.Sure, some of the work was challenging and pushed me out of my comfort zone. But that's how we grow, right? With summer vacation just around the corner, I can't wait to get somewell-deserved rest and recharge my brain batteries. Seventh grade, you've been a total blast, but eighth grade...you'd better watch out! This skilled student is coming for you next!篇4My Life as a Middle SchoolerHi! My name is Alex and I'm a 7th grader. A lot has happened since middle school started last year. I want to tell you all about my experiences so far in 7th grade!Unit 1 - My New SchoolLast year when I started 6th grade, everything was so new and different from elementary school. The building was huge with long hallways and lots of classrooms. I had to switch classes for each subject instead of staying in one room all day. It was confusing at first finding my way around, but I quickly got the hang of it.My favourite part of the new school was meeting all the new students. In elementary school, I was with the same kids for years. But now there were students from all the other elementary schools in the area. I made so many new friends! At first, I stuck with the kids I already knew from my old school. But soon I started chatting with other new students at lunch and during activities.Another big change was having different teachers for each subject. I loved that because every class was taught in a different way depending on the teacher's style. My math teacher was pretty strict, while my English teacher was more laid-back and let us work in groups a lot. It kept things interesting!Unit 2 - My DayThe typical day in middle school is very different from elementary school. The days are longer, with classes runningfrom 8am to 3pm. We also switch classes every period instead of staying in one room.My day starts with mom waking me up at 6:30am. I get ready, have breakfast, and we leave for school by 7:30am. Classes begin at 8am with my homeroom period, where we have announcements and take attendance. Then it's off to my core classes - math, science, English, and history. We have those daily and they are my most challenging courses. I actually really enjoy them though because the teachers make the subjects interesting and interactive. We do lots of group work, projects, and hands-on activities. It's not just sitting and listening to teachers lecture all day. After those core classes, I have my electives like art, music, computers, and gym. Those classes are a nice break because they are more fun and relaxing. Art and music are my favorites - I love being creative and practicing instruments. Computers is also cool because we learn coding and video editing.Around noon, we have a break for lunch. I meet up with my friends and we talk and joke around for 40 minutes. After lunch, it's two more periods of core classes, ending at 3pm. Some days I have after-school activities like basketball practice or homeworkclub until 5pm. Then it's home for dinner and homework before bed! Busy days but I love middle school!Unit 3 - My Best FriendMy best friend is Sam and we've known each other since 1st grade. We met on the playground during recess and just clicked right away. Sam has always been really funny and outgoing, while I was more on the shy side back then. I think that's why we became such good friends - our personalities balanced each other out perfectly. We spent so many playdates and sleepovers throughout elementary school creating crazy games and adventures. We were those kids constantly running around laughing and being weird together. We didn't care what anyone thought, we just had nonstop fun. When middle school started, I was really nervous about Sam and I ending up in different friend groups. Thankfully, we ended up in a lot of the same classes! We continued our tradition of sitting together, whispering jokes, and basically being attached at the hip. We even joined the basketball team together. What makes Sam such an amazing best friend is how caring and loyal they are. If I'm having a rough day, Sam is the first oneto notice and do something to cheer me up. They always have my back and gives the best advice. We share everything with each other - nothing is off limits or too embarrassing between us.Don't get me wrong, we've had our share of disagreements over the years too. Like when Sam was篇5My Fun School YearHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about my school year so far. We just finished unit 4 in our English textbook and I have learned so many cool things! In unit 1, we talked about our daily routines and hobbies. I wrote all about my normal day, from waking up early for school to doing my homework and playing video games in the evening. My favorite hobby is definitely playing basketball with my friends at the park near my house. I described how we meet up almost every Saturday to shoot some hoops and mess around. Sometimes we play games like H-O-R-S-E or have a big 5 on 5 game. It's awesome! Then in unit 2, we learned about different cultures and traditions around the world. I found out about holidays I had never even heard of before! Like the Diwali Festival of Lights in India where people set off fireworks and decorate with tons of cool lights and lanterns. Or Day of the Dead in Mexico where families make altars and leave offerings to honor their ancestors. My favorite was probably learning about the giant Tomato Fight Festival called La Tomatina in Spain – it looks like so much fun to have a huge tomato fight in the streets! I would definitely get hit in the face a bunch of times though.Unit 3 was super interesting because it was all about technology and inventions