Unit 4 Period 5 Reading for writing 教学设计
The theme of this part is to write a train travel across Canada. The instructor should
ask students to use the map to comb the travel route of Li Daiyu and Liu Qian, sort out and
summarize the travel experiences and news of the two sisters. Finally, students can write an
email in the tone of Lindaiyu to parents. The reading content of this part is the continuation
of the travel notes of the previous article. The text, with the clue of time and place
transformation, depicts a colorful picture with Canadian characteristics in beautiful and
fluent language, including the local natural beauty, urban style, culture and traditional art
life. It provides important information and vivid language materials for our final writing task.

教材分析
听说板块围绕“预测未来的变化”(Make predictions about future changes)展开,学生 需要电台访谈,对话中讨论了一些深刻的话题。例如:计算时机不会比人聪明,能不能像人 一样思考,未来气候变化会给城市带来什么影响等。这些话题可以引起学生的思考,使他们 更加关注人生价值、人类命运、环境保护和社会开展之间的关系。语言表达形式上,对话中 多处使用了表示预测的句子结构和时态,这既照应了该局部的听力策略,又表达了本单元目 标语法结构,为学生听后创编对话提供了语言支持。

1. 能够听懂并理解预测未来科技和生活的访谈。
2. 能够在听力语篇中抓取表示预测的时态和句子结构,获取主要信息。
3. 能够批判性地分析有关科技改变未来生活的不同观点,在充分论证的根底上形成自己的 观点。
4. 能够在口头交流中有条理地分析科技开展对未来的影响,表达自己的观点。