that changed the world. We read about the printing press, the light bulb, the telephone, and so many other game-changing discoveries throughout history. My favorite invention we learned about was probably the World Wide Web and the internet. It's crazy to think about how much it has transformed communication and access to information for people all over the planet! Speaking of technology, my dream invention would probably be some kind of teleporter so I could travel anywhere in the world in an instant. That would be the ultimate video game cheat code! Finally, unit 4 focused on protecting the environment and sustainability. We learned all about things like renewable energy from the sun, wind and water, reducing waste by recycling and reusing items, and sustainable farming methods. It was kind of scary finding out about all the damage things like plastic pollution, deforestation and fossil fuels are doing to our planet. But it also inspired me to try to do better with simple things like using a reusable water bottle, recycling all my bottles and cans, and cutting down on wasted food and electricity at home. Every little bit can help make a difference! If I could make one rule for everyone to be more eco-friendly, it would be that we have to pick up any litter or trash we see on the ground. Imagine how clean our neighborhoods would stay! This school year has been such a blast. I've learned so many amazing facts about the world while also working on my reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. My English just keeps on improving which will help me a ton in the future. I'm already looking forward to next year when I'll be in 8th grade and tackling new topics and challenges. But for now, I'm just excited for summer vacation! Thanks for reading about my awesome 7th grade year. See you next time!篇6My Summer VacationHey guys! I'm so excited to tell you all about my summer vacation. It was the best summer ever! I had so many fun adventures and made lots of amazing memories. It all started at the very end of the school year. I was counting down the days until summer, making big plans with my friends. We were going to have sleepovers every weekend, go swimming at the pool every day, and play video games until our eyes couldn't stay open any longer. Summer stretched out forever with no school, no homework, and no waking up early. It was going to be the life! The first few weeks of summer passed by in a blur of fun. My friend Michael had a huge trampoline in his backyard and we spent hours bouncing on it, trying to outdo each other with flips and tricks. I had a few scrapes and bruises from falling, but it was totally worth it. We also went to the movies a bunch of times to see all the big summer blockbusters. My favorite was the superhero movie - the action scenes were insane!Around the 4th of July, my family traveled to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins who live a few states away. The drive took forever but it was cool seeing different cities and landscapes out the car window. My cousins have a pool in their backyard and Ibasically lived in it for those two weeks. We had swimming races, cannon ball contests, and Marco Polo tournaments. In the evenings, we'd roast marshmallows over the fire pit and stay up late watching movies and telling spooky stories. When I got back home, there was a summer camp I was really excited to attend. It was an outdoor adventure camp with hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, archery and survival skills. I was a little nervous at first since I didn't know anyone, but I quickly made friends with some other kids. We became a tight group, challenging each other on the rock wall and camping out under the stars. I hadn't spent much time outdoors before, so it was awesome learning how to navigate by the sun, build a fire, and identify different plants and animals. I felt like a total pro by the end!The last few weeks of summer, my friends and I just hung out as much as humanly possible. We had lemonade stands, water balloon fights, and video gaming marathons. My friend Sara's parents even rented a huge waterslide for her birthday party - it was epic! We spent long nights outside playing capture the flag and flashlight tag, not wanting the fun to ever。
初中七年级下册英语一到三单元综合作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My English Class Is So Fun!Hi! My name is Tommy and I'm in 7th grade. I really like my English class this year. We're learning so many cool things! In Unit 1, we learned all about daily routines. My daily routine is to wake up at 7am, brush my teeth, get dressed, and have breakfast. Then I catch the bus to school at 8am. My favorite part of the morning is when my mom makes pancakes! They're so yummy in my tummy. At school, we have English class right after lunch. Our teacher Mr. Roberts is really nice. He always starts class by saying "Hello, hello, class! Are you ready to learn?" And we all yell "Yes, Mr. Roberts!"One of the first things we learned were the words for different daily activities. Things like "take a shower", "get dressed", "brush your teeth" and "have breakfast." We practiced asking each other "What do you do in the morning?" Then yourespond with "In the morning, I..." and list your routine. It was fun sharing our routines. We also learned how to say the time. That was a little tricky at first. But we sang lots of songs about "It's 3 o'clock", "It's quarter past 8" and even "It's 11:45!" Now I'm a pro at telling time in English. In Unit 2, we moved on to talking about food, restaurants and recipes. My favorite foods are pizza, chocolate ice cream and chicken nuggets. What's your favorite food? We learned words like "ingredients", "utensils", "recipe" and how to describe tastes like "salty", "sweet", "sour" and "spicy."One really cool activity we did was give instructions for a recipe. Like "First, you need to preheat the oven. Next, mix the flour, sugar and eggs together. Then, pour the batter into a pan..." It was neat learning all the steps and new vocabulary words. We also learned about different types of restaurants and how to order food politely. Like if you go to a pizza place, you might say "For here or to go?" Or at a burger restaurant - "I'd like a cheeseburger, fries and a Coke please. Thank you!" We even did some role-plays where we acted as waiters and customers. Itwas hilarious when Michael pretended to be a rude customer who sent his food back three times!Unit 3 was all about hobbies, sports and clubs. We talked about popular activities like dancing, fishing, reading, watching movies and playing sports. I love playing soccer, swimming and riding my bike. What's your favorite hobby? We learned vocabulary words like "teammate", "opponent", "coach", "practice" and "tournament." Did you know that if you get 3 strikes in baseball, you're out? Or that a "match" is what you call a tennis game? There's so much new English vocab for sports! My favorite part was when we surveyed the class about our hobbies and free time activities. We asked each other "What do you like to do after school?" Or "What's your favorite sport to play/watch?" Then we made bar graphs showing the most popular hobbies. Drawing and skateboarding were the top answers! We also learned how to talk about club meetings and activities. Like you might say "The art club meets every Wednesday after school to work on projects." Or "My brother goes to basketball practice from 3:30 to 5pm." Using time expressions like "every week" and "from X to X" was really useful.Well, that's a quick overview of my awesome English class so far! Units 1-3 were packed with so many great activities for learning practical vocabulary and conversational skills. I can't wait to see what else we'll be doing this year. English is my favorite subject for sure!Ta ta for now! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇2Unit 1 - My School LifeHi everyone! I'm going to tell you all about my school life in 7th grade. I just started middle school and it's really different from elementary school.First, the classrooms are much bigger with more students. My class has almost 40 kids! It was pretty scary at first with so many new faces. But I've made some great new friends like Michael who sits next to me. He's really funny and good at math which helps me a lot.The classes are harder too with more homework and tests. English is my favorite though because I love learning new words and reading stories. This unit was all about schools around the world which was super interesting. Did you know in somecountries kids have to clean their classrooms and school grounds? I'm kind of glad we don't have to do that!Another big change is having different teachers for each subject. It's cool getting to learn from experts but it means a lot of different rules and assignments to keep track of. I have a special notebook just for writing down all the homework!Overall, I'm really enjoying middle school so far, even if it's a lot more work. I've joined the art club which is fun, and I'm trying out for the basketball team next week. There are so many great opportunities here that we didn't have before. I can't wait for the rest of the year!Unit 2 - My CommunitySwitching gears now to talk about my community. I live in a pretty cool neighborhood in the city with lots of parks, shops, and restaurants nearby. My favorite place is definitely the community center. The community center has an amazing pool where my friends and I like to swim in the summer. There's also a basketball court, playground, and hiking trails all connected. Sometimes we have picnics or barbecues there on the weekends with our families. They offer tons of fun activities and classes too like art, dance, martial arts, cooking, and more. Last month I took a beginner's coding class and it was so interesting learning about computer programming. I may join the robotics club next year. The center also has resources for community service projects which I love. My class volunteered at the food bank over the holidays, packing boxes for families in need. It felt awesome giving back like that.My dad is actually on the community board that helps plan events and make decisions. Once a year they have a big festival with games, rides, music, and food trucks. The whole neighborhood comes together and it's a total blast.I'm so lucky to have such an amazing community with all these wonderful facilities and people. The center promotes health, learning, volunteering, and just having fun together. It's the heart of our neighborhood for sure!Unit 3 - My Role ModelsOkay, get ready because I'm about to tell you about some of my biggest role models and inspirations. First up is my mom who is just the hardest worker I know.My mom is a nurse at the hospital downtown. She has to wake up at 5am every morning and often works late nights or double shifts. Even after super long days, she still comes home and makes sure my brother and I have a warm dinner and clean house. I truly don't know how she does it all.Not only is she hard-working, but she's also just the kindest, most caring person. She's always there for us, helping with homework, running errands, giving advice. And at the hospital, she treats every patient like their own family, making them feel comfortable. My mom overcame a lot of challenges growing up in a different country before moving here. She didn't have a lot of money or opportunities, but she never gave up on her dreams. She put herself through nursing school with scholarships and jobs. Her determination inspires me every day.Another huge role model is my uncle who was the first person in our family to start his own business. He opened up a little restaurant in our neighborhood and it was a massive risk, but it paid off.I've learned so much helping out at the restaurant over the years - everything from cooking to customer service to money management. My uncle works his butt off, getting to therestaurant before sunrise to prep food and leaving after midnight once everything is cleaned up. He sets such an amazing example of entrepreneurship and following your passion. What I admire most though is how he treats his employees with so much respect, like family rather than just workers. My uncle makes sure everyone gets breaks, gets paid fairly, and has opportunities for growth. He's created such a positive environment which is why the restaurant has been so successful.I feel very fortunate to have such incredible role models in my life who motivate me to be generous, hard-working, and principled. My mom and uncle show that you can absolutely achieve your dreams through dedication and kindness. So that's my essay about school, community, and role models! I had fun writing it and hope you liked learning about my life. Study hard and be good people! Bye!篇3My Awesome English ClassHey guys! I'm super excited to tell you all about my amazing English class this year. We just finished the first three units and I learned so many awesome things. Let me break it down for you!Unit 1 was called "Making Friends" and it was all about meeting new people and being friendly. We learned tons of great vocabulary words like "introduce", "greet", "chat", and "get to know". My favorite new word is "pal" - it's such a fun way to say friend! In this unit, we practiced introducing ourselves and asking questions to get to know our classmates better. I met this really cool kid named Jack who loves soccer just like me. We're totally pals now! The unit had lots of fun dialogs that showed us how to start conversations in English. I can't wait to make more new friends and practice my smooth conversation skills. Then we moved on to Unit 2 which was called "A Typical Day". This one taught us how to talk about our daily routines and schedules in English. We learned verb tenses like the simple present to describe habits and the present progressive to talk about activities happening right now.It was pretty crazy to realize how many things I do every single day without even thinking about it! Things like brushing my teeth, getting dressed, eating meals - I never really paid attention to my little routines before. But now I can explain my entire day in perfect English. From when I wake up at 7am to when I go to bed at 9pm, I've got it all covered. The dialogs in this unit were awesome too. They showed kids our age describing their morning routines, after-school activities, chores around the house, and more. I loved seeing how English speakers talk about their typical days. My favorite part was learning to tell time, hickory dickory dock!Last but not least, we finished up Unit 3: "Catching Up". This unit was dedicated to talking about past experiences and recent events. The grammar focused on the simple past tense and asking/answering questions starting with "What did you...?"It was so interesting to learn how to share stories and memories in English. We read examples of people describing things like vacations they went on, concerts they attended, adventures they had, and more. I can't wait to tell all my English-speaking friends about the time I got a hole-in-one in mini golf! Okay, maybe not a hole-in-one, but you know what I mean.We also learned how to ask follow-up questions to keep a conversation going. Like if someone says "I went to the beach last weekend", you can ask "Did you go swimming?" or "Who did you go with?" Keeping the chat flowing like that is key.Phew! Looking back, I guess I really did learn a ton of useful English this semester. From properly introducing myself to newfriends, to describing my daily schedule, to recounting awesome past experiences - I'm slowly becoming an English master! My mouth is maybe a little sore from practicing all that English conversation, but it's super worth it. The more I use it, the better I'll get. Who knows, maybe I'll be an English teacher myself one day! Though for now, I'm just happy being the most English-savvy kid on the playground. Awww yeah! Thanks for reading about my adventures in English class! I'll keep working hard and talk to you again soon. But for now, bah bah black sheep, have you any...wool? Okay, I'll stop while I'm ahead. Catch ya later, pals!篇4My Big Seventh Grade AdventureHi everyone! My name is Alex and I'm in the 7th grade. I want to tell you all about the cool stuff I've been learning in my English class this year. It's been a real adventure! In Unit 1, we learned about different cultures and countries around the world. We read stories about kids living in places like Mexico, India, and Egypt. It was so interesting to see how theylive their daily lives. Their food, clothes, customs, and traditions are all so different from ours!In Mexico, they have this holi day called Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead. It sounds kind of spooky, but it's actually a celebration where families remember their loved ones who have passed away. They make these colorful skull masks and eat sweet bread shaped like skeletons. So crazy, but also kind of cool!Speaking of food, we learned about all sorts of yummy dishes from around the globe. Like curry from India - it's this spicy sauce with rice and meat or veggies. My favorite foreign food has to be sushi from Japan though. I could eat those little rice rolls with raw fish every day!Unit 2 was all about outdoor adventures and exploring nature. We read Jack London's classic story "To Build a Fire" about a man struggling to survive in the freezing Yukon wilderness. It was intense! We also learned about famous explorers like Edmund Hillary who climbed Mount Everest, and Jacques Cousteau who explored the ocean depths. My class did a really neat project where we had to plan our own outdoor adventure and camp out in the woods behind the school for a night. We set up tents, cooked hot dogs over a fire, and told ghost stories under the stars. A raccoon even camesniffing around our campsite! I was pretty brave, but a few of the girls screamed haha. For our creative writing assignment, I penned an epic tale about a young adventurer who finds a hidden pirate treasure map tucked inside an old book. He has to decipher the coded map, sail across stormy seas, and fight off evil buccaneers to find the buried riches. Of course, the X marked the spot and he became filthy rich in the end. Writing that story was so much fun! Then in Unit 3, we learned about science and innovation. We studied famous scientists like Marie Curie who discovered radiation, and Thomas Edison who invented the lightbulb and phonograph. It's amazing how curious minds and hard work can lead to such important breakthroughs. Our teacher set up this rad science lab where we got to do all kinds of hands-on experiments. We made little volcano models that actually erupted, separating mixtures with magnets, and learned about chemical reactions that create light and color changes. For our final project, my team built a working Rube Goldberg machine to complete a simple task through a crazy chain reaction of cause and effect. Ours launched a stuffed animal into a basket using levers, pulleys, and gravity. It didn'twork perfectly at first, but after a lot of testing and tweaking, we got it! Felt like real scientists. That's just a small taste of the awesome stuff I've learned this year. Studying different cultures, exploring the outdoors, and doing science experiments have all been so interesting and engaging. My English skills have really improved too through all the reading, writing, speaking and listening activities.Seventh grade has truly been an eye-opening adventure filled with new knowledge, creative projects, and fun memories. I can't wait to see what other exciting things I get to learn and do next year! Thanks for reading my composition, and here's to more learning adventures ahead!篇5Hiya! My name is Timmy and I'm in 4th grade. My big sister Sophie is in 7th grade and she let me borrow her English textbook. It's pretty thick and has lots of big words, but I'll try my best to tell you what I learned from the first few units!Unit 1 was all about adventures and traveling. There were stories about kids exploring rainforests, scuba diving in the ocean, and even going up in spaceships! My favorite story was about two brothers who got lost hiking in the mountains. Theyhad to use a map and compass to find their way back home. I don't think I'd ever want to get that lost in the wilderness though - I'd be super scared! There were also tons of new vocabulary words related to adventuring like "expedition", "navigate", and "perilous". I had to ask my sister what some of them meant. The grammar lessons talked about things like past tense verbs for describing adventures you already had. Like "I climbed the mountain" instead of "I climb the mountain". Getting all those verb tenses right is pretty tricky. In Unit 2, the big theme was communication and technology. It was all about stuff like email, video conferencing, and social media. There were dialogues of people texting their friends and learning funny abbreviations like "lol" and "brb". My parents are always saying I spend too much time on my tablet, so maybe I shouldn't have paid such close attention to that unit! The grammar here was about forming questions, like "What do you think about that video I sent you?" Sophie thought the technology stuff was pretty boring, but I thought it was cool to learn about new apps and websites. Though a lot of the social media platforms in the book are probably out-of-date already! Finally, Unit 3 covered sports and fitness. This was my favorite unit for sure! There were readings about different athletic activities like basketball, surfing, and rock climbing. And there were even examples of sports commentary, like aplay-by-play of a soccer game. The new vocabulary words were stuff like "teammate", "maneuver", and "agility". Maybe I'll use some of those words the next time I'm playing kickball at recess. For the grammar, there were lessons on using adjectives to describe people and things, like "The acrobatic gymnast performed a daring stunt." I had never heard the word "acrobatic" before, but now I know it just means someone who is skilled at jumping, flipping, and balance. Cool! There were also lessons about adverbs that tell how someone did something, like "He ran quickly" or "She kicked powerfully". I still get adverbs and adjectives mixed up sometimes though. Grammar is hard!Well, that's all I can really remember about the first few units of Sophie's textbook. Between all the stories, vocabulary, and grammar practice, it covered a ton of stuff! Some of it was a little too advanced for me, but a lot of it was interesting and fun. Maybe I'll keep "borrowing" Sophie's textbooks throughoutmiddle school so I can get a head start on learning everything. Or maybe she'll just get mad that I keep taking her books. Oops!Anywho, I hope this gives you a good idea of what those first units were all about. Let me know if you need me to explain anything else. I'll do my best! Well, gotta run - I think I hear my mom calling for dinner. Catch you later!篇6My Awesome English ClassHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my fantastic English class this semester. We just finished the first three units and I learned so many cool things!Unit 1 was called "Making a Difference" and it was all about how kids can change the world by helping others. We read stories about kids starting charities, cleaning up parks, and raising money for good causes. My favorite story was about a girl named Lily who collected bottles and cans to recycle and donate the money to an animal shelter. I love animals so that really inspired me.After reading the stories, we had to write essays about how we could make a difference in our community. I wrote aboutstarting a neighborhood club where kids could go around and do yard work, walk dogs, or other chores for elderly people who need help. My teacher gave me an A and said it was a "Nobel" idea! I think she meant "noble" but it's okay, she tries her best with the big words. In that unit we also learned how to use modals like "can", "could", "should" and "might" to talk about possibilities and giving suggestions. Those are super useful for writing about ideas to help others. Like I "could" start a tutoring program or I "might" organize a tree planting day. Using modals makes things sound fancier too.Unit 2 was called "Careers of the Future" which was pretty neat. We looked at all the cool new jobs that might exist in the future because of technology and stuff. Some were cyber security analyst, digital health worker, and Avatar designer. Can you imagine designing avatars for video games or virtual worlds? That would be an awesome career! I'd love to create the coolest avatar skins and abilities. We also read about regular present-day jobs like chefs, athletes, musicians and how those careers could change and become really high-tech in the coming years. Like restaurants might have robot waiters and cooks, or pro sports could useholograms instead of physical athletes! Music could be created by artificial intelligence too. Modern stuff blows my mind sometimes. For writing practice, we had to describe our dream career using future tenses like "will", "going to" and "might". I wrote about being a pro video game streamer and esports champion. I said I'm going to play the coolest new games and might even design my own one day. People will watch me live on streaming sites and cheer me on at tournaments where I'll win lots of prize money! My teacher circled "will" everywhere and wrote "excellent use of future tense!" I'm definitely on my way to an A+ this semester. In Unit 3 called "Cultural Traditions", we explored all these fascinating holidays and customs from around the globe. We learned about watching sunrises during Waikiki in Hawaii, making rangolidesigns for Diwali in India, and the practice of ashing the Christmas tree on New Year's in Ireland. Experiencing all those vibrant cultures was a total blast. There was also a funny fake practice about the made-up "Rian" festival where you're supposed to wear goofy hats, juggle pickles, and eat spaghetti burritos or something. Our teacher was cracking up as she pretended to juggle the pickles in class.Sometimes she goes a little overboard with the silly activities, but hey, at least it keeps things entertaining! The grammar focus for that unit was using relative clauses like "which", "who", "whose", and "where" to give more details about people, places and things. Like describing the different cultural traditions which are celebrated in various countries, or the Irish town where the tree ashing happens. Relative clauses help you pack way more juicy deets into your sentences. For the big writing assignment, we had to do reports comparing and contrasting different cultural traditions from two countries. I chose Japan and Mexico because they both have awesome festivals with wild costumes and dances. I used a ton of relative clauses to precisely describe all the unique aspects which make their cultural events so special and vibrant. My report was super informative and my teacher wrote "Fantastic work comparing the rich traditions of these countries using terrific relative clauses!" Wow, she really turned up the outsized praise for that one. But I'm not complaining, I'll take all the compliments I can get! Maybe I have a future career as some kind of cultural expert or travel writer.Anyway, those were the highlights from my first three units of English this semester. We covered using modals to givesuggestions and talk about possibilities for helping others, future tenses to describe potential careers, and relative clauses to give precise details while comparing and contrasting. Not to mention exploring tons of inspiring stories, fascinating cultural traditions, and imagining the crazy future of technology!I'm learning so much useful stuff to express myself while becoming a more globally-aware citizen of the world. Who knew English class could be this amazingly educational AND stupendously fun at the same time? Stick around because Units 4-6 are just around the corner and I'm sure they'll be an epic blast too. Thanks for reading, awesome people!。
